Yeah Bill II, I noticed the announcer call Orton Tebow on at least three plays, it was the older guy -- the play by play announcer, can't remember his name right now... but yeah. I was like 'cant he see the jersey # or Orton's name on the back'. I mean c'mon on one of those plays Orton took a sack and was face down and the guy still calls him Tebow lol

I really don't understand all the problems with puting in Tebow. He's a young kid right out of college, rated an excellent football player in the college ranks. Last Sunday on the last two plays of the game the announcer kept saying, "OK you got to get rid of the ball, come on get rid of the ball". Tebow then through a 20 year pass. On the last play of the game the announcer kept saying, "you have to throw the ball, you have to throw the ball". Well when he saw his receiver open he did and almost won the ballgame for us. It was crazy, listening to these people (announcers) that are sitting up in the stands and telling the quarterback how to play. It is totally amazing. He even one time in the game called Orton, Tebow on a pass play and was complaining about the way Tebow through the pass and was taking his time about throwing it. Tebow wasn't even in the game at the time. Tebow just needs to get out there and play his game and as he says, "Have Fun". I know the loyal Bronco fans will cheer him on and have their fun also. I haven't seen so much excitement in Denver since Elway departed as quarterback. Go get'em Tebow, we're behind you all the way.

I hear you oldsouth, I was even at one of those defeat in Miami for the 1998 game, we usually lose bad there, but no one on the team was any part of that, neither were the coaches, and a streak like that has got to be broken at one time or another, and what better time to do it when Miami has lost 8 in a row and Tebow gets his first start of the season. Miami will have its hands full I think, not really the other way around, Only the Miami homefield mystic will keep it close, I have it an 8 point win, anyhow I sure hope so because I don't want to see you get away from the rest of us, LOL.

Bay:
Actually, it would kill me too. But we've played there many a time against an inferior team and loat. Some teams seen to have another teams number. Consider our rtecord against the Patriots since they've become a top notch team. We're well over .500 against them. My gut says Broncos, but history says Fins. Make or break time.

Nobody is blaming it all on Orton....

We just need a better competitor to give the Broncos the best chance to win.....

We all feel sorry for Orton but he's very rich, he's got a healthy family and he has had his ample time and chances to prove himself to be counted on to win football games and it just hasn't happened for him...

Let the next man step up and make some plays...

I wish Kyle wasn't around to cry to the players and coaches and keep trying to win the job by making everyone feel sorry for him.

He had a chance to go out and win the job on the field in the heat of battle and he failed.....

The NFL is not a Play by Pity Committee.. ..!

PUT THE 11 STRONGEST MEN IN THE BATTLE!!!!

Send the Pity Patties to the back of the line and keep them from crying to the solders.....

Somber mood in the locker room? Funny, the interviews with some of the other players say differently. There's been mention of a lighter mood in the locker room, more loose, relaxed.

Media putting a spin on words again? Something to get the pot stirred again, to justify their jobs?

Sometimes the media is a pain.
Even Bailey, sound bite(sorry no link, it was on 102.3 The Ticket) stated and I'm paraphrasing, the locker room is always relaxed and easy going until the media comes in. If we could keep the media out it'd be a great locker room. Part of the comments were in jest, you could tell, but it was a clear jab.

What that tells me (I know. I know. This is coming from an Orton guy), is the team really was behind Orton. And a majority of them genuinely feel bad that he was benched due to a popularity contest when the rest of the squad realizes it wasn't only on him. The 1-4 record that is.
Maybe some take offense to the notion that "now that Tebow is in the Defense will be inspired". Who's to say they aren't already inspired?
I don't know.
Maybe it's the cult like status Tebow has. In a locker room full of Alpha personalities some offense could be taken. Like how can someone be so celebrated and hasn't accomplished anything at the pro level yet.
I don't know.
I'm not in the locker room. I have no pulse on the situation. It is interesting when our longest tenured Bronco player states their is a somber mood in the locker room.

Something is definitely rotten in Denmark. Hopefully they can come together as a team. Take advantage of all Miami has to offer. Or things will most certainly get worse...
