On Tuesday, the Broncos war room got a surprise visitor — recently retired safety Brian Dawkins.
Dawkins entered the room to thank everyone in it for the opportunity to play in Denver, and there were lots of smiles, hugs, laughs and some heartfelt interaction.
Before he left the room, however, Owner/CEO Pat Bowlen, Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway, Head Coach John Fox, General Manager Brian Xanders and the rest of the war room had a surprise for Dawkins as well.
The group presented him with a framed No. 20 jersey, which Dawkins said he truly appreciated.
Dawkins is expected to meet the media at approximately noon MDT today, and DenverBroncos.com will have more coverage of his visit to Dove Valley this afternoon.

broncosfreak30,
I am sold on Kuechly, but I am not a Fleener fan. I think Luck made him look better than he was and I don’t think any of the TE’s from this draft class will ever be even the top half of the NFL ever.
Kuechly, Barron, Brockers are my safe picks.
AFC South East and West (West wont be given out just yet)
NFC North East and South.
Freak has yet to choose the division he wants and LAX called AFC West but im waiting before giving that out.
***And Brockers has a BUST FACTOR***
I will go in the running for the AFC West
If I miss out on that, i will do the AFC East so i can mess up the pats.
Don Banks at SI now has Broncos selecting DT Jerel Worthy with 25th pick….
“Nothing fancy about this pick. The Broncos need a wide-load type in the middle of their defensive front, and this is the year to get one in a first round that’s ridiculously deep at defensive tackle. Worthy isn’t as flashy as some of the other first-round DTs, but he’s got a solid body of game tape tucked under his mostly obscured belt”.

Coming up with a big board with positional rankings if you want a copy let me know it should be done in an hourish
although, I might be pulled off of my computer at the time we are doing the mock
walterfootball now has the Broncos selecting DT/DE Kendell Reyes from UConn with 25th selection.
Nice Mock OC!! Hadn’t thought about DeCastro falling to 25th but he’d really solidify the interior if he does!
I’ll take NFC West if available!

Doug Martin at 25
I can dig it.
TRB
BNO14 you will be making the picks to better the team as if you are actually making the selections.
So please to all participants please make serious picks as to what you would do if you were part of that teams FO.
Freak the West isnt available.
AFC North and NFC West are the two divisions given out already.
And 31 .. why the heck would we trade up to 31 for Weeden? He will be like 35 byt the time Peytons Contract runs out lol. Not unless we are into old QBs on thier way out these days.
TRB
Nice mock OC, looks a lot like mine. Can’t wait for the speculation to be over and real time to be here.
TRB did you read the description for 31 in that mock?
I’ll take AFC South then.
Lol TRB guess you did lol
Ok Got you down Freak.
My ideal draft is for 2012 is as follows:
Move up to take:
7-10: Luke Kuechly
57: Trumaine Johnson MONT, or Janoris Jenkins Florida (off field issues but a TRUE TALENT), or Josh Robinson UCF
87: DT or RB
***traded next pick or two
6th or seventh round: Kellen Moore to learn from Peyton Manning.
******************
Believe me I know it won’t go down like that!!!! BUT HERE’s FOR HOPING
GO BRONCOS!!!
I got the Von Miller and Quinton Carter right last year, but I doubt any of mine will happen this year!!! LOL
Ill take the NFC north if still available
TRB
i was just kidding. How many rounds are there going to be?
O27C defiantly hoping lol 57 and/or 87 would be involved to trade up 15-18 spots plus next years 1st and 3rd. At least.
If janoris Jenkins falls to late in the 2nd round. Alot of teams are foolish. I knwo talent isnt a reason to ignore off the field issues but come on. Man can flat out play lol
TRB
TRB got you down. Its only going to be round 1. If i had set it up earlier I would have done 2 or 3 rounds. But the short time goes against it.
oh yea how many rounds are we doing in this mock? I assumed only round 1
TRB,
Yeah he is the best CB in the draft on the field!!!
cool round one sounds awesome
New blog.
I think he is right there with Morris Claiborne as far as talent. He may not be as big but he is faster and dang he’s got ball skills!!!
I also would love Martin. He reminds me a lot of Richardson.
Here is a vid of him vs Nevada. Very dominant!!

Luke, Martin, or Fleener!
GET MARTIN IF NOT LUKE!!!

No prob OC- liked your mock draft! Your mock is the only one I’ve seen with Ronnie Hilman listed. Broncos may just take him with other 4th rd selection.
