It seems like it’s been about a month since we’ve been in the press box at INVESCO Field at Mile High. In truth, with the trip to London followed by the bye week, it’s been three weeks — pretty close.
As Ryan Harris said earlier this week, it seems like a fresh start for the club, with five of the final eight games coming against AFC West opponents.
Those divisional games start this afternoon with the Kansas City Chiefs in town. About two hours prior to kickoff, a handful of Broncos are on the field warming up for the contest, including Tim Tebow, Eric Decker, Syd’Quan Thompson, Brandon Lloyd, Perrish Cox and Stanley Daniels.
We’ll have some pregame photos from a slightly chilly field shortly. Most players are sporting long sleeves.
12:53 p.m. MST: Got the inactives for both teams. For the Broncos, Brady Quinn will be the third quarterback. Andre’ Goodman, Laurence Maroney, Cassius Vaughn, Robert Ayers, Kevin Alexander, Stanley Daniels and Eric Olsen will not suit up for this afternoon’s game. On the Chiefs’ side, Dexter McCluster, Kendrick Lewis, Tim Castille, Jon McGraw, Reshard Langford, Corey Mays, Justin Cole and Anthony Toribio will not play.
1:26 p.m. MST: Here are some photos, courtesy of Eric Detweiler.

1:31 p.m. MST: The teams are on the field — the Broncos in their alternate orange jerseys with white pants, and the Chiefs in all white. The offense is working on running routes, while the defense squares off in position drills. We’re just about a half-hour from kickoff.
1:48 p.m. MST: The Thunderstorm Jumpers are skydiving their way into INVESCO Field at Mile High, and the National Anthem will come shortly. See you in the First Half Blog.

GO. BRONCOS!!!! This is the game that the BRONCOS redeem themselves . I hope
Happy birthday Kyle Orton he turns 28 today hope we get a big game from him.
GO BRONCOS!!!
Always optimistic in the beginning. Hope we get to see a LOT more of Tebow today. Running game getting a better look with more touches for Moreno.
Better defense, more pressure on the opposing QB!!!!!! Looking and hoping for a big win….
I’d love to be pleasantly surprised by a win today! Go Broncos!
What up all????
watching other games hard to see peyton Hillis gaining ground on every run. The guy always gets positive yards.
Hope the O line shift to permanancy will help our running game the Chiefs are hard to run on this year but we need to be balanced.
GO BRONCOS TURNOVER FREE FOOTBALL FAR 60 MINUTES
huh, not having McCluster out there should be some what of a big break for us. We still have our whole season on the line and our boys should not take this lightly in any way but that’s a big loss for KC this week. He’s been their go-to guy for return duty and run game. This will be very interesting to see.
We have a legitimate shot at winning this game, they just have to fight for it. Will be interesting to see how much play time Tebow will get. Lookin’ good #15, lookin’ real good!! lol Got pics of everything I want to see from the Broncos… Tebow at QB, Squid taking returns, Decker getting more play time, just add Thomas to that list and I’ll be a happy camper. As for defense, I want to see them transform into a brick wall against Cassel & Co., and when DJ gets put in I hope he makes up for his big blooper he made. For the love of football, pressure the QB. Go get ‘em boys!!!!!
Have faith Bronco Country…
GO BRONCOS in 2010!!!!
