He’s accompanied by running back Willis McGahee, fullback Spencer Larsen, receivers Eric Decker and Eddie Royal, tight end Daniel Fells, left tackle Ryan Clady, left guard Zane Beadles, center J.D. Walton, right guard Chris Kuper and right tackle Orlando Franklin.
Q1 14:15: Orton starts off strong, rolling to his right and completing a 14-yard pass to Royal. McGahee then gets two carries in a row. The first one he bursts up the middle for 8 yards before being dropped in the backfield for a loss of one yard. Then on third-and-3, Orton finds Royal over the middle for a 4-yard completion and a first down at the Broncos 45-yard line.
Q1 12:00: On first down, Orton throws a swing pass to tight end Julius Thomas, who sidesteps a few tacklers and gains 5 yards on the play. However, the Broncos are flagged for a false start before the ensuing snap, bringing up second-and-10. Orton gives it to McGahee who rips off a 7-yard run to bring up another third-and-3. Out of the shotgun, Orton hands it to Lance Ball who runs left tackle for a 4-yard gain and a Broncos first down on the Bengals 44-yard line.
Q1 9:59: Ball gets his second carry in the row and breaks a tackle in the backfield before getting 4 yards. McGahee comes back in on second down and runs through a huge lane up the middle for 12 yards for a first down. Q1 7:56: On first down, McGahee is stopped at the line of scrimmage for no gain. On the next play, Orton connects with Larsen out of the backfield, who takes the catch and runs for 10 yards before being pushed out of bounds but not before getting the first down.

That completed an 15-play, 80-yard, 8:30-minute opening scoring drive for the Broncos. McGahee had seven carries for 29 yards and the touchdown.

The Bengals will start the second quarter with third-and-1 from their own 48-yard line.

this kick off rule sucks. What is the point of having kick offs in Denver? Just put the ball at the 20 and go from there. Great rule change NFL. Super! Maybe next you can suggest no shoulder pads and just convert to flag football.
I’m really liking the way McGahee runs. Pushing for those tough extra yards.
i call 40 rushes today
Yeah the running game looking good
willis got in the way
FB run was good
he might have broken that
that was ugly.
Looks like a friggin cartoon lmao
now i see what u mean … ran into willis
I’m sorry but with Orton starting I hope Denver loses again…lol They want to go with a losing mentality well then that’s what they deserve. Even Champ Bailey complained last week about the lax attitude after the Raider loss.
This is a quote by Champ Bailey on Tebow after his three starts last year: “He’s a winner…Hopefully I’m around to see him win a lot of games”
I wonder if he and some of the other veterans feel that way now or did they totally throw him under the bus.
McGahee almost killed Willis
Matt Willis, Cincy’s best hitter… oh wait.
lol, kp, dg
I hear ya Ty- but if we win thats good too. Orton isnt too bad. He is doing OK … Tebow will enter eventually … we aint going to the superbowl … or the playoffs … i can wait fox out lol
lol TRB, wait Fox out
Orton is the most under-appreciated QB in the NFL
lol boe
double lol
Orton = Losses
I can’t believe we’re only up 4 points on Cincy
if we were playing almost anybody else today we might be down with all our injuries
I really don’t understand supposed fans wishing we would lose. The times sure have changed. sad really.
Orton is overrated in my book boedavi34…lol
who said we want to loose
Ty-one-on
another wasted T.O.
Orton didn’t lead enough on that pass.
well thats not cool
i never hope for a loss
I heard that singer
