BRONCOS BEAT BUCS, CLINCH AFC WEST TITLE: The Broncos defeated the Buccaneers 31-23 on Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. It was their seventh consecutive win and clinched the AFC West title.

MANNING TO UNREIN PUTS DENVER AHEAD EARLY: Defensive tackle Mitch Unrein caught his first career reception and touchdown in the first quarter.
BUCS RESPOND WITH THREE: Tampa Bay drove 66 yards and kicked a short field goal to answer the Broncos’ previous touchdown drive.
BUCS TAKE LEAD WITH CLARK TOUCHDOWN: With the help of a 40-yard pass play, the Bucs found the end zone on an 11-yard touchdown reception by Dallas Clark.
INJURY UPDATE: Defensive tackle Mitch Unrein sustained an eye injury in the first quarter.
DENVER TRAILS 10-7 AT HALF: The Broncos entered the locker room trailing 10-7.

MILLER’S PICK-6 ADDS TO DENVER LEAD: Von Miller’s interception return for a touchdown ignited the Denver crowd and padded the lead.
BUCS GET THREE TO CUT INTO LEAD: Tampa Bay got an interception and turned it into three fourth-quarter points.
BRONCOS DRAIN CLOCK, ADD THREE: The Broncos drove 68 yards down the field and added a field goal.

Anyways as everyone here knows im sure record beats head to head. Well a Pats fan is calling me an idiot because he said when NE beats the Texans next week NE takes the #1 seed. Which is incorrect and I told him that. He swears that head to head beats record. Some people. This Pats fan was also saying BB was going to trade a 7th round pick for Nahmdi and McCoy from the Eagles because their new coach wont want them.
I guess I just dont get the way some people think.
Anyways was a good game. I didnt get to watch it. Wasnt aired up here. Saw the highlights. Best play I saw was Manning passing to Moreno for only a few yards but Moreno was sitting on the ground when he caught it. Lol followed by the Unrein TD catch

Ah. Yea that I saw! It was very awesome! What makes it my favorite play though was Schiano and the rest of the Buccs reaction! They were stunned Manning did that and Manning was just smiling away!

Used to build up a lead early only to lose it all in the end.

I know it’s WAY to early to talk draft, but we clearly need another WR, especially with Stokely not getting any younger. I’d like to hear our thoughts on Tavon Austin, out of West Virginia. He seems like a real play maker, but my only concern is he is undersized at 5’9″… I only ask, b/c I’ve seen a few mocks having us take him, as well as heard a few people talk him up.
He was smiling. Alot of funny moments in this game today. It was a tough game. The best thing we did today IMO is hold Doug Martin down. They are a good team and they will be very good later. I was a little worried about this one and the Ravens game. Now that we beat TB and the Ravens lost today…I’m alot more confident about getting deep in the playoffs. Let’s Go!!!

OT I like Austin. But theres a WR Sworpe (Cant remember where hes from) who I like as well and can be had later in the draft. I think Austin may end up a 1st rounder
Bay, I was worried about this game until the 3rd qtr. Whew.
I would love to see us go after Mosley LB from Bama Jenkins DT from Georgia or the DT from Bama.

I was NEVER worried, just ask my buddies at the bar, if we stay close til halftime, it’s a done deal. Look at the conservative way the coaches call the game early, it’s like they have the same confidence I have that Manning will get it done late if we keep it close, it’s just that simple.

That’s a great outlook bay…I will be a little more confident…within reason the rest of the year.
I agree Austin will most likely go in the first round, and I’m all about defense, but I do think this offense is missing that one playmaker opposite Demaryius. I see Tavon Austin being the next Percy Harvin.

Also my cousin and I were talking about looking at Conner Vernon to draft. Hes a WR from Duke and when Manning was working out there Vernon was the WR he spent the most time with.

I know, his size is a major concern.. And with Hillman and Holiday already on our roster, I don’t think we can afford to make an investment in a 1st rounder of that size. Hopefully we can luck out in the later rounds. I didn’t think we needed a WR last year, but I do now.
