15:00: Browns will get the ball to start the second half… Prater kicks the ball deep in the endzone for a touchback. First down Browns at the 20… and Brady Quinn starts where he left off hitting Braylon Edwards for 15 yards.
13:40: Two short gains bring up 3rd and 8… and Quinn avoids two blitzers and finds Donte’ Stallworth for a 19-yard gain.
12:32: Browns call a timeout… After the timeout, Quinn looks for Edwards but the pass falls incomplete. Good coverage by Dre’ Bly.
12:27: The Browns run their version of the “Wildcat” offense with a direct snap to former college quarterback Josh Cribbs. He scampers around the right end for 27 yards. Browns in the red zone.
INJURY UPDATE: Ryan Torain has been downgraded to out.
10:25: The defense forces a fourth down and out comes Phil Dawson. He hits from 33-yards and the score is now 23-10.
10:21: Peyton Hills returns the short kick to the 28-yard line… Hillis stays in at running back as Jay Cutler fakes the handoff and rolls to find Eddie Royal for a 16-yard gain… with both Selvin Young and Torain down, it looks as if Hills will handle the running back duties.
8:49: Cutler finds a leaping Scheffler for 24 yards, but Scheffler is slow to get up. He looks to be alright as he walks off the field with the trainers.
8:00: After a 1-yard loss by Hills, Cutler finds Nate Jackson on a slant for 10 yards… Hillis lowers his head and batters through for a first down. First and 10 at the Browns 15.
6:22: Hills gains five yards on first down and there is a timeout as the Browns Shaun Rogers is down.
5:41: After a muffed snap, Cutler looks for Marshall in the endzone, but he is well covered. Out comes Matt Prater to attempt a 30-yard field goal. It is good, Browns 23 – Broncos 13.
INJURY UPDATE: Shaun Rogers suffered a stinger, he is questionable to return.
5:15: The Browns start the drive at the 29-yard line… after a short Jamal Lewis run and an incompletion, Quinn and Winslow hook up again for the first down.
3:14: Facing a 3rd and 2, the Browns pitch it to Jason Wright who is stopped by Elvis Dumervil for just a yard gain. The Browns offense stays on the field for fourth down and Lewis falls forward for the first down.
1:30: The quarter will come to an end, with the Browns facing a 3rd and 6 from the Broncos 41-yard line.

Man get off bly’s back all I have to say.
You go cover Stallworth, you guys obviosly don’t know the receiving core for the Browns. All speed guys, Stallworth easily top 2 fastest receiver if he went to any team, Cribbs again same type speed but faster, Edwards is basically Marshall but I would honestly say faster, Winslow one of the fastest tight ends in the game. Only receiver I wouldn’t brag about his speed is Jurevicious, and oh ya….. he’s not playing!

Our D is falling apart… I’m not used to so many young ones taking over the spots of some BIG vets like Champ. These guys have got to come together to STOP THE RUN!!!! Its killing us that they’re letting the RBs run wild. Quinn almost got sacked… this guy needs to get hit and put in the ground. I’m so desperate for him to get sack I’ll just take one but do something. My goodness.
And yes, that last play of the first half was WEIRD!! They said it really was supposed to be a QB draw but it looked very disconbobulated if you ask me. Very very odd.

See Paymah just got beat there too, by overpersuing, that is one of my biggest pet peve’s. But none of you will say anything about that, you all just hate Bly because he is a humble guy!
Oh and did I mention Cribbs played QB up until he was drafted?! Not to mention Quinn is actually a pretty quick Qb himself.

ATV and Young both ruled out now, so only running plays we will see will come from Hillis, I think we should do some reverses with Royal, Marshall, and possibly the new Jackson!?
Its VERY hard to stay positive but they can still win this… with hard work, we can walk away with a win. It really is possible for us to win another game but they’ve got to fight for it.

OH MY WORD… now Scheffler is hurt. Am I dreaming a really bad dream or all these injuries really happening?? I can’t believe this. He makes a GREAT catch and gets injured… what is going on. We’re gonna lose our whole offense literally if this chain of horrible events keeps going on. My heart can’t take this – I can only take so much stress. This is pushing it.

This is a public forum; it’s ridiculous to demand that people “stop bashing Bly,” or anyone else for that matter. This is the reality of things. He was a questionable pick-up when they got him and now we are seeing the error of Shanahan’s ways. Also, why is it that every week the quarterback and at least one receiver or running back has a career day against this defense? They were healthy for the first four games of the season. Not a good excuse.
