15:00: The Buccaneers will receive to start the second half. First-and-10 at their own 20.
Graham carries the ball around the right end for a 14-yard gain and a quick first down.
14:30: They have less success on the following play, however, as Dewayne Robertson stuffs Graham in the hole for barely one-yard.
13:20: It’s third-and-four from the 40. Griese is in the shotgun. He hits Bryant just past the first down marker.
12:40: The Bucs have gotten several quick first downs to start the second half, the most recent on a Griese-to-Alex Smith connection.
11:00: After an incomplete pass, it’s third-and-8 at the Denver 43. Griese slips away from what would have been a sack, scrambles right, and his pass for Maurice Stovall is batted away by D.J. Williams.
Out comes Bidwell to punt.
The ball is downed at the four.
10:52: And so now we see the Bronco offense for the first time this half. And Cutler fakes a handoff and bootlegs out, firing to Tony Scheffler. The tight end rumbles down the field for a first down and much more, picking up 33-yards.
The Broncos average starting position has been their own 18-yard line so far in the game.
9:38: It’s third-and-three at the Denver 44. Cutler’s pass for Marshall is tipped at the line and falls incomplete, so Kern must come out to punt.
Jackson fields the punt at his own 10, and he picks up just a yard as Karl Paymah makes an open field tackle.
9:25: Dre’ Bly is waving at the fans, clapping, getting the fans involved. They clearly want it loud as the Bucs start deep in their own territory. Dunn takes a handoff to the left, but he has nowhere to go and is swallowed by a gang of tacklers for a one-yard loss.
It all happened thanks to Jamie Winborn who burst through the line and knocked a blocker out of the way.
9:00: Champ Bailey comes on a blitz and nails Griese as he releases the ball. It flies high and falls incomplete.
Griese is hurt on the play, but he now makes his way over to the Buccaneers bench, assisted by the training staff.
In comes Jeff Garcia to take over at quarterback, for at least one play. He’s listed on the depth chart as their third quarterback, but today, he’s #2 with Luke McCown declared the #3 for the game.
8:30: Garcia completes his pass to Bryant on third-down, but he picks up just two yards.
Bidwell will punt from within his own endzone.
Royal fields it, bobbling the ball but reeling it in, at the Denver 47 and makes his way across midfield into Tampa Bay territory before being taken down.
Royal is down on the field after his six-yard return, with the training staff attending to him. The crowd chants “Eddie, Eddie!” and Cutler stands nearby, looking on as Royal gets up and makes his way off the field.
INJURY UPDATE: Griese’s return is questionable with a shoulder injury.
7:52: It’s first-and-10 at the Tampa Bay 47, and Cutler dodges a bullet. He attempts to hit Young on a screen pass, and it is very nearly intercepted by Kevin Carter.
7:25: It’s third-and-five at the Tampa Bay 42 after a five-yard run by Young. Cutler hands off to Pittman, who takes it up the middle and bowls over several would-be tacklers before being taken down at the Tampa Bay 26.
7:00: Cutler finds an open Scheffler down the middle for a 16-yard gain. It’s first-and-goal at the 10.
5:50: Cutler hits Brandon Stokley in the flats, and he scoots into the endzone for the 10-yard touchdown.
13-6, Broncos on top.
INJURY UPDATE: Eddie Royal has a sprained left ankle, and his return is questionable.
5:41: Prater kicks yet another touchback — each kickoff thus far in the game has resulted in a touchback.
Garcia remains at quarterback for Tampa Bay.
After a false start, the Bucs have a first-and-15 at their own 15. Garcia finds Bryant and gets back most of the penalty yardage. Second-and-11 upcoming.
5:01: Another false start backs up the Bucs, so now it’s second-and-16 from their own 14.
4:36: Garcia launches a pass deep down the left sideline, but it sails past Bryant. Now third-and-16 from their own 14.
The crowd is getting louder and louder, with the Broncos motioning for more.
Dunn carries the ball up the middle for a gain of six, so out comes Bidwell to punt.
4:00: With Royal out, Glenn Martinez fields the punt and gets six yards on the return. The Bronco offense will have the ball at their own 29.
2:45: It’s third-and-two at the 37. Cutler finds Stokley on the left side on a comeback route, and he picks up the first down with a gain of eight.
1:30: On second-and-eight, Cutler fired for a wide open Marshall, but Marshall slipped and fell and couldn’t make the grab.
It’s third-and-eight at the 47. Cutler hits Martinez on the right sideline for a gain of 12 yards and a first down.
1:00: The Broncos pick up another first down on another pass to Stokley for 11 yards. Now it’s first-and-10 at the Tampa Bay 30.
0:30: Again Cutler finds Stokley, and he’s tripped up but makes it five yards. That brings the fourth quarter to a close.

not watching the game (curses missouri) but it looks like our pass rush is actually there today. 3 sacks in a half! are we finally actually blitzing?

one by DJ wasn’t much of a sack, just ran griese out for no gain on some play, but the d line is getting decent pressure, mostly, cept when they switch to 3-4, but dummerville looks like he is starting to get back into form now
