15:00: The Broncos will get the ball to start the second half. Eddie Royal is back deep for the Broncos along with Chad Jackson. Connor Barth kicks it three-yards deep and Royal takes it out to the 19-yard line.
The Broncos start their first drive without Peyton Hillis. Jay Cutler hits Tatum Bell for seven yards on first down and then Bell picks up enough for the first down on the following play.
13:40: Cutler rifles a pass through the hands of a defender going for the pick, and on the other side to haul it in is Darrell Jackson for a first down.
12:35: After a three-yard gain by Bell, Cutler from the shotgun scrambles right and lowers his shoulder for the first down.
11:50: A short run by Bell on first down and then Cutler hits Daniel Graham, who jukes a defender, then runs over one for the first down.
10:18: Royal shows the acceleration as he motors past Jerrad Page for another first down. Page looked as if he was standing still.
9:44: Broncos ball inside the Kansas City 20. Cutler can’t connect with Brandon Stokley on first down and Bell gets one on second, bringing up third-and-nine. Cutler hits Jackson, but not enough for the first down. Out comes Matt Prater for a 33-yard attempt. Prater puts it right through and the score is tied.
Broncos 17 – Chiefs 17; 8:17 remaining.
8:17: Kevin Robinson brings the kick back to the 26-yard line, where the Chiefs will have it first-and-ten.
6:57: After a first down to Dwayne Bowe, Tyler Thigpen hits Tony Gonzalez who makes a great catch near the sideline. Head Coach Mike Shanahan will challenge the catch, but it looks like Gonzalez had possession and got both feet and a knee in-bounds. Is it just me, or have we had a lot of plays challenged the last two games?
Scott Green is back, and says Gonzalez made the catch. First down Kansas City at the Denver 33-yard line. 24 yards on that reception by the future Hall-of-Famer.
6:35: First down, Thigpen looks for Devard Darling — who has Josh Bell beat — but it is over his head. A Chiefs player is down following the play.
The injured player is C Rudy Niswanger. He is helped off by the Kansas City trainers. Wade Smith has come out to take his spot.
6:28: Johnson tries the corner, reverses field, and loses seven yards. Good contain by the Broncos. Brought down by Bell and it is third-and-17… play is whistled dead. False start on the Chiefs, it is now third-and-22… Thigpen rolls, moves up and looks for Will Franklin. Marquand Manuel is there and the pass falls incomplete. Chiefs to punt.
INJURY UPDATE: Niswanger has a knee injury and is questionable to return. Also, Brandon Stokley suffered a sprained right ankle and his return is questionable.
4:54: After the touchback, the Broncos will start first-and-ten at the 20. Cutler lasers a first down pass to Tony Scheffler for 20 yards. He zipped that pass in there.
4:26: On second down, Cutler hits Graham down the middle for a big gain and another first down. Broncos inside the Chiefs 40 after that 25-yard reception.
2:40: Following a Cutler run and short completion to Scheffler, the Broncos face a third-and-three. Cutler is going to look it over with Shanahan and take a timeout. The Broncos now have just one timeout remaining.
1:59: The third down pass falls short, as Cutler was looking for Jackson. Prater is back out on the field to attempt a kick from 48-yards away. Prater misses wide right. Chiefs ball at their 39-yard line.
1:44: Thigpen starts the drive looking for his favorite target Gonzalez. It is over his head, but the refs say Josh Barrett interfered…ah but wait, the ball was not catchable, no flag. On the very next play, Thigpen looks towards Gonzalez again, but Barrett has great coverage and the ball falls incomplete. Third-and-10, and the Chiefs call a timeout to talk it over.
1:37: Guess what, Thigpen looks for Gonzalez on third down, he makes the catch but he is out of bounds. Fourth down and Royal is back for the punt. He lets it go and it is downed at the five.
0:40: Cutler is in trouble, moves away from the rush and finds Scheffler. That pass will cover 17-yards and a first down. Herm Edwards can’t believe that Cutler got away.
That will end the third quarter. See you in the fourth.

Any updates on hillis?
that was nice to see cutler lower his shoulder and try to run someone over
lynch4prez is right.
Frustration is a funny thing, and nobody is more frustrated than the team when they mistakes and get bad calls. But that’s football, and the referees can never be right since they are always upsetting one side or the other.
We are the Broncos and that means we are all part of the same team, win or lose. Make no mistake those players are trying their darndest and will win if at all possible. But you have to respect your opponent who also want to win.
The best way to win is to stay together as a team, stay focused, fight for every ball, and give 100%. Win or lose you have to take it like a man, and live to fight another day.
So we are going to give everything in the second half and win this game like Broncos do. With heart and passion, and against all odds, injuries and referees.
I love having Eddie Royal
this is very promising,,to see rookies on the defense keeping it together (woodayard, barrett, bell)….
a very nice drive
Still nothing new on Hillis, other than he has a strained hamstring and is questionable to return.
Good drive to level scores. Defense needs to hold though. Doesnt seem like we are able to get enough pressure on Thygpen. Hopefully we can force the Chief’s offence to punt or commit mistakes.
Nice drive, I’m glad the O Coaches have enough faith in Tatum to stick with a well ballanced drive. KEEP IT UP! Good things will come.
GO BRONCOS! ! !
GO D ! ! ! MAKE SOME NOISE FANS ! ! !
Thanks Kyle
COME ON DEFENSE!!!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
Does anyone know of a live feed?
Keeping them down to a field goal on this drive would be a big for the D.
Does anyone know of a live feed
The orange looks great!
Take that red flag from shanny! How many challenges has he lost this year?
How sad is that? Holding the cheaps to a field goal would be good for our D.
We need a turnover!
nice play by josh bell right there.. awsome D!!
Now is the time to stop them! Great D!
hige stop by the d there.. nice job guys!
anyone got a feed?
And the D holds – Go Broncos

Was it just me, or did I hear the crowd on that last D stand.

come on prater.. he hits everything the first 8 games but since then he cant make anything anymore
waste of a timeout as well.
Why is it so QUIET?
Josh Barrett is playing exceptionally well, especially since he’s been given the job to cover Tony Gonzalez
Great jobe Barrett!
IN! COM! PLETE!
minus that interception..cutler has been playing great today
yes, matt prater started very well,
but lately,
he’s shown that he is not fit to be an NFL kicker.
might be something we should address in the offseason/draft.
Great plays..
