Thomas lookes great. Orton looked great. Orton will have to play great all the time cuz we can't run the ball. Jets were #1 rushing ly (zone blocking). Atlanta was #1 rushing 2yrs ago (zone blocking)Look at Houston last week (zone blocking) get the idea.

yes, the talk was that he never really ran routes in college, so as far asa adapting to the NFL, he was already a big farther behind than a regular wr who ran routes in college. Ergo his route running was his greatest hill to over come...

Thanks for the clarification Greatness007. Listened to it yesterday evening after getting home from the stadium. To exhausted to focus...Lol.

There was some conversation in reference to Thomas not knowing his route tree, with bay and a couple others bloggers. Don't recall you chiming on on that conversation.

lol @ limited route running. McD said he was limited in the plays not in a roll in the game plan. He did not have to be out their 65 plays. We have some many weapons at WR. Not cuz he can't run certain routes. WOW

Great game yesterday!! ...was there as well in NW corner of the stadium!!
The excitement and electricity could be felt in the air!! Had a great time at the Broncos Barn...pre-game fesitvities!!

Kyle Orton did an awesome job of running the Offense yesterday. Way to go KO!! Great to see Moreno run with so much heart, on the the flare pass, when he took it for 45 yds! Keep up the great effort Moreno!!
J.D Walton is a beast a Center!

My man Eddie had a great game! Way to go Eddie Royal!!
I'm sure he loved the chants of "EDDIE, EDDIE"!!!

Great to see our D gets some turnovers to stop a few Seahawk drives. Wayt to Bailey, Dawk, and Cox!!
Jarvis Moss recorded his first sack of the year.

Oh man, when Coach McD brought in Demaryious, fans went crazy!! What a debut for Thomas! He sure got everyone on their feet with his first catch on the WR screen! Boy- is he gonna be an exciting player to watch!
As Coach McD said in his postgame last night, " a limited menu as far the route running", but like I said a few weeks ago, just a few routes to contribute to the TEAM effort is all we need, which is what he did yesterday. He made a great move on the 'hawks DB who fell flat on his face, and Demaryious caught his first TD right in front of us in the NW corner !! I'm still pumped from the game action and of course very hoarse...lol. I know it was only our first home game, but it was great win!!

GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!

Excuse the earlier typos. Bay McD ran the ball 35 times. It's a priorty that he wants improved. I know team that would have just stopped doing it no matter if they were up. IE the Colts, Saints, and Cowboys. We just seem to fumble or have a break down in the line. I would get frustrated too and throw like he does sometimes. It will pick up once our line is complete. Especially Hocstein getting pushed back every run play.

MANIAC

I look forward to my first game in denver. Would also like Jacobs but i doubt he wants to be part of a commitee which is what it looks like we are forming over here. Bucky is used up as well. I believe this is his last season with us. But with the Aquisition of Maroney, excatly what are we going to offer? our picks are pretty precious and we already lost one. I think its too late to talk Brandon Jacobs. Only way Jacobs plays for us is if he is getting close to the same amount of carries as moreno. We talking Moreno 25, Jacobs 20. But with Buck and Moreno, just too much going on in our backfield.

THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! The games are even better when you're there! I was in the south endzone, 39 rows up. I saw Champ sky out for his interception. I saw Buckhalter and Moreno's TD runs. It was really hot, too. About 30-40 degrees higher than here in Montana. I love Denver. It's an awesome city. As far as analyzing the game goes, I loved the spread among the receivers. That's good. I wish Moreno ran with more power. He's good at avoiding tackles, but not at breaking them. I think acquiring Jacobs would be an excellent idea, although I doubt he'd be pleased with his role on the team. I hate to say it, but Buckhalter looks like he may have used up what was left in his tank last year. Maybe he'll improve with time, but if he doesn't I'd like to see a younger RB get more playing time. Our D-line has a long way to go still, and our LBs could do better do. The fact that Dawkins had the most tackles on the team tells me that the Seahawks got to the second level too much. The defense needs to tackle better, too. Britton Colquitt's punting was great. I don't like McDaniels' playcalling in the redzone. It's like he suddenly becomes completely unwilling to take a downfield shot (not that he does that often anyway, but in the redzone it's even worse). And running up the middle doesn't work very well with our RBs. Overall, a great performance, but there is still a lot that could be done better.
