Chiefs Win Coin Toss

November 25th, 2012 - 11:04am by Sam Davis

The Chiefs won the coin toss and elected to receive, so the Broncos start the game on defense.

Representing the team at midfield were the captains: quarterback Peyton Manning, defensive end Elvis Dumervil, cornerback Champ Bailey, linebacker Wesley Woodyard, guard Chris Kuper and the game captain, wideout Demaryius Thomas.

Running back Shaun Draughn returned the opening kickoff 31 yards to the Kansas City 29-yard line.

On defense, the Broncos come out with four down linemen – defensive end Elvis Dumervil, tackles Kevin Vickerson and Justin Bannan, and defensive end Derek Wolfe.

Von Miller, Wesley Woodyard and Keith Brooking start as the linebackers.

Champ Bailey and Chris Harris start at the corners with Rahim Moore and Mike Adams at the safety positions.

Following a Chiefs field goal, the Broncos offense comes out on the field.

The starters on the offensive line, from left to right, are tackle Ryan Clady, guard Zane Beadles, center Dan Koppen, Kuper and tackle Orlando Franklin.

Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker start at each wide receiver position with tight end Jacob Tamme and Brandon Stokley in the slots.

Manning is under center with running back Knowshon Moreno in the backfield.
