I ll drink to that game today

  17. ScalptheChiefs says:

Thank you Broncos for putting a solid 60 minutes together, even though it was only the Raiders it was still very good to see. The best part, there is still things we can correct in that game to look even better!!!

  18. CARAMELLOO says:

I think the D did ok! I mean they are suppose to get after the QB when we have a lead. Like Scalp said above… there are some things we need to correct before we head to New England next week.

  19. canadasbroncfan says:

how bad do the jets think tebow is when they wouldnt put him in when they were getting routed. wow

  20. tlcat06 says:

Sorry, no team since 2007 has been able to beat the Raiders at home. Patience is paying off and we needed that today. Big time. Peyton Manning is a surgeon. I am so so so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. tlcat06 says:

How about David Bruton blocking that punt?!?!? Wowsa!!!!!!

  22. tlcat06 says:

Demaryius made up for his mistake, but I still cannot believe he did that.

  23. CARAMELLOO says:

David Bruton is a stud on ST. So glad we kept him

  24. wolfedom says:

I thik we has a real good game today. Peyton was super and the d came on in the second quarter. I bet DT won’t make that mistake again and I hope Fox learned why you don’t have a kicker throw a pas.

  25. wolfedom says:

Peyton has over 600 yrds in the last two games, I believe. Not bad for an old man with a broke neck and weak arm.

  26. tlcat06 says:

Wolfe, I agree. People who think he can’t be effective enough to win for us are crazy!!! he has put up crazy numbers and today he was sharp, sharp, sharp!!!

  27. wolfedom says:

We are going to have to be on top of our game next week. New England looked really good today also. Hopefully we get Kuper back and Mays, we’re going to need everybody on board. I hate listening to the talking heads on NFL network talking about the old man Peyton who is still very rusty. I wonder what game they were watching today.

  28. monsterbronco says:

what a game! other than the DT fumble did we look good or what, such a change from tebow last year

  29. WestSlopeBronco says:

Woohoo. Now I have huge bragging rights over one of my best friends who is sadly a raiders fan. Great game from the entire team. Lets go dominate the patriots next week!!!

  33. baylinorcrush says:

There is no better team than to put a whooping on the Raiders!

    Absolutely awesome! Thank you.

  34. wolfedom says:

I’m with ya Bay. Couldn’t happen to a better team.

  35. louisianabroncofan says:

hey wolfe who on earth said manning was rusty AFTER watching him today? that cant be right. thats insane. manning is 100% manning and we are gonna be a terror to opposing defenses more and more each week. just like many of us said from the beginning, he will be the dominant qb he always was and it may take a few games but we would be a stellar team come about game 6. and by game 6- stellar we will be! i really hope the anti manning and anti ‘picking up manning in the offseason’ crowd finally eats the crow that has been served and moves on appreciating the great pickup he was and the excellent job elway is doing instead of berating the unberatable (if thats even a word). not trying to sound mean or negative towards that crowd i truly hope as fellow bronco fans they now see the light that is right in their eyes. i hope theres no more negativity because this is a good team well on its way to at least a few great years at qb. on a side note, tebow again did NOTHING today. just sayin. surely at the very least the ‘we shoulda kept tebow’ crap will stop. surely….

  36. OrangeTsunami says:

MUCH better play calling today! We dominated the time of possession and we had a balanced offensive attack, but the best thing on offense was the screen passes and CHECK DOWNS!!!

  37. louisianabroncofan says:

ya good point bay. how absolutely awsome was it to beat the sh#$ outta the raiders. i mean there is NOTHING better than that. i cant wait to do it again to them in their stadium. but for now lets just get in and take out the patriots, a feat i think we can do easily. manning should have another big day against them. of course brady may have a field day with our d but a shootout is ok as long as we win it!!

  38. louisianabroncofan says:

ya tsunami the screen passes are a great weopon for us. we execute those to perfection. i wish thomas would stop with the boneheaded plays. drops, fumbles, and bad decisions are killing him. he could be a top wr in the league but he has got to play smarter and better. no more mistakes dt!!

  39. killerkod says:

Will have more to say tomorrow but I gotta hit the hay.

Just wanted to say how proud I was watching this team execute their gameplan today. It was absolutely a thing of beauty.

    Go Broncos!!

  40. OrangeTsunami says:

Too bad about Walton, looks like he’s done for the season.. But we are getting Kuper back soon, and the Koppen signing was brilliant IMO.

  41. sndvl says:

    Beating these guys was good.
2nd largest margin of victory against them was great. (Since 1962)
Opening drive of the game was a long time coming, including the home victory…

    Broncos Country Strong 2012!

  42. OrangeTsunami says:

Both Thomas and Decker are young, and have both made mistakes, but I have no doubt that they are learning from their mistakes and will be better as a result. They need time, but they are both on the cusp of being great WR’s. Thomas had a great block on Decker’s TD, which doesn’t make the stat sheet.

  43. louisianabroncofan says:

very true tsunami. excellent block. endless potential for dt, we’ll see how far he takes it. dt has the tools to be even better than decker if he meets that potential, and decker could be great. so if they both reach full potential then the skys the limit for our #1 and #2 recievers. add manning to that and talk about a nightmare for opposing defenses! I too hate to see walton go down but koppen will actually i think be even better than walton. koppen doesnt have a long time left in the nfl but he’ll be good this year for sure so like you said we made a brilliant move bringing him in. when kuper comes back, we should be very good on the oline.

  44. OrangeTsunami says:

I personally was very encouraged by seeing Hillman get involved toady. I must admit, I was beginning to have my doubts about him, but feel much better now that we saw him in real game action. I really hope Peyton continues to take what the defense gives him, and checks down, as Hillman could be great in the open field on a dump pass IMO.

  45. OrangeTsunami says:

Agreed lbf. We still have a few things to clean up, but when we get things firing on all cylinders it should be a thing of beauty. Today’s win was against the Raiders, so we have to keep it all in perspective. Next week will be a huge test on the road..

  46. CARAMELLOO says:

I agree about Hillman! I think he can truly be our Darren Sprolles as he continue to get his feet wet. I really wasn’t mad at DT’s fumble for one reason…. He was trying to do the right thing and switch the ball to the outside arm like he’s suppose to. We have a lot of potential with him and Decker. I was proud at the way we kept Mcfadden contained. I just hope our D is ready for the pass happy Pats!!

  47. wolfedom says:

We are going to need some work on the Prater to Beadles connection. What was Fox thinking? Just cost us a field goal but in a different game could be huge. I think DT felt as bad as anyone and won’t make that mistake again. Overall a great victory and lets hope it continues.

  48. strandoftds82 says:

Here’s a funny stat, Colquitt didn’t even have a single punt in this game. Easy money for him. HaHa!!
