Fourth-and-6 from the Chicago 11 (7:27, 1st quarter): Julius Peppers blocked Matt Prater’s 28-yard field goal attempt, stopping the Broncos’ momentum that was building from the 15-play drive that took Denver from its own 29 all the way down to the Chicago 11.
Fourth-and-1 from the Denver 22 (8:55, 3rd quarter): Devin Hester returned Britton Colquitt’s 46-yard punt 26 yards to the Broncos 42. The Bears took advantage of that excellent field position, turning it into a 9-yard rushing touchdown by Marion Barber to take a 7-0 lead.
Third-and-27 from the Chicago 45 (0:18, 3rd quarter): Facing a third-and-long, Caleb Hanie found Barber out of the backfield for a gain of 16 to put the Bears back in field goal range. On the next play, Robbie Gould converted a 57-yard field goal to increase Chicago’s lead to 10-0.
Second-and-10 from the Denver 40 (0:30, 4th quarter): With time winding down in the fourth quarter, Tim Tebow found Matthew Willis for a 19-yard gain, pushing Denver into Chicago territory. After two incomplete passes and a Tebow scramble for no gain, Prater came on to drill a 59-yard field goal to send the game into overtime tied 10-10.
Third-and-7 from the Denver 38 (12:53, overtime): On his way to what looked to be a sure first-down run, Barber was stripped by Wesley Woodyard. Elvis Dumervil pounced on the loose ball to halt the Bears’ potential game-winning drive and give the Broncos offense the ball.
Third-and-8 from the Denver 36 (12:12, overtime): Tebow hit Demaryius Thomas just past the first-down marker to extend what would become the team’s game-winning drive. Thomas leaped in the air to bring down the pass for a 10-yard gain to put Denver in Prater’s field-goal range. Four plays later, Prater converted a 51-yard field goal. The kick marked his fourth game-winning kick of the season, and third in the past three games.

McGahee needs the whole week off, he is no good at 50%.
LMAO @ will bring in Maroney!
I hear they are talking Josh McDaniels
Hoge wasn’t the only one. I listened to over three hours of ESPN last night and this morning, abd there is not one analysts bad mouthing the Broncos. Not one has ant negative thoughts about Tebow. It is almost sickening listening to them. Stephen A. Smith, Trent Dilfer, Hoge…all of them. None of them can explain it. None of them know what is going on, or how long it will go on. No one has any answers as to how to defend it, because every team has tried defending it every different way possible, so they have all (analysts) given up basically. Smith went as far to say that he was humbled by watching Tebow play the 4th qtr. He actually watched a seasoned NFL quarterback play in perfection in the 4th quarter.
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
agreed, the Pats D should be easier to run against. The Bears are as tough as it gets for our offense.
TRB, no doubt they have had horrrid amounts of injuries. Thing is, Haley and Pioli have been like oil and water since they have been there. It was only a matter of time someone had to go and it was Haley.

They mentioned McDaniels as a prospective HC for the Chiefs, and I about choked on my sandwich. I said yep, he needs to be their head coach. Bring it on. I would get no better pleasure than or Broncos kicking his but the final game of this season. Orton as the qb and McDaniels as the head coach. How priceless would that be?
You know with Pioli’s guidance, that would be exactly what McD needs and he might very well do fine in such non power environment, Bowlen just gave McD the free reigns and it just totally got to his head. Pioli is the undisputable boss and his word would go over anything McD has to say, and that’s the only way that young man can hope to get back on his feet, not doing so well with Spagnuolo though, but maybe Spag is the problem there.
If our defense gets to Brady like they got to the Bears qb, then the Patriots have a problem. They are worried. In an interview with Brady this morning, he commented that they watched the game on the flight home yesterday. He was impressed on the pressure our defense brought on the qb.
I`m not going to say that this is gods hand in this or anything, but my guess is in that knowing Tim Tebow knows his scriptures well. The first thing that comes to my mins is this in the Word: God uses the foolish things to confound the wise. 1 Corinthians.1:27
MCDaniels is having hard enough time keeping his OC position right now, no way he will be a head coach next year. If he ever is again he better only be the HC nothing more, dont give him full reign ever.

I like these comments from Elway on this mornings radio show…
Elway, who won two Super Bowls during his 16 years as quarterback of the Broncos, plans to put even more work into that progression next summer.
“I’m hoping to spend as much time as possible with Tim this offseason and give him what I know, and be able to help him with the quarterback position,” he said.
If I wasn’t then, I’m totally confounded now, LOL.
First thing that comes to my MIND.
We are all stumped. LOL
Thanks to you, haha.
Thanks to tim and our Broncos. HaHa!! We`re having fun for once. Geesh.
Colin Cowherd absolutely killing Tebow, no love what so ever. Must not be taking into consideration all the drops or improvement TT has made.

