Chargers Pull Ahead, 10-0

October 15th, 2012 - 7:03pm by Tyler Everett

San Diego started its second consecutive drive inside the Broncos red zone, this time on the 19-yard line after a fumble on the kickoff return by Omar Bolden was recovered by the Chargers’ Corey Lynch.

San Diego needed just two plays to get into the end zone, with a run on first down followed by a touchdown completion from Philip Rivers to tight end Antonio Gates, who made the catch just shy of the pylon and stretched the ball over the goal line.

After a full week of drumming in the idea to protect the ball, can we fire those two guys in the middle of the game? What terrible play.
