C’mon Baylin I’m a beer man you got something against that????????
Dawkins is the sh??,he can sing it and bring it,I’m so glad he’s on our side, best safety in the league(even at 35).We’ve had some good ones Atwater,Smith,Lynch, but Dawk is the best motivater I’ve ever seen period,we’re lucky we got him!!!!!!!!!!!!GO BRONCOS
Turkey day spelled “DOOMSDAY” for the Giants.Doom dominated again with 2 sacks putting him at 14 for the year,2 shy of the great Simon Fletcher for the club record. You guys remember Fletch,he was a dominator too.I hope Doom gets the NFL record,I think it’s 22.5 ????
BFE92, yeah it’s 22.5 held by Strahan, a Giant of all things. Ok, ok, ok, Moreno did exceed my expectations that’s for sure, but he finally played a whole game like a first RB picked in the draft should, right. He had not done that before, he was playing under those expectations. Yeah, saying I hate him might of been a tat strong, lol, but he really blew my top, just like he did Mashall’s, after that fumble of his Sunday that unraveled the game for us, and remember that was for a two game lead in the divsion, in essence, so he deserved my angst and Marshall’s and let’s hope we don’t have to look at that play later on as the one that ignited us losing the division, if we do. Anyhow, let’s just move on and hope that he and Marshall can keep playing better every week. Remember, I was mad at Marshall too early in the year, lol.
OK,I admit I was kussing Graham, he had like 4 penalties in the 1st half. But overall he had a great game(winning heals all wounds brother).
Yeah and most of them were holding, but he was playing hard and he opened up a lot of lanes for the RB’s. Man, if you really get into this game, you are going to say some nasty stuff here and there, just like McD, and as a fan, I will always have the fire and speak my mind about what I see, that’s just a gimme, love it, live it, give them hell when they deserve it, praise them when they don’t, I’ll always do that. No blind faith fan here, LOL.
Moreno will play like a 1st round pick(I garauntee it). Some players take time to adjust to the NFL,it’s a lot faster game than the college level. But I for one am worried more about our QB more than anything right now, because Orton(which I’ve been knocking for 4 weeks now)is a free agent at years end,and I’m not certain what McD is going to do,resign him or draft a QB,there sure as hell ain’t no QB’s at free agency next year,Orton is at the top of the list of free agent QB’s in the NFL next year.
Say it like it is brother, that’s what I always do.If people don’t like it tough shi?.LOL
Talk smack, and drink cold beer, don’t get much better huh???????????
Don’t know if you saw it but in the predictions results this morning (7:41 am post I think, same blog), you got 4th for your pick.
And I gave myself the shaft, hahahaha!
On the holding call where Moreno got like 20 yards in the 2nd half,I didn’t see any damn hold on Graham,I don’t know about you?????????uub said earlier we went back to zone blocking last night?????????
LMAO
Ok, this is the 2nd time I’m copying and posting that, pay close attention, I talk of the phantom holding:
5) Moreno’s best game of the season, if not for the holding penalty by Graham, which I couldn’t see anyway, Moreno would of added about 30 yards to his total and easily would of gone over 100 for the first time. Superb spin move, hard running, no fumbles.
I’ve been pretty hard on Orton for the past few weeks, but I guess I’m used to seeing Elway sling it down the field 50 or 60 yards,I really think that our receivers made Orton look good last night. The 2 passes to Marshall were over thrown and the TD pass to Stokely, hell I could’ve made that pass he was open for 20 yards.LOL
I agree 100% Moreno showed some great moves last night, but our O-line played a helluva game.
My son is a big Moreno fan so I’ve been kinda overlooking fumbles and missed blocks, but he played a complete game last night.
I like Orton’s attitude more the more I see him, it’s day and night vs. Cutler, he never gets down on himself or more importantly on anyone else. He gives it his best every play, and at this point I am fine with him, he is opening it up, had real throws to Gaffney and Scheffler, I think you might be selling him a bit short, IMO.
That’s the way you roll, BFE92, you did the same thing with Marshall, you overlooked all his crap for what you like in him. I’m a bit different, maybe more demanding, you mess it up you’re in my dog house for a good while, LOL.
Well,he is still young, and has plenty of time to mature in McD’s offense he’s looking better and better. To be honest with you,I didn’t think he was our future, but with a little more experience WHO KNOWS??????????
That’s the difference in Orton and Marshall,I know what Marshall has(I’ve seen it for 2 years) and Orton has still a little to prove.IMO….AND YEAH THAT’S THE WAY I ROLL.WHOOOOOOOAH.LMAO….GO BRONCS
As far as his future with us, we’ll know a lot more by season end, that’s for sure. How did you like it when Marshall ran up to McD after his great first one handed catch? Pretty cool how close these two have become… Unbelievable, if you ask me!
