Its nearly impossible for a good safety not to make a bonehead play sometimes thats apart of the game happens all the time. we need more interceptions somewhere in between all of our bonehead plays at some point.
Yeah I definitely don’t dislike Atogwe. He’s a fine player. I think I would prefer a younger one like drafting one in the 2nd round something.
what about bob sanders. but hes also injury prone. if he can stay healthy he would be good.

I agree Cricket. When a defense is aggressive I can live with a boneheaded play every once in a while as long as that aggressiveness leads to some turnovers here and there.
88 thats impossible since were taking peterson with the 2nd pick, and then drafting all dlineman and linebackers with the 3 2nd rounders (one from orton), and the 3rd. Im sorry but this just sounds so sexy to me.
Broncofreak30, we had a blast at the game. I thought you were an awesome and still do. I`m a people person big time. Bay is more serious, business type, matter of fact kind of person. He`s just old school and your a young vibrant 22 years old college person with ideas of the future. Both are good things. Bay may have crossed a line but it`s hard for a older guy to be schooled by a younger guy. It`s a respect thing. Older people demand respect. It`s always gonna be that way. It`s the bigger man that admits he`s wrong though.

Strand, I give everyone respect on here and everyone knows that! That’s why I am just surprised that no one can stand up for someone when they haven’t done anything wrong! It doesn’t seem right though when someone else is in the wrong that I get the heat from everyone!!

I know! For the past two years our D was so conservative trying not to give up a big play that we didn’t have any big plays of our own. At least Fox knows you have to man up and take a chance to win games every once in a while on D. thats what I’m looking forward to this year.

I have said numerous times that we can EASILY move down to #5 overall and pick Dareus! Even if that fails we can pick up Quinn who is by far a dominant amazing player! Honestly, I like him more than Bowers!!
glax, I know it’s frustrating sometimes. I have to refresh the page every 10 seconds to make sure I’m not repeating something someone has already said.
No matter what happens, I think we NEED to take 2 DL in the draft this year!
With how talented the group is, we cannot miss and need to get enough players that would change our group around which I think 2 would be the magic number in that situation! Maybe even two LB’s but I think 1 would be okay.
I personally like taking Dareus at number 2 instead of trading down. That’s just how I feel about it. But if you’ve seen my posts the last few weeks you’ll know that it’s because I’m just plain obsessed with Dareus.
If we do slide down to take dareus, i dont think he’ll be picked in the first 4 or 5 picks. I think hes kind of a sleeper as in i think hes a top 5 talent, but i think hell slide to top 10 possibly a little lower. I think people will be trying up with us to take peterson, fairley, bowers, newton, and green, not dareus for some reason. I also thing Mark Ingram is going to go alot higher than people think, just a random thought.
I’m just afraid the Bills at #3 might take Dareus since they run a 3-4 now and they really need someone who can play end in a 3-4, and Dareus is the best at that in this draft. That’s the only reason I’m afraid of trading down if we go after Dareus.

Seriously, you guys are great. I’m a Colorado native from a tiny town. I can’t get a lot of knowledgable Broncos talk around here. In fact, I see a lot of backsliders around here. My own brother has such a hard on for Cutler the Buttler that he roots for ‘Da Bers’. Too bad for him because T’bone will not only surpass Butler, he wants to do it in Denver for life. I’m just overjoyed with the Bailey news and trying to break the ice. Sorry, I said “hard on” again (on purpose this time).
