we will go into the bye at 4-4 and we still have a chance at a good season IMO, unless SD steps up again, only Houston and Kansas City are the only teams we should struggle with.
Denver played great, Knowshon made a huge difference in the running game, the D looked good even without 3/4 of our secondary, and the Tebow package was surprisingly successful. We have proven we can play with the best in the league. If we don't play down to the other teams level, we shouldnt lose another game this season. Play good mistake free football and we will be fine!

TRB, "It is very cheap to just throw it up and hope for a pass interference so that u can just skip down the field with no effort but those are the rules." Did you call it cheap when Orton did the same thing to win the Tennessee game? LOL.

To tell the truth, while I am devastated by the loss. I liked the broncos I saw yesterday, from coaching to game play. The play calls werent predictable, we got tebow in there and revived our running game, our defense threw some complex blitz and forced ints and turnovers, we were way less sloppy yesterday than in the past couple of weeks and despite the loss, I can honestly say, I really enjoyed watching that game. Sure a win woulda been better but it is what it is.

The part that hurt me most wasn't that we lost, it was how we lost. I was yelling. LET THEM GET THE FG just dont let them get the TD. Because I believed we can move the ball down the field but scoring is our problem so we woulda been able to get back into FG range for the game winner (and I trust prater)....Instead, Cox jumped on the short route, holmes took off and all that was left with holmes was a safety. It is very cheap to just throw it up and hope for a pass interferance so that u can just skip down the field with no effort but those are the rules. I am just disheartened that we lost without playing till the whistle blew because of that stupid fumble...I personally thought it was time to bring tebow in the game and since he had run all game, do a play action, and let the rookie take a shot down field...he has the arm for it plus the PA fake out.

Also the drive b4 Tomlinsons first TD was our fault. We knew we sucked at the run but ran it twice and passed on 3rd down. We shoulda kept pushing it. We switched from playing to win, to playing not to lose and we ended up losing because I was saying, 7 point lead and 8mins left is not enough to beat the jets but we were being conservative. All in all good game. Expected us to be at 2-4 by this time in the year.

And to all those like me that have been asking for tebow, asking for creative and unpredictable plays...even tho we didn't win, you should be as happy as I am that McDaniels is learning that if something doesn't work, try something else, and thats a step in the right direction because we were looking like a playoff team for a while. All we can do now is move forward in the right direction. Go Broncos. TRB out...

Not even sure what to say. We had this win. They kept it so close and I applaud them for not letting the Jets get so far ahead that it would be next to impossible for us to catch up. Instead, the Broncos kept their enemy close and put up a good fight, till the end. I was sure we would win this game but that PI penalty on Hill blew it and then the fumble at the end was the icing on the cake.

After the game I was completely speechless, still not sure what to think about this. Pains me even more to think we could've stood out in our division and could've ended up right on KC's tail at 3-3. From the highlights I had to watch, when the Jets were at our 2 at the end, our defense didn't even try to stop Tomlinson. That one penalty ruined the whole game. This was a devastating loss on many levels but its more disappointing than anything. They could have fought harder in the first quarter and especially at the end. That's where a team needs to give it their all. Maybe I forgot to mention that a team needs to fight to the very end. You play, you put all you have on the line till that clock says 0:00. I'm actually surprised at this loss. But time to move on... crush, squish, kill, obliterate & demolish those stupid Raiders.

Oh and congrats to Tebow for his first official NFL TD. So I guess McD decided to stick his foot in his mouth... last time I checked he said they weren't going to use Tebow for run plays. For once, I'm glad he changed his mind. lol... this team is definitely #1 in the league at be unpredictable. Kudos for that.

Season isn't over till it's over my friend, have some faith Bronco Country...
GO BRONCOS in 2010!!!!!

Well I for one was devestated after the loss!!! I couldn't even bare to blogg!!
It hurt I am no longer mad at the team or really at MCD/ I can't tell if it is beyond that or just over it.
I guess I am officially a coolaid drinker or what I can't say???
I just know there is no way we should have lost that gamewe were Crushing them in the first quarter and they scored first. Inexcusable ablsolutly Inexcuseable good teams do not do that.
We are not a good team yet but I actualy do see hope. A light at the end of the tunnel.

I think these next few games will really go a long way as to how this season is going to go.
I still think we can win the division in a verry weak division. will we win a playoff game??? I think we have already proved that!!!
I will think about it a bit more and blogg more this eavening.
Devesstateing!!!!

It like the entire game when the opponent is trying to force the knife into our heart we're fighting and managing not to get stabbed. Then as the game wears on we start to loosen our grip and just when we think we have the knife shifted away...we let it slip and it stabs us right in the heart. That's what it felt like yesterday..getting stabbed in the heart with a dull and rusty knife.

I'm sure it's been stated in here over and over but to get 3 turnovers, recover an onside kick and only get 3 points out of those is crushing. I don't know how many other people saw this stat yesterday that we rank 2nd in the league in getting in the red zone but we are like 26th when it comes to scoring points or touchdowns........not going to win many ball games if you can't score from 20 yards out. Other then the Tennessee game this was our best game of the year.............for 3 quarters. We had this game won and then gave it to the Jets.

Passing Game: I like the deep balls, we are throwing more of those than we did last year but can we mix in a slant or screen?

I don't really have any other negatives as there were more positives I believe than negatives. Must win game next weekend vs. the Faiders. It would be nice to be 4-4 heading into the BYE.

As I look at the schedule now I'm seeing a 9-7 finish which could be good enough for a Division Championship but not a Wild Card.

Get healthy boys and let's go get em!

So did anybody else see the stat that we have allowed 35 fourth quarter points, most in the NFL. Well tack on the 14 yesterday and Houston we have a problem. So much for hoping not to see a late season collapse, when we have trouble even finishing a game.

Devastating. 3 turnovers and an onside kick- 3 points??? 2 missed FGs and a fumble that could have gotten us another chance for at least 3. Bad snaps, stupid penalties and I'm left wondering what the HILL happened yesterday.
For all the good that happened yesterday, it doesnt change the fact we lost. When it seemed a forgone conclusion for a W
We have a MUST win game this week. We lose this one and ugh, I don't even want to think about that.

Get Healthy, GO BRONCOS!! Obliterate Oakland
