To open the team’s final preseason game, six captains went to midfield for the coin toss. Zane Beadles, Joel Dreessen, Lance Ball, Chris Gronkowski, Rahim Moore and Ty Warren represented Denver.
The Broncos won the coin toss and elected to receive.
After the kickoff, the offensive starters jogged onto the field, led by Caleb Hanie at quarterback. From left to right, Chris Clark, Adam Grant, C.J. Davis, Philip Blake and Ryan Harris made up the offensive line. Knowshon Moreno and Gronkowski were in the backfield, Jason Hill and Andre Caldwell were the two receivers and Virgil Green lined up at tight end.
After a punt, it was the defense’s turn. Starting on the line were Jeremy Beal, Sealver Siliga, Kevin Vickerson and Robert Ayers. At linebacker were Nate Irving and Danny Trevathan. Drayton Florence, Tony Carter, Omar Bolden, Quinton Carter and Jim Leonhard rounded out the group in the secondary.

GO BRONCOS

Trevathan and Jackson are both studs who are making me want to see them in the starting rotation. Travathan is always near the ball and is a solid tackler. I don’t think I’ve seen him miss a single tackle all preseason.
Skilz, KKod; got your BBBPs.
Grand total of 99 BBBPs. Bummer, hoped it would hit 3 figures. LOL.
OSS-What was mine? I think I made one a long time ago.
Trevathan is a much better tackler then blocker.
OMG that roughing call was horrendous!! Ayers is having a very poor preseason.
Can I make an after the last minute one? If so BBBP trevathan makes the team and by week 7 replaces woodyard and woodyard moves to MLB to replace Joe Mays.
I’m developing a man crush on Trevathan….the guy is in on every play!! The tackle on Wells while he was being tackled by the O Line was pretty impressive.
I give Hanie a D for tonight. Not impressive showing.
