On Tuesday, DenverBroncos.com will air its third episode of the season of Elway Access, a 30-minute podcast hosted by Broncos TV’s Chris Hall. During the podcast, Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway will answer questions that fans have submitted via Twitter using #ElwayAccess.
On Monday at 6 p.m., Head Coach John Fox discussed the Broncos’ Week 3 loss to the Houston Texans on the team’s partner station, 9 News KUSA-TV.
As Denver did in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons, the team once again fell behind by 20 points before nearly pulling off a comeback. Fox said better starts will be a point of emphasis this week in practice.
“You have to practice it,” Fox said. “We have to emphasize it better as coaches. We have to execute better as players. In both games, we started a little bit slower offensively… When you give up 21 to your opponent in the first half, it’s an uphill battle.”
Though the Broncos record now stands at 1-2, the team remains confident that it can rebound from its last two losses.
“There’s no panic,” Fox said. “I talked to the players this morning. Of course there’s some disappointment and we’re capable of playing better, at least more consistently. But obviously this early in the race, there’s not a lot of panic.”
Fans, be sure to get on Twitter and submit your questions using #ElwayAccess.

BLOW OUT THE FAIDERS!! THE DARK SIDE ARE THEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did anybody else notice that next week the AFC west plays 2 games head to head? Not only do the Broncos face the faiders in Mile High, but also S.D. goes to K.C. and thats a early game. Come On K.C. We want to use ya like a old beat down car. LMAO!!
Anybody watch the Monday Nighter?!?!
THESE REFS GOTTA GO NOW!!!!
Ha. The worst call in the history of sports.
I honestlt think these refs are betting on these games. the integrity of the game is gone. The NFL is now WORSE than the WWE because evetbody knows wrestling is fake. Very sad.
These refs have to go. Im sick of hearing they are doing the best they can. Its bs. THey are now directly controlling who wins or loses. Packers are 2-1 and Seahawks and 1-2. I dont care what the “Official” standings now state. Because anyone who watched that game knows that is what their records should be.
What a pathetic joke of officiating a game. Horrific. I’m considering boycotting the NFL outside of the Broncos games. This is not even worth watching.
I can’t even imagine how I would be feeling if I was a a Packers fan. I’d be going ballistic.
3rdGen they are. I have many Packer fans (And I have said before my 2nd fav team) and they are rioting. They are furious. Even Seahawk fans I know are pissed about it. THey wanted to beat one of the best teams in a fair way not by bs.
if i were the packers my “f you” to the nfl would have been not to come out for that extra point. what a joke. at least the seahawks could do is acknowledge that they were given this game.
I was here to post about the Packers game. Glad to see others as irate as myself.
As you know, I hate the cheesy dudes…but if I was Carroll I wouldn’t accept the win. That was too stupid. Carroll has the opportunity to make a statement that could really carry some weight.
ROD SMITH!!!! IS THE MAN!!!!!! ok we started slow in those last two games or we would be 3-0 we lost to the two best teams in nfl right now..we are going to be ok.!!! lets go broncos win the division games and pull off a couple big games and we got this!
The NFL will totally go into a chaotic state after watching this game. I do not know if i can watch anymore of this crap from a game i love. This is crap!!!
I don’t know why this is affecting me so much. I’m so mad about that call, and have no vested interest in the situation.
This “win” can affect so much. Not only the integrity of the game but the playoffs. Seachickens look to be in a tough division this year with the 3-0 Cards and 2-1 Niners. And the Pack are in with the 2-1 Bears 1-2 Lions and 2-1 Vikings. I know playoffs a long ways away but this game has will have an affect on not only that but probably the wild card spots as well.
DB Carol should make a statement but he wont.
I wanted the Seahawks to win (never really known why I always favored them) and when I first saw the play I couldn’t tell and thought “well maybe” (I was catching up on using highlights). Finally I found a full clip of the play from a couple angles and can say that was a TERRIBLE call. There was clear offensive PI and an interception! I understand that the ruling on the field was a touchdown and therefore when they reviewed it the ref decided that Tate demonstrated what he thought was control of the football. But it was a terrible initial call and they couldn’t even fix it after the fact!!! I thought the refs in our game were bad!!!
I agree AB, he won’t. Nobody in the game has real character anymore. (for free – LOL)
The NFL needs to stop this now!! Why play the game if the outcome can be determined by incompetence. As a fan I am disgusted and will boycott this game until this is righted.
Ya know, I’m just a girl over here, but last I checked the guy with BOTH HANDS on the ball is the receiver. Jennings caught the ball. This isn’t a fumble where the guy who comes up with it gets the ball. Jennings knee was down. This is the absolute most horrendous thing I have ever seen and the worst part is that Carroll and the rest of the Seachickens are acting like they really won the game. All I know is if that’s been us John fox would have to be tasered and suspended the rest of the season after his reaction. This is literally making me sick to my stomach.
It’s official. I refuse to watch anything NFL until my game on Sunday. I cannot watch this crap anymore. Sheesh. And we have the Raiders this week.
Cat i disputed catches like that they look at having both hands on the ball and bringing the ball to the chest. Something the Hawks receiver never did but what the Packers player did to. He had both hands on the ball and had it to his chest. By the NFL rules that was a INT as like I said the Hawks player never did either of those.
That should be in disputed catches.
Exactly, AB!!! sheesh, last Monday they only cost us a safety and an extra possession. This is by far worse than anything I have ever seen. Puts Jay Cutler’s fumble/incomplete pass waaaaaaay to shame.
Ok…so I found out that a tie in a catch is given to the offensive player. HOWEVER, this still does not excuse the PI no-call which would’ve negated the catch anyway.
I have to watch my Broncos. Do you really think you could miss a game because of this? I don’t know if I can do it.
SW Yes a tie in a catch is rewarded to the offensive player. But the Hawks receiver didnt have both hands on the ball and never brought the ball near his chest. So its not by rule a tied catch. And yes the OPI no call makes it even worse
SWBronco… That is if it’s a tied catch. It wasn’t. Tate did not have both hands on the ball.
Fair enough AB. I’ll concede that to you completely because I think the whole call was blown, I just had someone mention that rule to me and thought I’d bring it up. Jennings should’ve gotten it though
Oh my gosh! This gets even worse! Gary Miller just tweeted a picture of the catch… Ben Tate didn’t even have a hand on the ball until after Jennings was down.

