Only two of the 11 players listed on the Broncos’ Friday injury report are not probable for Sunday’s game — fullback Chris Gronkowski and guard Chris Kuper.
Gronkowski is questionable with a hamstring injury and Kuper is doubtful with a head/ankle injury. Head Coach John Fox specified after practice why a head injury was added to what was originally an ankle problem for Kuper.
“He’s got some migraine symptoms that we’re evaluating,” Fox said.
Fox also talked about how the team has managed when players have had to miss games.
“This game’s about staying healthy and injuries are part of this game every week, all season,” he said. “You deal with them. We’ve had a ‘Next-man-up’ philosophy. We’ve got a lot of guys that have stepped in and done a terrific job so good for them. Right now, we’re relatively healthy considering we’re second-to-the-last regular season game and that’s all good.”
