    Wow DB… Glad he’s ok!

VON MANNING FOOTBALL 2012!!! SUPERBOWL BOUND BABY!!!

  2. DaddyBronc says:

Half the family has touched something that had ‘stuff’ on it. We are all coughing and choking. I have no idea how to clean this stuff up – you can’t tell where it is. LOL This too shall pass!!!

  3. wolfedom says:

DB, you’re not babysitting for me. I’ve heard of rocking ,singing, even driving to get a kid settled down, but pepper spray that’s a little to far. lol Glad everyone’s ok.

  4. DaddyBronc says:

Wolfe – I have experience…it doesn’t quiet anything down!!! LOL All I know that I touched was my sons face, but my left hand and lower lip are on fire…going on an hour now.

I’m starting to have sympathy for bad guys.

  5. RH709 says:

We are very ignored by every aspect of the media. I dont care much, I can’t stand Clayton, Peter King, etc. Bunch of know nothings.

  6. DaddyBronc says:

This is what we call ‘home education’. This experience will make us all smarter!!!

  7. DaddyBronc says:

So what is your theory on that RH? I was mad for weeks 98 / 99 SB time.

  8. RH709 says:

Im not sure why all the hate for Denver. I know that it has always been a staple of the Denver Oline to never talk to the media. Ever since Nalen and Co. they just don’t do it.

Denver just isn’t a media darling. Maybe Bowlen likes it that way?

I’ll tell you something funny though. When I was at the Raiders game the other Thursday ago, there was a penalty flag thrown and I remeber seeing the foul live when the play happened so I already knew what it was for. However the female Raiders fan two rows back, she didn’t. when she saw the flag on the play her very vocal comment was “Well $h¡t, thats on us cause those damn Broncos are such goody goodies they don’t do anything wrong”. Made me laugh that we are recognized for having class and playing fairly.

So maybe the media doesn’t like us cause we are the A+ student, valvictorian

  9. RH709 says:

…you know. that person you hate cause they have always been spotlessly perfect no matter what part of life it has to do with.

  10. DaddyBronc says:

I hope that’s the case…but some of our guys have really been robbed of their recognition and it gets old.

  11. DaddyBronc says:

    Yeah…like Tebow!!! LOL

  12. RH709 says:

Agreed. When it comes to things like HOF, its not right at all. If its just lack of coverage or not being talked about as the #1 team even though it was evident that the potential was there in preseason and it was blatantly obvious about 6 weeks ago. Well I could care less. Let them ignore us till its obvious they can’t.

  13. RH709 says:

To be honest though…in live he was…as a QB he was exactly the drama they thrive on. last year we got more coverage then Ive ever witnessed before in my life.

  14. DaddyBronc says:

I received Mike Yorkey’s book Playing With Purpose: Tim Tebow from one of my children. It was a great review of his career highlights from high school through Jet’s acquisition.

    The media attention is inexplicable-

but I came away clearly reminded of how Tebow’s reputation has been affected by the media. Billick, Henne, and others ought to be ashamed.

I’m hoping and praying that Tebow gets a real shot with a team that is willing to go as far as he can take them.

He is an interesting study – you wouldn’t be amazed by how much he shows up in my next thesis! LOL

  15. RH709 says:

I honestly thought Tebow had a shot last year. What I don’t get about that guy is that he has all the work ethic in the world but isn’t using it on being a QB. He is an absolute monster of an athlete as his pre NFL career clearly demenstrates. After that, it almost seems more like he is developing a brand more than he is trying to succeed in the NFL.

  16. RH709 says:

Anyway. To me its like a past girlfriend. Sure we had a good time together. Yes Ill keep a few pictures to remember you by. But our time together has come to an end and I am really digging the new one. marriage material? I think so.

    (yeah. I went there)

  17. DaddyBronc says:

    Funny…LOL

No, I think if Tebow gets a real shot in the NFL like Meyer gave him…something different but special will happen. I’ll keep watching him out of the corner of my eye. I sure as heck hope it happens someplace better than NY. I’ve heard talk that they is a chance that Tebow stays with Sanchez as backup and Ryan may be out with the GM being put elsewhere within the organization.

  18. DaddyBronc says:

You have to know that Manning is only a short term answer and then we go back to the depths…for how long…till we happen on another special QB. And it’s clear…Elway isn’t in the mood for football innovation….

