The Patriots got the ball to start the second half looking to extend their 11-point lead.
But Quinton Carter came up with a big play when the Broncos needed it.
After an illegal hands to the face penalty gave New England a fresh set of downs on third-and-24 from their own 6-yard line, the Patriots drove down to the Denver 45-yard line. However, on third-and-7, Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen dialed up a blitz, and Carter got to Brady for his first career sack.
After a punt, the Broncos take over on their own 11-yard line, looking to put a solid drive together after ending the last three drives with two fumbles and a punt.
