In the final training camp practice of 2013, there will be a first.
The Broncos will utilize crowd noise throughout the session to help prepare for their upcoming road matchup in Seattle.
“This will be our last road trip in the preseason,” Head Coach John Fox said of Saturday’s Seahawks game. “In Week 2 we have a long trip to New York, so we’re kind of treating it like it’s a practice road game. And it’s a hostile environment, it’s on artificial turf — so there are a lot of similarities and we’re approaching it that way.”
For that reason, the club will try to make things hard on the offense during Thursday’s practice by blasting crowd noise through large speakers on the field to simulate road conditions.
Fans are advised to be prepared for those conditions as well — it will get loud. So those heading to Dove Valley for Thursday’s 8:50 a.m. practice should keep that in mind.