PUM PUM PUM SCORE RESULTS WK 16 (Game 15)

So…This one time this one team won like 10 games in a row and everybody got really excited about them being legitimate Super Bowl Contenders… O’wait, that time is NOW and this Team KICKS TAIL!!!

Seemed as though this game was one that many had a really good feel for as there are many participants receiving points in this week’s contest…

    Final 34-12 (46) Broncos!

Four People will be receiving First Place points this week and those four are The Dane, Wolfedom, Alex4Serg and Millertime2! All four had totals of 47 game points and that is about as good as it gets!!! Kudos!!! (In the spirit of the Holidays I’m withholding Cyber Cookies as I’m sure we all had more than our fair share to eat the last few days!!!)

Second Place this week will be shared by 3 of my favorite Bronco Fans; tnalen66 (42), Still1972 and OSS (50). Those predictions were all 4 points off the game total and good enough for 7 contest points and a Big Ol B-R-O-N-C-O-S!!!

Third Place and killing the spirit of Sharing contest points was this upcoming week’s namesake Scalpthechiefs! His Predicition of 41-14 (55) was 9 points off the total! Plus 5 contest points and for our sake I hope we ‘you’ the opponents on the 30th!!!

A pair of Fourth Place finishers will be taking away 3 contest points for their efforts this week… sndvl (36) and Caramello (56)!!! Way to go guys, always a pleasure to have here!

Fifth Place this week and garnering that all important single point was Von_Dumervil! His Prediction of 42-16 (58) was 12 off the total and just good enough to get his name on the list!!! HOORAH BUDDY!

I’ve lost track of how many weeks it’s been since somebody picked against our Broncos and for good Reason… This team is Borderline AMAZING! Can’t say enough about how much fun it has been to watch Peyton Manning in Orange and Blue and to see the opportunities he provides for our Defense to be nothing less than Ferocious!!!

Since no one is picking against the Broncos I think it is appropriate to give this week’s Honorary WALL OF SHAME to our Garbage Time Defense… FOR SHAME!!! Can we please not allow KC into the end zone late in the 4th when the game has long since been decided?!? (almost gave it to the punt returners, but since we covered both muffs I’m giving them a WOS Pass)

VON MANNING FOOTBALL 2012!!! SUPERBOWL BOUND BABY!!!

  23. oldsouthstander says:

BT: Thanks for posting the current standings. Congrats to Dane. Maybe Dane & I have started a score prediction tradition, get on a hot streak and leave everybody esle in your dust. Hard to belive I’m as high as 5th. Looking forward to playoff contest.

    ALL HAIL THE NECK!!!!

    DON’T WRECK THE NECK!!!!

  24. RH709 says:

DB, yes he is semi-short term. After this year there will be a health evaluation, if he passes (we know he will) then 2 more years of his contract are activated. That gives Denver 3 years to develop Osweiler with the mentor ship of 2 HOF QBs. Given the way this coaching staff has been developing talent, I am going to go “glass-half-full” on Osweiler.

  25. tlcat06 says:

In this league almost every team has a win now attitude and unless you’re New England, Green Bay or Atlanta you’re looking for a QB… Who knows what will happen to Rivers in San Diego or Jay in Chicago if they keep talking about McDaniels going there. Three years with Manning is a wonderful thought, but the fact that he doesn’t think he’s good anymore and keeps saying how this isn’t an offense that’s been together for five years makes me think he might not be retiring forever lol! I don’t care what kind of short term solution this is… It’s AWESOME!!! And if Brock can pay attention and take notes why he could be as good as anybody out there. I hope he follows Peyton around like a puppy dog for the next few years. But either way, I’m not made about our short term solution because its way better than other people’s short term solution.

  26. tlcat06 says:

And yes… We do kind of remind me of the teachers pet type mentality but I’d rather have them be teachers pets and toe the line than act like the Seahawks who are dirty dirty dirty. No one but us fans really remember that McDaniels had us cheating at one point.

  27. RH709 says:

Demaryius Thomas has six third-quarter touchdowns, which leads all players in 2012. Coming in second is Eric Decker with five.

  28. RH709 says:

I wish my wife saw the Manning thing like you do Cat. She seems to be on board with DB in that area. *facepalm*
