The Super Bowl is just a few days away, and Jay Cutler is in Tampa making the rounds.
He just wrapped up a radio interview on The Dan Patrick Show, but that’s just one of several media appearances he’ll make throughout the day.
From 1:20 – 2:00 p.m. MST, you can watch Cutler as he visits the set of NFL Live on ESPN. After that, you can see him on Jim Rome is Burning on ESPN from 2:30 – 3:00.
He’ll wrap it all up Friday morning with a visit to Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN and ESPN Radio at 6:25 a.m. MST.
After wrapping up his interview with Dan Patrick this morning, he’ll film an interview for D-Life-TV which will air on MSNBC on a Sunday next month.

Jay u r a prime example of how all of us should act. If every1 in the NFL could learn 1 thing from you id like it to be ur courage to overcome there problems and focus on the game. Im so glad your the guy leadin this team and not n e of those other QB’s in the league.
Best of luck next season bring home the SB rings ’09-’10
I LOVE this guy… too awesome for words. So humble & grounded and down to earth and most of all a true class act. So proud to be a fan of this team, him and VERY proud to have his jersey!!! Sad that he and many others have to go through this disease but its someone like him that can make a difference.

Cutlers the man, in many great ways. I’m glad he’s in Tampa to get a taste of that Superbowl feeling. The Probowl will also give him that special drive to becoming the NFLs best QB. Take care Cutler, your fans can’t to see you back in action. Best of luck. Broncos 4ever!
Golly Gee-… I just love the fact that I’ll be able to see Jay’s entire career. Saw him get drafted, and now lookin’ forward to see him grow into that top NFL QB… WOO!… exciting… Good job Jay… Keep it up… and don’t let anything get to your head…(too much… of course a little is ok) ; )
he said he was happy bout it but he was pissed wen theey fired him. he said he talked to McD and he impressed him right away
And thats why he will always be a class Rivers!!! I am a little worried about the signing of Mike Nolan, should I be? Should Bronco Country be worried?
well hell i missed the jim rome interview. hope i can see it somehow comin up. what a cool dude our cutler is. i think he’s gonna be one of the best ever by the time its all said and done. and i REALLY love hearin how he was impressed by McDaniels. thats a good sign cuz if cassel and brady are any indication cutlers gonna blow up the stats next year and we’ll score alotta points. heres to hopin Marshall quits droppin so many passes. theres no excuse for that crap. i wanna see an 11-5 team next year. or if they increase the games in a season to 18 this offseason (and i really hope they do) then a 12-6 season is what i’m expecting. oh and has anyone else heard the rumor Nolan wants to go after Ray Lewis and have him on his D again? here in louisiana i just pick up rumors from the other two Bronco fans here (this place is Saints and Cowboys CRAZY) that probably arent true so help me out with that one u lucky denver locals!
and i don’t think you should be worried at all samoanbronco. Mike Nolan wasn’t all that great in SF as a HC but that organization is kinda screwy at the top and nfl analysts say that is partially to blame. he was given the opportunity to coach because of how great of a DC he was. his defenses were spectacular in Baltimore and i think he will bring the same kind of intense monster of a defense here. may take a cupla years tho considering how absolutely pathetic our defense has become. although he may actually take some of the players that werent doing much in slowik and bates systems and make them stars by using them and coaching them correctly. thats a big part of a coordinators job, designing schemes that put players in a position to be doing the things they excel at on every play. he does that. he knows how to put players in a spot where they can do well in a game and he can also develop raw talent very well. i am very pleased with the Mke Nolan hire and you will see good things from him. head up samoanbronco we’re movin in the right direction here and I LIKE IT!!!!!
GO KICK SOME BUTT NEXT YEAR BRONCOS!!!!!!! 2009 AFC WEST CHAMPIONS AND NOTHING LESS!!!!!!!
Not only am I a Broncos maniac, I’m a die-hard clone so rejoice denizens of Bronco Country, we will have Jungle karma because Romie also interviewed Brandon Marshall during his radio show. He’s also had Eddie Royal, Champ and many others on the TV show.
Anywhere I could find streams or transcripts from the interviews?
To listen to the Marshall interview go to http://www.jimrome.com then follow the links on the right side of the screen for day 4 interviews. I have not found it yet but i am sure there is a link to the Cutler interview here as well.
Hey just an update, I did not try to listen to the interview before I posted the above blog. To listen to the interviews on his website you have to be a member and there is fee attached, pretty bogus in my opinion…..
Nolan was the LB coach here when Mechlenburg ,Fletcher were raising hell on offenses. I think he will do great. I think other big signing was Ed Donatell. He was the secondary coach here during the Super Bowl wins. He took over a secondary that was last (1994), and put them in the top ten the next three years. He moved Braxton from corner where he was really bad and moved him to safety and Braxton lead the league in INTs and went to the pro bowl. His D in Atlanta was 1st in points allowed and was the big reason they made it to the NFC championship in 2004. The other coaches I don’t know that well but they sound really good.
Everybody need to go to http://www.denverpost.com & read what Plummer said about oh shanny boy.
Plummer’s interview on shanny “I thought it was past due,” Jake Plummer said in a telephone interview Thursday. “I think he had done what he could do and was just tapped out as far as his coaching style wasn’t motivating guys anymore.
Plummer was the Broncos’ quarterback from 2003 until he was replaced 12 games into the 2006 season by a rookie named Jay Cutler. Speaking not out of bitterness but in his relaxed, if straightforward, manner in a telephone interview from his home in Sandpoint, Idaho, Plummer indicated Shanahan seemed to become increasingly obsessed with the Broncos’ NFL rank in offense or defense instead of the win-loss record.
“It’s hard on a team. We were 7-2 at one point my last year and we came out of a meeting with our heads bowed and we were all just sulking around like we had just been berated for not putting up 40 points, for not leading the league in offense, for not creating enough turnovers,” Plummer said.
“It was a weird style to be coached that way. It really took it out of you as a player. I’ve been on 2-7 teams that had better attitudes coming out of team meetings than oftentimes when we came out of team meetings after Shanahan felt a need to motivate us even more.”
To be fair to Shanahan, others of his former players did not feel that way. Cutler was upset when Broncos owner Pat Bowlen fired Shana-han two days after the 2008 season, and he said so publicly. And Plummer admits his personal relationship with Shanahan began to deteriorate after the Broncos’ home loss in the 2005 AFC championship game and was compounded by a miscommunication regarding an offseason workout. Plummer thought he had cleared missing a week of offseason conditioning with an assistant coach only to learn later Shanahan was not informed.
Here is the link for the video with Cutler and Jim Rome.

what i dont understand is why people loved playin for shanny if this is true. i mean i think it was over exagerated
who cares what jake plummer says jay is better bye far, jake plummers team was 7 and 2 because of al wilson bertrand berry NICK FERGUSON ian gold trevor pryce reggie hayward and oh yeah CLINTON PORTIS
I think you hvae to take Plummer’s comments with a grain of salt. Frankly, if he hand’t failed to convert so many crucial 3 down situations he wouldn’t have ended up in Shanny’s dog house. To be a winner in the NFL, you have to be able to come thru in the clutch. With that being said, I think his statements do have some merit. In the last few years under Shanny , the team seemed to come out of the gate fast, only to falter from the mid season on. Something was definately wrong there besides the injuries. I was a big Shanny fan for sure and was pretty PO’ed when he got fired. I think it was the circumstances of his firing as much as anything and now after having time to think about it I’m looking forward to something fresh for the Broncos. I am especially stoked about the Nolan hiring as DC. His resume speaks for its self and I feel confident he will put the crush back in the Bronco defense. GO BRONCOS!
