On the next play, Tebow fakes the handoff to Moreno and throws for Brandon Lloyd, but the pass sails out of bounds. After the play, both teams are called for personal fouls and the penalties offset. On third-and-9 from the 18-yard line, Tebow finds Brandon Lloyd for a 13-yard completion on the right sideline.

Q4 15:00: The Chargers line up in a two-back set, and Mario Haggan tackles Ryan Matthews for no gain. D.J. Williams pressures Rivers into an incomplete pass on second down, and the Chargers face third-and-10. Rivers handles the shotgun snap passes for Floyd, but Andre’ Goodman and Renaldo Hill break it up. Kaeding comes out to attempt the 53-yard field goal, and he pulls it wide right. That counts for the first missed field goal in Denver of Kaeding’s career.

Q4 5:26: Tebows first-down pass intended for Daniel Graham is incomplete. On second down, Tebow completes a 2-yard pass to Knowshon Moreno. Facing third-and-8, Tebow fires a low pass over the middle, but Eric Decker can’t complete the diving catch. Q4 3:11: Matthews carries the ball for 5 yards before he’s taken down by Ronald Fields. The Broncos call their first timeout. Q4 1:17: Facing third-and-6 at the 40-yard line, Tebow sets up in the shotgun and hits Correll Buckhalter for an 11-yard completion on the right sideline. Tebow has nowhere to pass on the next play, so he runs out of bounds. On the next play Tebow launches a 25-yard pass up the middle to Daniel Graham and spikes the ball. The Broncos now have second-and-goal from the 6-yard line. Tebow rolls out and can’t find anyone open, so he throws the ball away. Hauschka’s extra point is good, and the Broncos are behind by five points with 26 seconds left in the game.

Tebow looked great in the last few games he played in. This draft better be concentrated all on our D.

  2. casinoroyal19 says:

Overall i thought that Tim had 3 solid games. Sure, for most of this game he was in a funk, but its not like we didnt see it coming up he is a rookie after all. i cant wait to see how he does next year

  3. trigger73 says:

Well, with our probable No. 2-No. 4 pick in the draft, we will have a lot of options. The top should be Patrick Peterson, a DB from LSU, Prince Amukamara, another DB from Nebraska, and DT Nick Fairley from Auburn. The Panthers will probably select QB Andrew Luck with their pick ahead of us. He comes from the same alma mater as John Elway, Stanford. Just in case we have the No. 4 pick, we could select Adrian Clayborn, a DL from Iowa. A LB possibility could be Von Miller from Texas A&M.

I think we should go with Peterson. What do you all think?

  4. strandoftds says:

    WE ARE PICK #2!

  5. strandoftds says:

I`d take Bowers the DE from Clemson or Nick Fairley from Alabama.

  6. strandoftds says:

ooops Sorry Fairley is the DT from Auburn. My mistake.

  7. Bones1965 says:

Rush the passer with doom and Bowers

  8. Bones1965 says:

I think tebow is being judged really unfairly. This was hiss third nfl start. He is a winner and I think he gives us a chance to be good.

Very disappointed with Demaryius Thomas. I thought he would be a stud. Dez Bryant would have been a better selection.

Ron Rivera as the next head coach.

  9. Borrachazo C.R says:

I truly believe in TT. He had his toughest match up so far against the top D on the league! We all know rookie QB’s are gonna make bad decisions at certain points, but I really like what I’ve seen so far with Tebow, that “X” factor he brings to the game with his feet and keeps the chains moving, is nice to have that certainly!
I bet you Orton would not have us that close in this game, no way!(last year Orton choked against S.D with 32-3 in Denver).
So bring the D back to Denver on 2011 and Tebow can get us to the playoffs!

  10. Borrachazo C.R says:

Oh, almost forgot! Get TT a nice athletic TE and that would do it for the offense(counting that Landale White can have and impact as our bruising RB).
    Go Broncos on 2011!

  11. AceII says:

Thomas, Decker, and Tebow all have alot of potential imo. I hope we get someone that can help them further develop and play to their strengths.

  12. AceII says:

Seriously how long can we go w/o addresses the glaring needs on defense.

  13. sndvl says:

So much for DEFENSE in 2011. In Rivers 11 career starts against us, he is 8-3. While in eight of those games SD scored 32 or more points.
Somethings got to give! Well besides our defensive unit. Ugh.

Well that’s all she wrote on this forgettable season. My highlight of course was the firing of Josh McDaniels. (saying that name leaves a horrible taste in my mouth). Lowlight, ha easy, Black Sunday. In particular the teary eyed young female fan a few seats away. Weird because there had to have been hundreds of thousands of boo birds this year and I’m willing to bet I’m the only one who made another fan cry because of it. Thanks again boy genius. Thanks for nothing. I could care less where he ends up, but if it is KC, then that’s their problem. (though it would definitely refuel the rivalry).
Enjoy the offseason! I’m rooting for Champ to alternate in the probowl, Cutlet to throw 4 picks in his playoff debut and eagerly anticipate the process of finding our next coach.

GO BRONCOS, DEFENSE with the #2 pick!!!!

  14. strandoftds says:

DEFENSE WITH THE DRAFT! Accept I`ll take a Catching TE. Rudolph or Stocker.

  15. broncosfreak30 says:

Man, what a great game!! I am glad that Tebow got to play this game because he has a lot of good film to look over in the off season!! Tebow is definitely our future, no doubt about it!! He is a rookie and have already broken so many records and looks amazing!!

I am glad that we locked up the #2 pick!! I have heard rumors that Luck may stay in college and finish his college career! If he does then I believe that the Panthers will take Bowers! If Bowers isn’t available, I say take Peterson and then take DE later on!! Our DB’s didn’t look all that good tonight but that did mostly factor on our rush D!! If Bowers is available, I say take him!! If not, take Peterson for sure and then DE and TE!!

Tebow had a great come back tonight and I wanted him to come back and win the game but then again I think it is better with him of lost so that he can learn more from it and it can help our draft!!!

Tebow played great tonight despite his two interceptions and if we give him a good defense then the sky is the limit for us!! The player that most stood out to me tonight and should stay on our team is DJ baby!! He had a great game tonight and he definitely came out and proved himself tonight!!!! Also Decker did pretty good tonight, he had one wide open catch that he dropped but other than that, his first NFL TD and had a great game!!

I LOVE ME SOME BRONCOS COUNTRY!!!

  16. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Like i said, win or lose I am happy. We lost and definitely locked up the second pick I believe. Many possibilities with this pick. We can Go DE Bowers (if he declares), DT Fairley, CB Peterson (if he declares) … or we can trade down within the top 10 and amass more picks. But I would probably just use the picks…I have something in mind for first 3 rounds but I will wait to see who declares come January 15. Enjoyed watching Tebow these last few games…He is indeed the future in my book. Looking forward to the new staff, looking forward to the offseason, and I cant wait for next year so we can hopefully get this bitter taste out of our mouth.
    The Future Looks Bright!
    GO BRONCOS!!
    TRB out…
