Miller… I had you down at 27-17… you were 7 Points off and didn’t qualify for points
Prediction:
Broncos: 30
Browns: 17
**** OFFICIAL SCORE PREDICTION ****
Broncos 34
Browns 16
Alaska, I see a lot of Broncos players we have to re-sign, such as;
1. Mitch Unrein
2. David Bruton
3. Tony Carter
4. Jim Leonard
5. Kevin Vickerson
6. Jason Hunter
7. Dan Koppen
8. Ryan Clady
9. Brandon Stokley
Colquitt: Punter is a RFA
I would move Clady up to number 1!!
FTR
FTR, So would I. I just started seeing names and started typing on a whim. Ryan Clady and Tony Carter are musts. After that I’d sign Stokley.
Would someone check my post under the Zane Beadles Walter Payton blog and tell me what a pancake block is?
A pancake block is just what it sounds like when your opponent ends up on his back as flat as a pancake
My two cents on the Pro Bowl…
A lot of people complain that it’s too soft and they should just play flag football or quit the game all together….
I say Phooey to all that jazz…
The Pro Bowl has always been played soft, for the love of the game, respect to fellow players, and to have all the greats on the field at once in a show that is not meant to be a head tearing off, smash mouth, get somebody injured and end their career or heaven forbid give a player a major concussion in the spotlight of the entire NFL audience kind of game…
I think everyone should just sit back and enjoy the Pro Bowl for having most of the greatest players of each year on the field at the same time… It’s a show, not a friggin tooth and nail Super Bowl battle…
I for one thoroughly enjoy the Pro Bowl and don’t need to see a super hard fought battle to be entertained. I just enjoy watching the talent of the best put up against the talent of the best without resorting to cavemanisms to prove superiority…
It’s fun; it’s a more civilized spectacle, a gentlemanly challenge in opposed to the bloody medieval battles that are the norm in the sport…
I think the NFL should play the Pro Bowl in Hawaii in March or late Feb so the SB players will be more inclined to play in the game. Also the NFL should hit the key strokes in advertising that the Pro Bowl is meant to be a show of the most talented players in a game that is not meant to be dangerously competitive as opposed to excitingly entertaining.
The NFL should expound as much entertainment value out of the Pro Bowl as it does with the Super Bowl. Have more extravagant half time shows and more player interviews, player interaction with fans, maybe more emphasis on players challenging other players to win without injuring each other…. Just throwing ideas out there…
Maybe they could call it the Safety Bro Bowl and emphasize to the entire NFL fan base and players that this All Star game is supposed to be played with utmost caution to eliminating injuries while putting on a great show…
I personally think that Roger Goodell or whoever is responsible for suggesting that we eliminate the game all together is just a person with no idea how to market his own product…
Rant over… thanks for reading……lol
ILMSDB
Couple of random thoughts on the Thursday. End of the world Eve…
We’ve scored 30+ points against the 3 AFC North teams we have played
3 of the 5 wins by the browns have come against the AFC West
Sundays matchup against Cle will be the only game with a rookie QB we will face this season. Regular season anyway
And finally, with 2 of the 3 Denver Broncos single season QB records in the book for one Peyton Manning- 8 games with a QB rating over 100; 31 TD passes- Mr. Manning is 511 yards away from the most passing yards in a season. Manning sits at 4016. The record of course held by Jay in 08 with 4526…
Broncos Country Strong 2012!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You 72,
Kind of a “well duh” for me, but thank you for clueing me in with out ruining my little remaining self esteem. FWIW I think we could still end up with two home games in the play offs with the Texans getting punked by a wild card winner. GO BRONCO’s
Hey sndvl…
Wow, I forgot all about the end of the world tomorrow… I guess it doesn’t make any difference how the NFL markets the Pro Bowl……LOL
Whatever you do, just don’t push the shiny red button. Wise words from Ren n Stimpy! LMAO!!
Season records for that matter too OC. Lol
I did see something funny earlier “If the world doesn’t end tomorrow- there will be a lot of babies born on Sept 20th 2013″!
Every other sport plays an all-star game – the best against the best. They usually play for pride. OK so Baseball and basketball do not take as much out of its players as football does…so compensate players well to make it worth it!!!
…and that’s my take!!!
IMO, the NFL actually has the most sensible All Star game… At the end of the season. Instead of of the middle of the season.
Lol
The thing with the pro bowl is that if people play hard, people can end a career. No one wants this to happen in a scrimmage game. Baseball and Basketball isn’t that dangerous and not many major injuries can happen in a scrimmage game. So i understand the players perspective in the pro bowl, football careers are short why make it shorter if no need.
I could not be happier with where we are at and where we are headed! Love our “D” this year, and while I was disappointed with Porter last time I blogged anything – I am grateful to know it was not his fault. I hope he is feeling better!
VERY HAPPY WITH CHRIS HARRIS AND STICKY MAN!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
Its Dec 21st 2012. One day after my 22nd birthday and im still alive, no end of the world yet. Lets raise a cup for a long fufilling life! Cheers!
My wife loves the pro bowl because it means the season is over.
I hate the pro bowl because it means the season is over.
Excuse me for laughing OC but I never envisioned the words gentlemanly challenge related to professional football. But to each his own of course. I have always watched football to release the pressure cooker of daily life. The day I watch it to see a gentleman game it might as well be the end of the world for me, more so than today btw, LOL.
LOL bay…. And they say we never disagree……haha
