Any update on McGahee’s injury? Think we better grind down Moreno for as long as he’ll last.

  2. strandoftds82 says:

A work in progress, we lost 2 games by a total of six points. Lots to build on. And McCoy has to go, he’s in Peyton Mannings way.

  3. strandoftds82 says:

Far too many drops by our WR’s. And DT’s head was not in the game at all. Gotta catch those passes. As for the Defense, Moore has to go also, he flat out stinks! Put in Q as our other Safety and quick.

  4. strandoftds82 says:

Lastly, did you all see the teams in the AFC with 2-1 records. Jets, Bills, and Bengals are posers. The Chargers are average at best and the elite, Ravens and Texans. I’m not overly concerned for our season as of yet. There’s room for improvement. We got beat by two undefeated teams. We got to play a full 60 minutes of sound football. We got to eliminate mistakes. Give the keys to Peyton Manning and let him play his game.
    1. Jets
    2. Bills
    3. Bengals
    4. Chargers
    5. Ravens
    6. Texans 3-0

So… Rumor that the NFL wants to suspend Mays for his hit on Schaub. I’m pretty upset about it because 1) He hit him in an awkward place, but it was malicious per se, ever see wrong place wrong time? I just don’t thin Mays is a guy to all out try and kill the QB for real. 2) He took responsibility for it and apologized. 3) The Broncos are being made an example of and it infuriates me. We are not the Lions, our guys do not have a malicious bone in their bodies and it’s ridiculous. I’ve seen QBs take hits worse than that and all the player got was a fine, why are we being made examples of? You’ve got to tell me that there was not another questionable hit on a QB this weekend for me to believe that Mays is the only one who made a mistake. I’m upset.

  6. tlcat06 says:

    *not malicious

  7. tlcat06 says:

Strand, thanks for the stats. I’m good with us where we’re at. Jets have a round time without Revis and the Bills haven’t plays the Jets or the Patriots yet. The Bengals haven’t played the Steelers (who aren’t the same without Polamalu) or the Ravens. We’ve got to win on Snday and the boys know that, and they’re not taking it lightly.

  8. tlcat06 says:

    *rough not round

  9. tlcat06 says:

@PostBroncos: MT @NateKreckman: Caldwell on reax in film room after Decker slide: “It got real quiet in there. Coach said a few things I can’t repeat.”

  10. strandoftds82 says:

Just a heads up Cat. I’m not going to press the panic button just yet. LOL

  11. strandoftds82 says:

That slide by Decker was a big no no. He had other options to maneuver to. A stupid move actually.

  12. Bronco_Turtle says:

Texans lined up and Beat the Broncos in every aspect of that football game… They are all paid professionals and sometimes teams are just better than others; The Texans are better than the Broncos right now. Have you ever seen a game where we had a +2 Turnover differential and forced a Safety and were still soundly man handled? I don’t remember watching that sound of a whooping for many years. Glad we made it close in the end but we really did just get beat, plain and simple…

No Biggie, Gotta win this week… No more letting the Faiders beat us in our House. Makes me sick and I’m tired of it happening!

PUM PUM PUM LET’S GO BRONCOS!!

  13. shivedog says:

I agree, to be considered a top receiver at this level Decker’s got to try and get those extra tough yards. He had room to catch and run a few extra steps before getting any contact. Hopefully the running game will be more effective against the raiders and open up some passing lanes. We have a brutal first half schedule and I had us at 3-3 going into the bye week and finishing up 10-6 to win the division or get a wild card.
I believe Peyton will continue to improve every week and build some continuity with Decker, DT, Dreeesen and Tamme. He definitely has it going with Stokely. D has got to reduce the number of big plays and do a better job of getting of the field on key 3rd downs.

  14. strandoftds82 says:

I still have my faider hater t-shirt I bought back during the latter years of Elway. I’ll be sporting it this week. LOL

  15. Orange_Crusher says:

The NFL we once knew and loved is going to heck in a hand basket…

Roger Goodell is not the right guy for the NFL comish job, imho…

Does anyone remember players and coaches getting suspended and fined all the time? Where and when did this kind of dictatorship begin in the NFL?

I remember coaches yelling at the refs all the time and it was never any big deal…

Now days you could be fined 30 thousand bucks if you mention to Goodells insta-refs how bad they missed a call..
    .
In my days you could actually hit and tackle the QB and try to knock the ball out of their hand… yes really… I know, it must sound weird to the younger fans….

