On Tuesday, the Broncos war room got a surprise visitor — recently retired safety Brian Dawkins.
Dawkins entered the room to thank everyone in it for the opportunity to play in Denver, and there were lots of smiles, hugs, laughs and some heartfelt interaction.
Before he left the room, however, Owner/CEO Pat Bowlen, Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway, Head Coach John Fox, General Manager Brian Xanders and the rest of the war room had a surprise for Dawkins as well.
The group presented him with a framed No. 20 jersey, which Dawkins said he truly appreciated.
Dawkins is expected to meet the media at approximately noon MDT today, and DenverBroncos.com will have more coverage of his visit to Dove Valley this afternoon.

I am sold on Kuechly, but I am not a Fleener fan. I think Luck made him look better than he was and I don’t think any of the TE’s from this draft class will ever be even the top half of the NFL ever.

“Nothing fancy about this pick. The Broncos need a wide-load type in the middle of their defensive front, and this is the year to get one in a first round that’s ridiculously deep at defensive tackle. Worthy isn’t as flashy as some of the other first-round DTs, but he’s got a solid body of game tape tucked under his mostly obscured belt”.

6th or seventh round: Kellen Moore to learn from Peyton Manning.