Oh yeah I LOVED IT,did you see where McD said Jesus Christ we’re trying to win a mother fu??ing game here.LOL
I was saying you are overlooking MORENO’s bad just like Marshall’s, not Orton. It’s hard to follow a conversation when we post so fast, because another subject pops up before we’re done with the one we’re talking about. LOL.
Love that in McD, wears his emotions on his sleeve, kind of liberating after waching poker face Shanahan on the side lines for 14 years. LOL.
McD knows Marshall is for real, did you know that Cutler was trying to get Marshall to come to Chicago before Marshall talked to Rod Smith, and straightened him out.
McD is very emotional, which personally I think that’s what it takes to succeed in this league.
I didn’t know that per say, but it makes perfect sense, that’s why Marshall was trying to get out. And Cutler is not a complete idiot, he knows what Marshall did for him, he would of probably paid part of Marshall’s contract to get him in, LOL.
LOL,funny the 2 beer drinkers and Hell raisers are the only 2 left on the blog.LOL
Still nine days to bask in this amazing crushing style win, can’t beat it, I’ll talk to you later friend, I’m out. Night.
God knows he don’t have anyone in Chicago that has half the skills that Marshall or Royal has.LOL
NIGHT FRIEND.
Baylinor
Thanks for the clarification (on Moreno). I thought that’s what your view might have been, but you just kind of threw me for a loop the other day. And yes, I know you call it like you see it, so I just figured you were pissed at him for not coming through. Generally, I read all of your posts all of the time, and I agree with you on most things. BTW I’m in the same over-the-hill-gang as you and BFE92. Do you or anyone else remember John Ralston or Charlie Johnson? When I was in 6th grade, I got to meet Randy Gradishar in person; got his autograph. I also remember Floyd Little, but my favorite RB of all time (until TD came around) was Otis Armstrong. Man what an awesome guy to watch run the ball!
Later, T-Bird
GOOOO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
57′TBIRD, thanks for bringing up the older guys, great memories great players back then, gret legacy.GO BRONCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
12:42 on east coast, damn you guys go to bed early on the weast coast 10:42 or 9:42.
What’s up BFE92? It’s 10:53 here in Wyoming
Two things won the game thursday that was the players only meeting that Brian Dawkins had. What ever was said in that meeting it sure worked. Second was when coach McD had his own meeting with the offense during the game. I personnally was happy to see him getting all over them. He sure changed my mind about him for doing it. I have alot more respect for him, just wish he had done it four games ago. Moreno did some hard running, need to see more of it before I say it was a good move to pick him in the first round of the draft. Like I said acouple of weeks ago, they need to get the TE’s more involved in the game plan. Has anyone heard how Royal is doing? How bad is he hurt?
I wonder how many tempers were flaring and accusations made in that players only meeting. I figure whatever, if anything, it obviously got resolved. If there was some of the blame game going on, they resolved that too. Most of all, whatever was said, it worked. Now the future of this season looks bright once again.
57Yellow T-Bird: Otis Armstrong was a good RB, but didn’t have the heard like Floyd Little. Another oldie but goodie.
Didn’t have the heart, are you kidding? But then again, I was pretty young back then.
Sorry I meant Heart.
I was 19 when & living on own when I really started to pay attention when Floyd Little was running with the ball. I saw one play when the broncos were on the 5 yard line on the north side of the field, he was hit by three players & still drove them into the endzone. Thats why I say Floyd Little had alot of heart. I don’t know if you remember but he wasn’t very big but very bull legged.
GO KC ON SUNDAY(NEVER THOUGHT ID ROOT FOR THEM)
I’m out……gonna go watch a movie w/ my kids
peace out 57tbird.
While Little was still a Bronco they also had Andeson from CU who was very knock kneed. Floyd said that when they were in the backfield together they were OK. Anyone understand the joke but me?
If you want to really go back in time, how many of you remember when the Oilers “loaned” Jackie Lee to the Broncos to play QB?
And another day in WINNING paradise is upon us…… Life is good once again.
It looks like I was WRONG in my season record pick, had us going 8-8, lowest I see now is 9-7, but we need at least 10-6, possibly 11-5 to go to the promise land. Big game next Sunday, hope it won’t be 5 degrees with a 25 mph wind, I hate that stadium worse than any other in our division by far.
57, it’s ok to hate a stadium, right? It’s not like hating a player, correct? LOL. Just messing with you…
A note that should be of great interest to us Bronco fans, Dumervil is only two sacks shy of tying the Bronco sack record held by Simon Fletcher back in 1992 (16). He might very well become the new Bronco sack leader in a year in Bronco history by season end (needs 3 more). Much more in doubt is the long shot possibility he could beat Strahan NFL record of 22.5 sacks (would need 9 more).
BTW, the Kansas City forecast for next Sunday, even so I realize it could be totally bogus as it’s still 9 days away, reports partly cloudy, temp. in the mid thirties and 10 mph wind. Cold, but I could live with that.
