15:00 We start the final frame with the Jets having the ball at their 36-yard line, first-and-10. Dewayne Robertson puts down his former teammate Thomas Jones for a short carry on first down. Favre rolls out of the pocket on second down and throws the ball away. Third-and-eight… Favre stands tall in the pocket and hits Chansi Stuckey for the first down at midfield. Another Bronco is down, this time Marquand Manuel.
Manuel made the big hit on Stuckey, but he seems to have gotten the worst of the hit.
14:01 First-and-ten at the Broncos 46-yard line. Josh Barrett has replace Manuel. First down bubble-screen to Stuckey nets the Jets seven yards. Favre hands to Jones on second down, but he is met by Wesley Woodyard. Third-and-three… the ball skips incomplete to Jerricho Cotchery.
Fourth down and the Jets are going for it. Favre goes deep, but Cotchery can’t make the grab. Nice play by Karl Paymah to knock the ball away as they were coming down. Broncos ball at their 40-yard line.
Good news, Falcons have beat the Chargers 22-16.
12:10 After a reception by Scheffler for nine yards, Hillis picks up the first down inside Jets territory. That carry puts Hillis over 100 yards.
10:30 Back-to-back carries by Hillis and the Broncos are facing a third-and-two. Tatum Bell is in and stands to the left of Cutler. Cutler rolls and hits a wide open Brandon Stokley for a touchdown. Great play call and great pass by Cutler as he rolled right and found Stokley from 36-yards out. Prater nails the point after and the Broncos have doubled up the Jets.
Broncos 34 – Jets 17, 9:26 remaining.
9:21 Jets will start their drive at their own 40-yard line. A short gain, two incompletions and it is fourth down. On comes the punt unit. Royal is back deep for the Broncos.
8:30: Broncos start at the 15-yard line. Expect to see a lot of Hillis as the Broncos try to close this one out. In fact, he takes the first carry for five yards and the second carry for three. Third-and-two… delayed blitz by the Jets and the ball falls short. Out comes Kern.
6:53: Another nice kick by Kern, Washington waves it off, but then fields it. Broncos don’t fall for it, and stop Washington at the 34-yard line.
6:43: First down and Favre goes deep. Looks for Laveranues Coles but Josh Bell is there to knock it away. Jets are facing a third-and-three after a short completion to Washington. Nevermind, the referees call a late penalty on Paymah and the Jets have a first down.
5:40: Jets are moving the ball down the field and have the ball at the Broncos 35-yard line. Favre hits Coles who gets the first down. Jets are in the hurry up.
5:00: Favre fires for the endzone, but Bell and Vernon Fox are there to knock it away. Second down at the 30, and the Jets start a little fast and are flagged. Second-and-15… Favre shows off the gun and hits Keller, who may have to have the ball surgically removed from his chest. Third down and Favre hits Keller again for a first down.
3:50: Brad Smith takes the bubble-screen to the two-yard line. Hurry up offense, but another Bronco is down. It is Barrett… these injuries are getting old. Hopefully they are nothing serious. Barrett is up and walks off the field. Speaking of injuries, Ekuban is back in.
3:31: Favre fires in the endzone for Keller, but it is knocked away by Winborn. Second-and-goal, Favre in the gun and throws quick to Coles. But he is tackled just as quick by Bly. Third-and-goal and Favre throws it away.
2:48: Jets go for it on fourth down… Favre fires but Bell knocks it away and the Broncos take over. Nice job by the defense.
2:36: Hillis carries several Jets and gets the first down. That will probably take us to the two-minute warning… and it does. Two minutes until the Broncos go 7-5 and take a three game lead in the AFC West.
2:00: Ahhh my favorite play in football. Victory formation.
The clock will run out on this one. The Broncos fight the weather and arguably the hottest team in football and come away with a huge 34-17 win. They move to 7-5 and are three games up on the Chargers.
Talk to you all next week.

