It was interesting walking into the stadium this morning as we saw several familiar faces from this season’s “Hard Knocks” on HBO. Seems as though Chad Ochocinco’s catch-phrases are a hit amongst t-shirt makers. Dozens of “Kiss the Baby” and “Child Please” shirts were seen across the city as the buses pulled in.
10:49 a.m. EDT: Kyle Orton is warming up with Jabar Gaffney and Brandon Stokley while several defensive lineman are getting loose.
11:28 a.m. EDT: Field has pretty much cleared before the full pregame warmups get underway.
11:32 a.m. EDT: Here are the inactives for the Broncos; Josh Barrett, Chris Kuper, Chris Baker, Brandon Gorin, Brandon Lloyd, Jarvis Moss, Le Kevin Smith and Tom Brandstater is the third quarterback. Bengals inactives coming soon.
11:43 a.m. EDT: Head Coach Josh McDaniels stressed the importance of hydration all week and looks like that was a good thing. Chris Hall just texted from the field and said it was getting hot.
11:48 a.m. EDT: Here are the Bengals inactives, CB David Jones, HB DeDe Dorsey, s Tom Nelson, OT Scott Kooistra, TE Chase Coffman, WR Jerome Simpson, DE Frostee Rucker and Jordan Palmer is the third quarterback. Also, the Bengals have announced that Rey Maualuga will start at linebacker in place of Rashad Jeanty.
11:55 a.m. EDT: The specialist have taken the field and looks like the Broncos will be in their home blue jerseys. The home team gets the chance to pick which jersey they are going to wear and the Bengals are going to go in their away whites to try and fend off the heat.
12:09 p.m. EDT: The bright noon sun is giving the returners some problems as they try and catch punts and kickoffs.
12:20 p.m. EDT: The entire team has taken the field, but before they did Brian Dakwins gathered everyone up for a pregame talk. I think calling it passionate would be an understatement.

12:40 p.m. EDT: The field has cleared except for some pregame entertainment and the Bengals mascot dancing to Stevie Wonder.
12:52 p.m. EDT: The Broncos are taking the field and announcing the defense as a unit. The Bengals are announcing their offense, I have a feeling Ochocinco might get the loudest cheer — well maybe Carson Palmer.

12:56 p.m. EDT: I am going to have to give the loudest ovation to Palmer, Ochocinco danced a little, but the crowd roared for their signal caller.
1:00 p.m. EDT: Captains are heading to midfield for the coin toss. The Broncos picked heads, but it comes up tails. The Bengals have deferred to the second half so the Broncos will receive. See you in the first half blog.

I just heard on ESPN from Adam Schefter that it has come out that had Mike Shanahan not been fired, and he even shared this with Cutler, he was going to cut Brandon Marshall because of the high maintenance off the field and film had shown that he may have cost the Broncos more games than he won for them.
Wow. This could very well be his last year here but it’s up to him.
The naysayers and the odds are against us this year so I hope they go out and smash some heads and get the season started off with a win. Today will be no easy task make no mistake but I know they can do it!

I love game day. Our family has a tradition to make the regional favorites of the team we are playing.
When we play the Chargers we have fish tacos. When we play the Cheifs we have BBQ. When we play the Saints we have Gumbo. etc etc.
So since we are playing Cinicy. We are having Cheese Coneys, topped with Cincy chili and cheese.
It’s the strangest tradition, but we usually jinx the other team. lol

Yes i heard direct tv is showing nfl ticket for free for three months. HOWEVER idk if you have to purchase it though for after the 3 months.
yup bleed. Torain is just an unfortunate cat. He got the skills, if only he could stay healthy. Stil remember how impressively he ran the ball in that game last year.
I also Agree with Florio. Moreno is the guy and would get majority of snaps. Torain had enough potential to keep around. as the back behind, Moreno, Hillis, and Buckhalter…wouldnt have hurt us none.
I guess Lamont Jordan can be a decent short yardage back
I personally prefer hillis for short yard gains. Jordan strikes me as soft.
Torain had the skill set. I remembet when we drafted him 5th round. He was promising. Oh well, guess we got this guy named Moreno to take the reins now lol.

Man I really hope this team does well this season. I am sick and freakin tired of these “experts” talking about what happened with Cutler. They won’t shut up about it. So we need to show ‘em this season we can win without #6. Its possible, we’re capable of it… I just hope they can really produce it. Make them eat their words, PLEASE!!!
