dave, farve wants to play but he is past his prime and should hang up his cleats. then if he wants to be around maybe he should coach. or as the colts are doing ‘advise’
as far as the backfield goes, we are solid back there. living near ark. i know about Hillis a long time ago. my son wanted mcfaden or jones, each 1,000 yard runners, but i told him NO that we want the man that blocks for them, hillis. boy was i happy when we drafted him.
we are also in another disagreement, he is like EVERYONE else. he wants pressure on the QB from the front 7 and he wanted a big n/t. well i tried to explain to him that we could get to the q/b but our 2ndary was so bad that when we got close to their q/b he would just throw the ball up. and if the secondary could get better the q/b would have to hold the ball 1 second more, whitch would turn into pressure or a hurry or a sack. well with the adding of a few good players in the secondary and not a lot of help up front (not the big N/T) I will see if i am correct in my approach to solveing the D problems. what do you think?

Texark, hmm, let’s see, Moreno will be our #1 RB (just a lucky guess) and Hillis will be our FB (man, I’m on a roll) and Jordan will be goal line and short yardage (his weight is just a guess as to Denvers need) and Bucky will spell Moreno. Torain will make the squad if he comes back 100% from his injury. If not, then he will be released. I hope he sticks because he has skills. McD will use the run to set up the pass. I don’t think that will be the same scheme for every team Denver plays. Obviously, McD will play to their weaknesses. If the opponent stinks in the 2ndary or has a poor pass rush, look for Orton to be finding the WR’s. If the D has weak LB’s, look for McD to use the TE’s.
As for Favray (Farve), he should stay retired. He’s giving me a headache and starting to sound like Michael Jordan. He got the surgery done so it tells me he wants to come back. He needs to do it soon if he wants to have any hope of learning the O wherever he ends up. My guess is still MN if he does. I don’t know whether he will come back to play for sure. Easier to guess a woman’s mind then his, ha, ha.

if i recall draft will be after #4 preseason.

Thanks texark-fan. This has been a very tough time at the house. Broncos talk relaxes me. It helps me think about other things. So, when does the draft occur? I’ve never played fantasy football so I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. Of course, that’s why I’ll win it all….. Beginners luck, ha, ha.

hey DynamicDave, you actually didnt miss out on the fantasy football, we started another league and we would like to invite you to be apart of it. Heres what you have to do. Go to yahoo fantasy sports and sign up to be a member of yahoo if you already havent. After that go to the fantasy football page and click on join a league, after that click on join custom league, then it will ask for your ID # and password, ID# is 62034 and password is orangecrush, then make your team name as your name on here (Dynamic Dave). then click save and continue and you can look at how much everything is worth. then click register and your ready to go once you do your rankings. i would ask that all bronco fans that havent signed up to sign up right away but hurry up cause theres only 10 spots left.

Sorry I haven’t been on. I had services yesterday for my mother. I have familly down and I’ve been real busy. Sorry to miss the fantasy league thing but I don’t really get into the fantasy football much, anyways. Talk to everybody when I have more time.

I hate how all the “experts” are saying the Broncos will be terrible. Yes, there is a chance that we just fall apart and suck, but if you look at our roster there is some real potential there. I think it will depend on quarterback play and how the rest of the players grasp the system that McDaniels is implementing. My own personal theory is that Denver either does terrible (6 or less wins) or does great and shuts up everybody who doubted them (10+ wins, advance in playoffs). I’m starting to think we have more of a chance of doing really well next year. I’m excited- can’t wait for the first game of the year!

Coach McDaniels stated he did not expect Ryan Torain back anytime during the month of June. Torn ACL (tough injury). Hope the kid makes it back.
Kestahn Moore, (from Gators), has been getting some reps. Team also signed Darius Walker. Both appear to have the same physical stature as Moreno. Torain is a bigger back at 6″1′ 225lbs.