has anyone else noticed that hillis only has on fumble and that came at the hand off that wasn’t from when he was running and got it stripped out, and does anyone know why, because if you noticed in tonights game he tucks it with two hands when he has someone on his back, our d still needs to play better and we of course need to tackle better that was a really bad site, vernon fox did a great job at saftey other then that first long run but he is a solid tackler, as for barret he did good for when he was in their but i still need more games to say if he is the real deal or not, i mean come on bronco fans we can’t always think someone with one or two good plays is the next hall of famer, granted he may be good and he played descent but i am sure their were some mess ups that barret had in this game that as fans we didn’t notice because it didn’t lead to a touchdown, and that sam thing goes for the fans that think just becuase a player messes up on one or two plays doesn’t mean he is the worst player ever so with that being said lets first let the guys do their job and see if they can produce before we start calling for their heads or before we start saying their the greatest to walk the earth…. running game was amazing and i think it was maybe in the second quarter or maybe the third but after not running the playaction roll out pass for all game the first time we did cutler ran to his right and not one defensive player read it they all went for the run and i think he completed the pass to graham for 6 or 7 yards but none the less that is how we should do it not run the playaction over and over and over or not just straight pass over over and over everything the broncos do on offense usually is set up from the play before, like the d thought we were passing so their for jenkins was not in the game and bam here comes hillis up the gut hit’en the d in the mouth and then bam play action and how about wide open stokley for the td because the d thought we were gonna go short, amazing play calling. cutler awsome as usual. oh and were are those “fans” that say we should get rid of cutler or all of our d and i think dumerville did pretty good getting pressure on favre with little to no blitzs all day. any how great win, only our second win by more then 4 points then our oppnent this year, but i had a feeling we were gonna come to play this game. and by the way our d stops most running backs except for one or two plays that they take for a big gain there really hasn’t been any running back to consitently gain 7 to 8 yards a carry its been 3 or less for most of the carries and then they get a hug run for a td and that is why we have a pour rushing yards a game. bly needs to play like he did tonight all year long instead of once every few games. but good win and we are a solid three games ahead of the whinney chargers with a running back that is starting to slow up and not be much of a threat(Lt)
where is all the non sayers at? i swear our fans have bipolar disorder haha good damn win boys woodyard stays at rightside move dj to strong side this kid stays on my football field 9 plays out of 10
I dont understand the BRONCOS!!!!!
Great team win!
GO BRONCOS!!!!
Congratulations Mike – a great win for the team.
They have performed magnificently with great heart, courage and strength. Another superhuman effort against all the odds.
Once again Jay has shown that he is a class act and should be going to the pro-bowl.
Go Broncos.
Three thoughts:
1) Ok, we lost to two crappy teams in Oakland and KC. The way I see it, after what I saw today, we are a 9-3 football team with a 7-5 record. We can beat anyone on any given Sunday. Thankfully there will be no crappy teams to lose to in the playoffs. Likely, we will play mostly on road too. This year, this seems like a good thing as well.
2) I think we have found a real weapon in Hillis.
3) Next week, we’re wearing Orange jerseys again to pound on Cheifs (and this time we had better demolish them) just like old times. I love the Orange jerseys. We should always wear orange at home. It does this old Bronco fan’s heart good.
Does anybody know if Larsen is ok???
I’m so proud of my Broncos. Cutler outclassed Favre in every way. Hopefully, Jay will be much better than him when his career ends! He had a magnificent performance today! Now let’s exact vengeance against the Queefs!
I am very proud of this team. Also can you say bye bye Dre Bly next year because Josh Bell is a stud.
Start Barrett V Fox took really bad angles and is not fast.
Beat the whiefs Please,
Dr. Doom, Larsen’s ex-rays were neg.
i dont think bones watched the game one play he read wrong he still scored a touchdown i say barrett is a special teams player for at least another year he isnt good enough get over it
