For the third straight season, a Bronco has been named to the USA Football All-Fundamentals team.
This year, the honor goes to wide receiver Eric Decker, whose highlighted fundamental skill is catching with his hands.
The team is picked by a five-person selection committee — NFL Network analyst Charles Davis, ESPN analysts Herm Edwards and Merril Hoge, new UCLA head coach Jim Mora and former NFL executive Carl Peterson.
Head Coach John Fox presented the award to Decker, saying, “We’re proud of you.”
“It’s quite an honor from the guys that picked,” Decker said. “It’s obviously an accomplishment. I have a lot of respect for those guys, but it is a team game, and without the guys on this team, I wouldn’t have had that award.”
So far this season, Decker has 41 catches for 585 yards and eight touchdowns.
In 2010, Champ Bailey was named to the All-Fundamentals team, following Ryan Clady’s inclusion on the team in 2009.

Awesome! Not put those hand to good use on Sunday…
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!
Kudos. Now you will really look silly if you keep trying to cradle the ball and let it bounce of your pads.
I wonder if they all have to vote: I, for it to go through. I just can’t see Hoge giving the Broncos any kind of love LOL.
Congratulations Decker!
