Another big win for the Broncos, another round of award nominations.

Ryan Clady is up for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week while the quarterback he protects, Jay Cutler, is up for Fed Ex Air Player of the Week.
Clady led an offensive line that allowed QB Jay Cutler to pass for 286 yards and two touchdowns, prevented Kansas City from recording a sack and helped Denver total 139 yards rushing in the Broncos’ 24-17 win over the Chiefs. Though this is the first time Clady has been nominated, he is the fourth Bronco to be up for the award after Peyton Hillis, Spencer Larsen and Eddie Royal have all been nominated and won.
No other team in the league has had more than one rookie win the award — the Broncos have three and now potentially four.
Titans running back Chris Johnson, Texans running back Steve Slaton, Cardinals cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart are the other rookies up for the honor.
Cutler completed 32 of 40 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos’ 24-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Cutler has already won this award twice in 2008, most recently after the Broncos’ win over the Jets.

Its about time that Clady gets some props in the NFL. He is one of the main reasons why were are still winning. The entire O line needs to get reconized on there week in and week out preformances. Its so easy how we forget the back bone of our team and keeping our franchise QB healthy all season. Thanks O line. I got your back!!!! go broncos

way to go clady and cutler.the broncos o-line is the best in the nfl.good job broncos and keep those weekly honors coming.hopefully boyd will be rookie of the week next week.go broncs and beat those cats
As you all have said, it is about time that Clady got the recognition that he deserves. Everyone wanted to talk about the job that Jake Long has been doing but the last time that I checked Pennington has been sacked 22 times. Clady is clearly the best LT to come out of the draft in the last ten years. When you think about all of the press that was given to guys like Robert Gallery or Ferguson you simply shake your head. I can remember a number of the draft analysts saying that Clady had a boom or bust quality and should start on the right side of the line to begin his career. Here’s a handkerchief so you can remove the egg from your face guy’s. Clady had better feet and is as strong as any tackle in the league. If he competes at this level for another two years then you have to start mentioning him with names like Ogden or Pace. I still think back to the preseason game that Denver had against Dallas. Clady manhandled Ware. There was one play during the second quarter where Ware made a stunt to the inside gap. The DT that was smashing right becoming Clady’s responsibility. As the DT tried to ride Clady outside to make room for Ware, Clady reached out with one hand and hit Ware in the chest so hard that he took a step back had to restart his rush and was therefore no where near Cutler when he let the ball go. I knew at that moment that Clady was going to be something special. Congratulations Mr. Clady. This recognition is well overdue and much deserved. Keep protecting that gunslinger of ours and plant Peppers on his ass this seek in Carolina!
Mike in San Diego
Way to go guy’s. Keep stacking those awards up on the shelf. You both deserve to win these awards just as the rest of the team does. You are playing great ball and we would like to see another award or trophy at the end of the season. Go get those cats and put them back in their cage.
–GO BRONCOS–
This is great! once again Cutler gets nominated and i’m glad that Clady is finally getting some props for the OUTSTANDING job that he has done this year. let’s get out there and vote Bronco Country.
GREAT JOB and WAY TO GO GUYS!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!!
Glad to see Clady get some recognition for his outstanding performance last week and for the entire season for that matter. What an athelete! When Cutler is on there is no one better and more importantly, he seemed to will his team to victory after a shakey start. If he keeps getting better every year of his carreer, it will be HOF for him . Could say the same for Clady though I don’t know how he could get much better than he already is! Go Broncos!
