15:00: The Broncos kick off to the Cowboys — Orlando Scandrick and Isaiah Stanback are back to return. Prater again kicks it to the back of the endzone and Stanback takes a knee for a touchback.
15:00: Johnson makes a pass over the middle to Felix Jones who breaks a tackle and has a big gain up tot the 47.
13:41: Rookie tight end Martellus Bennett makes people bounce off of him as he gains another first down.
11:07: Nic Clemons brings down Tashard Choice in the backfield, bringing up 3rd and 14 on the Denver 31. Johnson is in the shotgun and dumps it quickly up the middle to No. 89 but it’s short of the first down. 4th and 6.
10:31: Nick Folk makes a 42-yard field goal. Denver 14, Dallas 10.
10:31: The defensive starters on that first drive were Jarvis Moss, Nic Clemons, Alvin McKinley and Tim Crowder on the line; Jordan Beck, Nate Webster and Wesley Woodyard at linebacker; and Jack Williams, Karl Paymah, Roderick Rogers and Hamza Abdullah in the secondary.
10:31: Glenn Martinez and Clifford Russell back to receive for the Broncos.
10:26: Patrick Ramsey jogs out behind center to start the second half. Michael Pittman is in the backfield with Russell and Keary Colbert out wide. Mitch Erickson, Montrae Holland, P.J. Alexander, Dylan Gandy and Tyler Polumbus are on the line, and Brett Pierce and Tony Scheffler are at tight end.
9:18: After a three-and-out, Brett Kern had his punt blocked but it fell right back into his hands and he sprinted up the right side for a long first down.
8:45: Ramsey is intercepted on a pass intended for Keary Colbert but there’s a flag on the play. Illegal contact before the pass was thrown, automatic first down.
8:45: The ball is on the Dallas 40, first and 10. Handoff to Pittman who hits the hole on the right side for a two-yard gain.
8:45: Pittman to the right side again for a short gain. Third-and-7 at the 37.
7:45: Ramsey finds Clifford Russell at the 18-yard line and he’s knocked out of bounds after the long gain. First down.
7:35: Pittman is tackled from behind by Adam Jones after five yards. He gets the ball again on second down and gains two yards to bring up 3rd-and-3 on the 11.
6:26: Ramsey’s pass is incomplete to the right side and Prater steps back onto the field with Kern holding to attempt a 29-yard field goal. He splits the uprights and the Broncos go back up by seven, 17-10.
6:18: Prater set to kick off, and he drills it one more time halfway into the endzone and Stanback takes a knee for another touchback.
6:18: Richard Bartel is behind center for the Cowboys and he hands off to Tashard Choice, who is tackled behind the line by Paul Carrington.
Tyrone Poole, Paul Carrington, Larry Birdine are in the lineup for this drive.
5:33: Clemons gets into the backfield and breaks up a screen pass on second down, then the defensive line collapses in on Bartel and Carrington and Kenny Peterson split a sack on third down. An illegal formation penalty on the offense is declined. Fourth-and-11, Martinez back to return.
5:14: The same players are in for the Broncos as on their last offensive drive, except Peyton Hillis is in at fullback and Scheffler is on the sideline.
2:46: On the second set of downs on the drive, Ramsey passes to Colbert on the left side, and he’s tackled by Adam Jones to bring up 3rd-and-7 on the Denver 49.
2:13: Congratulations to Michael Phelps — he just got his 8th gold medal of these Olympics. The guy is a serious, SERIOUS athlete.
2:13: Ramsey pass complete to Russell, but just short of the first down. Paulescu is out for the punt. He skies it and Karl Paymah downs the ball inside the 5-yard line.
1:22: First-and-10 for Dallas at their own 3. Nate Webster makes the stop up the middle after a one-yard gain.
0:46: Pass incomplete by Bartel, third down inside the five.
0:42: Bartel, in the shotgun, is hit as he throws in the endzone, and the ball is tipped by his receiver and almost intercepted. Almost a huge play by the Broncos defense, but it still brings up fourth down and a punt.
0:29: Michael Pittman gains six yards as the third quarter comes to a close.

I don’t usually rant too much about players, but, dang it, I’m 34 years old and very SLOW and I could probably have a shot at picking Ramsey off. You can tell who he’s gonna throw to immediately after he takes the snap…………..he just stares right at them…………..

Last year when I watched my boys get smoked I KNEW we were in for a long season…..now the tide has turned…..I like what I see. I really am going to miss McKinley and Ek……but the NFL is not a saving grace for those over 30. Clemons is a Pryce type player from the DT position on passing downs…..
