I think the drum about the run game gets hammered so often that people think you need to run the ball or this and that. It isn't so much about running more it's about being effective when you do run. In a Manning offense you usually have a decent yards per carry cause he calls the run when the defense gives you a pass defense look. This is why Manning can run a fairly simple offense and be effective. He constantly makes the defense wrong. Sorry, not trying to be rude.