Thats a Seahawks TD?
I’ve done my fair share of “it’s ok these refs are trying” but my god! That’s it, I’ve lost respect for ‘em completely!
Russell Wilson- 1st QB ever to throw a game winning interception….
Way to go ‘NFL Officials’ 2nd straight Monday night game blown by your incompetence.
Drew Brees even spoke up on this gobbledygook…
What did Drew Bree’s say?
Here’s a video…

Well, he is probably the most outspoken and I bet Goodell fines him.
What happened to the defense that broncos always had in the past,no matter how good manning is if the defense doesn’t stop the other teamyou are pressuring your offense
Goodell is going to have to pass out tons of fines. Way to go Green Bay Packers and the 49ers players went way over the line too. He will not know what to do with himself. He is not going to get any sleep for the next three days cleaning up this mess.
F.T.R………..
Hey FTR…..FTRs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve said this before, The Players Association needs to back the Officials Union here and make a real statement. I think that’s exactly what Brees did here.
I actually feel the refs got this call right, both the reciever and the defender had both hands on the ball when they came down to the ground and at that moment they were both down by contact. The strugle afterwards is after the play was dead, but the PI non call was blatant! How did the refs miss that? either way the Pack was robbed.
Any body know why Knowshon didn’t make the game? Is He injured too? Do we really have to count on Ball? Is Hillman ready?
FTR ! ! !
TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !
GO BRONCOS ! ! !
Did anybody see this? 2Funny!

Monodono… did you look at the picture AB posted. They did NOT get the call right. This game should be the first over turned outcome in the history of the NFL because it matters… it will affect the playoffs immensely.
Tate does not even touch the ball as Jennings comes down with it. Scroll up and look at that picture.
Goodell should resign as he no longer has his priority to protecting the “shield” of the NFL. His poor judgement concerning the officials has hurt the game tremendously and his support of replacement referees hurts all factions of the NFL, this includes players, referees, fans and owners alike. He’s has disgraced himself and the NFL by not being committed to resolving this dispute between the owners and the referees. No statement from him stating “he won’t take a paycheck” on this one. Well, he doesn’t deserve a paycheck , he’s just not earning it anymore.
I saw the pic, that is after down by contact.
It’s also not a completion until they come down.
The PI Non call was worse.
sndvl
On the attempted TD Bailey didn’t knock the ball out of AJ’s hands with his hand, I swear he did it with his foot while rolling out, saw that in real speed first time and I saw it and in every replay. That’s why when Bailey gets up he immediately goes to the ref to complain about something because he thinks it’s a TD until he sees the ref lifting his arms up signaling a TD, then he turns immediately around, sees the drop and he quits his complaining on the spot and starts celebrating, LMAO, he never even knew he made the play…. Such an unusual play I thought it needed clarification.
Yah bay, I noticed that during the play. His foot smacked the ball out of the receiver’s hands during the follow through of the play. He had no idea he actually broke it up. lol
Monodono. I disagree 100%. The only guy who had both hands on that ball was Jennings. Tate only had one hand on the ball. It is not a simultaneous catch if they don’t catch it at the same time and Jennings caught it first.
