On Saturday, a day before Super Bowl XLV, Brandon Lloyd was prepared to coach in the fourth annual Pop Warner Adrenalyn Bowl.
NFL Draft prospect Ryan Mallett, a quarterback from the University of Arkansas, was the other coach as the Arlington Thunder and the Mid-Cities Giants — both featuring players ages 9-11 — were set to square off.
But the weather in the Dallas area prevented the game from happening, and the teams headed inside for a skills and drills competition instead.
Lloyd kept the fun going as the Pro Bowler helped lead the kids through a variety of activities. Below are some of the participants. From left to right: Pop Warner National Football Commissioner Sam Mutz, Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb, Mallett, former TCU quarterback and NFL Draft prospect Andy Dalton, Lloyd, Pop Warner Executive Director Jon Butler and Pop Warner Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator Trevor Scholl.

Holy moly, Mallett is a giant! Lloyd looks tiny compared to the QBs. Thats weird!!!
Loved the American Family commercial the best. Tho the Ozzy/Beiber was pretty funny. Black eyed peas was horrible. But its been steadily going downhill after the ‘wardrobe incident’…
Congrats to the Pack. Injuries could have killed their chances. Instead they band together and win it all! (Roth shoulda ditched the visor). So, injuries cant be our excuse, can they???
Heres to hoping that we stay put at #2 regardless of the specifics. The only way I would be happy with trading down, is if it means they need the extra money to resign CHAMP!!!
Now there is no excuse for the CBA to get done.
great game. glad the packers won. hate the steelers. i only go for the steelers when they play the chargers or the patriots. dont care if theyre afc they have too many rings and cant get over the last time we played them in the afc championship. now we can concentrate on the draft and off season.
by the way heard a great cutler joke. why do they call jay culter 50 cents? cause u can only get two quarters out of him. lol.
LOL @ socalbroncofan… now that was a joke!! Too funny….
Great Super Bowl last night. Way to go Packers!!! I knew they’d get it.
Lloyd sure is making a name for himself. Glad to see him getting to “coach” and getting some well-deserved respect.
GO BRONCOS IN 2011!!!!!
