You DRAFT guys that are tough, guys that WANT to lead. Your defensive linemen are supposed to be nasty, disliked by the media and called dirty buy opposing teams. Eb is about the only guy we have that fits that description and his best days are gone. We need a middle backer that scares anyone from sitting in the middle of the field waiting to catch the ball. Am I the only one that remember Al Wilson DESTROYING Troy Brown just a few seasons ago when he tried to catch a pass in the middle of the field? We don't have any safeties or lb's that fit that description.

I'm not embarrassed as a fan, if I were a player then I'd be embarrassed. That performance was ugly. We obviously did not play well on both sides of the ball, pretty much the story of the season so far. I'm just going to stop hoping that we start playing better. Every time it looks like we know what we're doing and playing well we fall apart.

It isn't the draft that causes this. It is the players, the lack of leadership, the lack of toughness, the lack of the will to fight to win, the lack of intensity, the lack of pride. We have been fortunate with some of latest drafts like many have said.

I'm not sure what is up with Shanny. I'm not going to say fire him but I do think that something needs to happen. Maybe Shanny should start calling the plays or something, I don't know. I do know that this season has been a little disturbing. With all the injuries the inconsistency I'm 25 but my heart probably thinks that I'm 75 with the way the season has been turning out.

I'm not going to say the season is over by all means. I really want us to make it to post-season play. I also want us to get healed up, get some leadership, some intensity, for god sake, get hungry to win and be awesome next season. I'm not saying this season is lost, I just want next season to be better, obviously.

Go Broncos!!!!

RSH, one or 2 good drafts do not make up for 13 other average to bad ones. How's the draft from 2 years ago working out for us? That Jarvis Moss sure is a sack master huh? No one can stop Tim Crowder, except the bench and I guess Marcus Thomas is a BEAST? My GOD, how many DT's have more INT's than sacks in the NFL? It's a JOKE! So no, you DRAFT BETTER PLAYERS and you get better results. You ever wonder why teams like the Steelers, Patriots and Colts stay on top? Check the drafts they have. You add free agenst that work to your teams strengths, in 3 years we've added ONE that's worked out....and Shanny calls those shots too.

story of the season so far is that we beat the teams who 'experts' expect to beat us and lose to the teams who we should beat.. we play to the level of our competition, which is a part of being inexperienced, they'll grow out of it and be the team we know they can be

Have better drafts hrdnokd? Denver has had some excellent drafts recently with Cutler, Scheffler, Marshall, Dumervil, Clady, Royal, Hillis, Larsen, etc. As Broncomania56 pointed out this team is very young (as a result of such draft picks) and got a little full of itself before playing Oakland at home. The loss was inexcusable, but saying that having "better drafts" would have kept Denver from losing this one is an incorrect analysis.

Its on the coaching staff when your team is unprepared and doesn't show up to play. Im not calling for Shanahan's job (yet), but I seriously think his best coaching days are behind him. Or maybe he was just lucky to have Hall of Famers on his previous teams to make him look good. Either way a fire needs to be lit under this team and by letting Shanahan think he's untouchable isn't a good way of doing it. Come on, 3 Defensive Coordinators in 3 years?? and at this rate looks like 4. At some point he's not going to be able to blame others and put it on himself. Just remember, Shanahan has the final say on everything that happens on this team and if he can't pull this team together then the organization needs to move on.

Shanny you need to do something there guy, LIKE HAVE BETTER DRAFTS. The entire D line looks awful out there, no one gets pressure, no one stops the run. I mean my goodness we are the very definition of BAD. How about if we STOP rotating guys in at LB every other freaking play and BLITZ every now and again BESIDES 3rd and longs?

This loss was absolutely humiliating for the fans. Unfortunately we do not make that big of a difference on the field. The Broncos have proven that by winning two straight on the road. Unfortunately, this team is young, and I believe gets a little cocky when they taste success. Remember Young Broncos this is the NFL, you have to show up and play every week. You have to have a game plan and execute it.

Unfortunately a sad fact is that if we fumble on the first drive it sets the tempo on how our offense plays. The defense if left out on the field to long will surely fall apart. The formula is as simple as this. Stick to the basics offense, take what the defense will give you, put together long drives and score on every drive, TD's or FG's (TD's preferred). If the offense gives the defense something to protect they seem to play better. Our Defense is in far worse shape than the offense (injuries). Above all else, play every game like your jobs/life depends on it. Shanahan is not the reason this team is loosing, it's the players execution of the play calling.

The coaching staff is putting these guys in the right places to make plays, unfortunately the plays are not being made. Mike Shanahan does not pass, kick, punt or tackle. This was a team loss. I believe they were looking ahead and lost site of who was in front of them. That is a sure way to get your butt kicked on sunday's. Even if it's against the Raiders. Records are out the window in big rival games like this. Did the Broncos think that the Raiders did not revenge on their minds? Did they think the Raiders were going to show up and lye down for them? Apparently so, as for the results of that game plan, speaks for itself. Guys this team has some growing to do, Needs a new defensive line and a new attitude. There is plenty of talent, they need to find there hearts to go with it.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, and GO Broncos Beat the JETS!!!!!!!

Just like twice before. We play a team that is struggling and we think we can just walk in and take a win. MIA and KC were the same way. We thought we could just take a win and nope. Happens every time. Well it's a good thing IND beat SD. So we can still stay two games up. I really thought our team was changing for the better. After watching that game I don't know if we have.

Lots of so-called Broncos "fans" out on the great World Wide Web and elsewhere are demanding Mike Shanahan be fired. Columnists like Mark Kizla of The Denver Post only fuel such "fans'" desire.

My response? Go ahead, run Mike Shanahan out of town, it will be to your own demise. The minute the Broncos cut Shanahan lose, the Chargers will hire him and with the talent San Diego has on the offensive side of the ball, Shanahan will terrorize the Broncos for years to come. Mr. Kizla and all those calling for Shanahan's head, who are you going to bring in to replace be head coach? Bill Cowher? Not a chance. Cowher will go somewhere that will give him complete control and huge bucks, most likely Cleveland. So, who else is out there? Jim Fassel, is that who you want?

Losing to Oakland at home by three touchdowns was as humiliating as it gets. It was inexcusable. Denver just isn't that good especially on defense. Those who were expecting a Super Bowl, obviously, forgot this was a rebuilding year and young teams like this one will do what they did Sunday from time to time. But hey, if the Broncos want to fire Shanahan, go ahead, but I will be the first to say, it will be a mistake and will come back to haunt the franchise for years to come.
