12:44 PM MDT: It is definitely chilly out there today. Most Broncos that have been out warming up have been in orange toboggans — snow caps, beanies, whatever you want to call them (the bloggers been having a discussion lately as to what you actually call those). Just got back up from the field with some photos, I’ll be putting them up shortly.
12:44 PM MDT: Eddie Royal is going to be inactive for this afternoon’s game. He practiced toward the end of the week, but it looks like the ankle will keep him out of the game today. The rest of the inactives will be coming later.
1:05 PM MDT: Back with pictures from the field:

1:06 PM MDT: The rest of the inactives have been released. Ebenezer Ekuban, Vernon Fox, Erik Pears, Tony Scheffler, Josh Shaw, Ryan Torain and Selvin Young join Eddie Royal on the list of players not dressing out for tonight’s game.
1:08 PM MDT: Darrell Jackson is in the starting lineup in Royal’s place. Michael Pittman is also a starter, taking Young’s spot at running back.
1:10 PM MDT: Just checking some scores around the league, and a few of them stick out. First, Indianapolis is just hammering Baltimore, 31-0. Then two pretty unexpected updates: Detroit is beating Minnesota, 10-9 — and Minnesota’s 9 points don’t come from three field goals, rather a safety and a return touchdown. And St. Louis is beating a Washington Redskins team that has been on fire of late, 13-7.
Two more: the only AFC West team playing in an early game is Oakland, who initially pulled out to a 3-0 lead but has since given up 24 straight points. And the team the Broncos beat last week, Tampa Bay, is out physical-ing a future Broncos opponent, the Carolina Panthers, by the score of 20-3.
1:49 PM MDT: The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders are making their way around the sidelines, and fans are still filtering into their seats as we’re about 15 minutes away from kickoff. The weather has been reported at just above 40 degrees, so it’s not technically freezing, but it still feels plenty chilly out there.
2:01 PM MDT: The Broncos’ defensive starters were introduced as the teams ran out onto the field. In order of introduction, they are John Engelberger, Dewayne Robertson, Marcus Thomas, Elvis Dumervil, D.J. Williams, Nate Webster, Boss Bailey, Champ Bailey, Dre’ Bly, Marlon McCree and Marquand Manuel.
We’re just a few minutes away from kickoff — see you in the first quarter blog.

thanks for the royal update.. i can move him off my fantasy roster
Is D-Jack or Stokley going to be the other starting WR? I hope it is Jackson, let him show us what he can do. His one catch this season went for a TD.
WOW lots of inactives. Tony doesnt suprise me, someone probably coughed on him and now he is hurt. This guy is so sensitive! Eddie Royal dont go down the same road as sheffler and cry over ever little ankle and ingrown toenail that is uncomfortable. Think of the team!!! I know if my ankle hurts I still have to go to work. That which does not kill you only makes you stronger.
maceano.. Tony Scheffler played in pain in the last game against Tampa Bay and the injury got worst in his last catch of the game.
Yeah, besides maceano, your job is probably sitting behind a desk somewhere, not blocking 280 pound defensive ends and outrunning safties with 4.5 speed.
the second someone finds a live feed, please post
