15:00: Matt Bryant kicks off to start the game, and Andre Hall takes it froma few yards deep, getting out to the 19, and that is where Jay Cutler and the Denver offense will start the game.

14:30: Selvin Young’s first run of the game goes for eight yards, and the Broncos have a third-and-two.

The stands are filled, and though there’s a 50-percent chance of rain, the skies remain clear.

Pittman leaped over a falling defender, trying to reach the first down, but he was hit hard by a Tampa Bay defender.

After a measurement, the ball is just short of the first-down marker.

Brett Kern will punt.

12:00: Royal waves off the punt, letting it bounce. It takes a Denver bounce, and the Bronco offense will retake the field at their own 17.

11:47: Starting on offense: Jay Cutler, Selvin Young, Brandon Marshall, Spencer Larsen, Daniel Graham, Ryan Clady, Ryan Harris, Ben Hamilton, Casey Wiegmann, Eddie Royal and Chris Kuper.

8:41: The Broncos are unable to convert, and Kern comes out for his second punt of the game. He boots another high one, fielded by Dexter Jackson. It’s a 48-yard punt, and Jackson is taken down by Niko Koutouvides at the 20.

8:30: Griese complete to Michael Bennett, but he only picks up two yards before being taken down.

7:45: The Bucs have to audible, and Graham goes around right end for a 14-yard gain and a first down.

7:00: Warrick Dunn gets into the game and takes the ball 38 yards down the right sideline, setting the Buccaneers up at the Denver 21.

Bryant boots a 33-yard field goal through the uprights, and the Bucs get on the board first, 3-0.

4:28: Hall fields the kick a yard deep in the endzone and makes it out to the 23 before being taken down.

4:00: After an incomplete pass and a run, it’s third-and-long, ball on the 21. Cutler scrambles out of the pocket, moving towards the left sideline. He goes for the first-down marker and he gets it, lowering his shoulder into Ronde Barber.

3:00: Cutler complete to Stokley in the right flat. He gets a good block from Marshall, and Stokley scoots for the first down.

2:00: Cutler finds Royal alone near the left sideline, and the two connect for 12 yards and another first down. First-and-10 in Tampa Bay territory.

0:38: It’s third-and-five on the Tampa Bay 35. Cutler fom the shotgun, and he has three wideouts and Scheffler split out wide. He gets pressured and has to sneak out. He runs for the first down, but a pair of holding penalties on the Broncos negate the play.

0:17: Now it’s third-and-15, and Tampa Bay calls their first timeout.

Cutler finds Pittman coming out of the backfield, picking up seven.

That ends the first quarter, and we don’t know yet if the Broncos will punt or go for it.

After watching the preseason game at Houston, the thought of Prater kicking for us gave me shivers. He’s really surprised me in the regular season though. Thumbs up!