Now days you get suspended for tackling them like they were actually NFL football players! You know, like the other 21 men on the field during game time….

I would like to see Goodell put on a football helmet and try to just give a hug to another person with a helmet on and see how hard it is not to touch hats! It’s almost impossible to make a tackle without bumping helmets, not to mention you can’t tackle their knees either since Tom Brady got his boo-boo and cried wee, wee, wee…..ughh!

I GOT NEWS FOR YOU GOODELL!!!!! YOU’RE NOT MAN ENOUGH TO LEAD THE REAL NFL!!!

QUIT TRYING TO MAKE THIS A SISSY LEAUGE JUST LIKE YOU, A BIG SISSY!!!!

QB’S ARE FOOTBALL PLAYERS YOU IDIOT!

YOU ARE RUINING OUR GAME! LET THE COACHES TELL THE REFS HOW THEY FEEL!

LET THE PLAYERS TACKLE THE GUY WITH THE FRIGGIN FOOTBALL!

QUIT SUSPENDING AND FINNING EVERYONE LIKE YOU’RE THE PRINCIPAL OF THE MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!

SPEND A FEW OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS THE NFL HAS AND GO GET THE REAL REFS BACK IN THE GAME YOU CHEAPSKATE!!!

I WISH ROGER GOODELL WOULD TAKE AN EARLY RETIREMENT FROM THE NFL AND GO BE THE COMMINISHONER OF THE LADIES SYNCRONISED SWIMMING LEAUGE!!!

He would probably change that sport all around and start finning the ladies for swimming to violently….sheesh

    Okay, I feel better now……..

  16. Orange_Crusher says:

Could anyone imagine how many players would have been fined and suspended for hitting Elway during his NFL career?

I’m positive Derrick Thomas would have been suspended every year!!!

  17. sndvl says:

Wow. That’s all I have for this game.

I’m actually pretty upset. We pay good money for directv. And the crap they pulled yesterday was NOT COOL.

So. The game was nationally televised. So it was blacked out on the game channel. But what does the National Channel do? Shows the OT game between two 0-2 teams. NO & KC. As if that wasn’t bad enough. After that garbage was over, they switched to the Mia-NYJ game. So by the time they even got to our game, just in time to see Arian catch that TD. Missed the entire 1st quarter.

I will say I was impressed with Harris making plays all over the field and when Champ, falling down, reached out with his hand to knock that potential TD out of AJ’s hands… All Pro.

Maybe this week there is an edge in practice. Focus guys. It’s been awhile since we’ve beat our arch rival at home. This year we have to get it done.
    FOCUS.

    Broncos Country Strong 2012!

  18. sndvl says:

I see that Fox & JDR were both fined for last Mondays actions against the refs.

Well belicheat grabbed an official last night. I’m curious to see how that one will play out…

  19. Orange_Crusher says:

Man Sndvl, I got screwed yesterday also! I was soo mad! The game was supposed to be on at 2:25 on the same channel as the KC game and when it went into overtime we had to sit through all of that while the Bronco game was supposed to be on!

Then to make things even worse, when the KC game finally ended they switched to the stupid Jets game and I had to watch that overtime game until it ended!!!!

They finally turned the Bronco game on at 10:20 left in the second quarter. I am still soo pissed off about it that I want to fire the cable company or whomever is to blame!!! I want to FIRE someone!!!

I WANT TO FIRE ROGER GOODELL!!! IT WAS PROBABLY HIS FAULT!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!

  20. tlcat06 says:

Belly better be fined at least $60,000 and suspended one game

  21. tlcat06 says:

    OC I love you man. That rant was freakin unbelievably awesome. I agree, fine Mays, but he does not deserve suspension. He is not Suh. He apologized immediately after the game. Try to get the Texans and Broncos to hate each other and it’s not going to happen. Just saying. They’re our little brothers (;

  22. tlcat06 says:

The same thing happened to me, but I’m blaming Tebow. I’ve NEVER been taken to a second over time game. For any reason. And i dont think it happens unless its the Jets. I was irate after they pulled that crap. I’m going to be paying attention next time there’s an OT game… Never have they done that. Ever. And I watch every game.

  23. strandoftds82 says:

    new blog

  24. sndvl says:

Wow. That happened in Wyoming too? I thought it was because of the Chicago affiliate. Idk. That has to be changed.

I mean I don’t understand what the significance of those two teams playing in OT was that they HAD to show it. Makes no sense to me. Directv needs to be aware of that….