I can see this Bronco blog eventually becoming a bible class if Tebow is made to be the long term solution, it already has to some degree, maybe we should have specific days and hours for it, LOL
#EAT GREEDY???
Very front page of the DP, TEBOW MAGIC, WITH A KICKER
Thanks to Daddy and I. LOL
Bay, just taking a page from Von Miller’s sack dance, he calls it “eat greedy” time, big steaks, potatoes, with 2 hands just sholving it all in your mouth.
#EAT GREEDY !!!!
Got it, missed that.
I knew it couldn’t be related to our score since we about never win by more than 3 points, LOL.
This defense has got me excited, 12 weeks in a row with atleast 2 sacks. Swarming to the ball and playing the pass real well. Minnesota game not including mainly cause the turnovers inside 30 and being on field for 80 plays. Allen has done a heck of a job imo
Get a load of this. The N.E. Patriots are 10-3 this season, and 10- 0 when they score 30 or more points. We need to hold them to 29 points. LOL
I would like to intersect something here. I will start off saying that I am a religious man. Have been most of my life, but, I do believe that there is a place for everything.
If we want to follow in Tebow’s example, then that would be the best thing to do. I would have no problem with that what-so-ever. I have yet to listen to an interview where he stands there quoting the Bible. Tebow is preaching the Gospel each and every waking minute of each and every day. He does it by example. No, please do not misunderstand me. If you called Tebow to minister to a youth group, then you will get Bible verse and testimony the likes that you have not probably heard in a while. But when it comes to his football, he is strictly football and ministry by example.
People have made a big deal of “Tebowing”. Folks, this has been going on longer than I can remember, by just about every player on the field. I remember games where the majority of the players were kneeling on the sidelines holding hands and praying prior to their kicker kicking the game winning field goal or extra point. This being as far back as twenty or so years ago.
I hear ya, lol it’s our MO right now tho….who would of thought our motto would resemble the late Al Davis “just win baby”….even if it’s only by 3 every week in OT…

Reggie White
Alot of analyst are jumping on the bandwagon but i will give credit to Deion Sanders who was saying Tebow has IT for a long time and has just believed in him for a while. We are witnessing something special and if it may end at the first hurdle in the playoffs or we go all the way just
RIDE THE WAVE
Dawkins x-rays have come back negative that is a good sign
Broncos 34-30
I predicted this as my upset special with season records predictions, so I’ve got to go with the flow!!!!
Happy Birthday Shaztah!!! I hope you have a wonderful day and that your year is better each day.
My wife and I were at the game yesterday. What a blast!!!! AMAZING!! One thing that we read on a sign after we scored our touchdown really stands out. It read “Live like there’s no Tomorrow”.
And then listening to TT in an interview he said something to the effect “there are times when things that seem unbelievable, become possible because we believe in eachother and that’s special.”
I just wanted to share with my Broncos family things that make you smile and feel that we are together in this. Have a fantastic week.
Like I said way back when they gave TT the reigns to this team. HERE WE GO!! Let’s enjoy the ride.
Go Broncos!
Indeed, McD without full power might be a good HC … but only if he has learned from his denver mistakes … he has the ability to be good … we were unfortunately his training wheels … if he learned anything …. which I doubt cuz he is a ego maniac … who knows might do better his second time around.
Analysts are jumping on only because they are tired of looking like fools …. u can only keep saying the same nonsense over and over for so long waiting for the person to fail … when it doesn’t happen fast enough they will eat humble pie BUT the moment therese struggle and failure they will fly in all high and mighty. Just saying. hopefully we dont give em th epleasure.
As far as the Christian stuff, son of a pastor and go to church frequently … but I know the talk of religion rubs people the wrong way at times. Same with Tebow im sure. All he really does is take a knee like people have been doing for many years, and thank the lord and his team mates as well … like people have been doing for many years … he just does it more frequently and believably. Even fox is thanking the good lord now a days lol.

To the religion issue:
Faith is something that happens in the intangible arena of humanity called the human spirit. It is an aspect of humanness that even the Bible (Heb. 4:12) admits is difficult to distinguish from the soul.( = mind/will/ emotion). But faith is not intellectually adopted. Faith is built into the Spirit by exposure specifically to the preaching of the Bible. (Rom. 10:17) You really can’t get it in any other way.
Therefore: Daddy will not be participating in any blog Bible Classes. They might benefit Christians but they would be of no use to non-Christians. FTR! I suggest along with seweatherman that all the Christians follow this policy.
Anybody want to know the difference between what Tebow brings, as opposed the the rest of the Christians in the NFL? It’s called being ‘mighty in spirit’. In early blogs I defined it without using the term. Now ‘IT’ is on the table in a unique way. ‘IT’ is a phenomenon that I would have never suspected could exist in the NFL. The money mitigates against ‘IT’. But here ‘IT’ is !!!
TRB, we have two things in common, God and the Broncos. Good to know.
Hope you have a great day – Shaz! HB!!!
I think folks ought to not be so hard on Marion Barber. He seems to be a very fair minded person who played equally well for both teams!!! LOL
Daddy, wouldn`t it be a neat thing to sit down with Tim Tebow for an hour and drink a cup of coffee with him. I`d sure like that. It would be a great time of FELLOWSHIP, don`t you think. I`d be very curious to ask him some questions about his relationship with the Lord. I`m telling you, He reminds me of a Joshua or Caleb, mighty men in Gods army on the front lines.
Good to know that Dawk is fine. I wonder if he`ll play this sunday?
Daddy,
No wonder I like everything you write. You remind me of something valuable in my quest to seeking my best version everytime I get a chance to read one of your blogs. It is human nature to want to become part of what you’re exposed to time and time again. Especially as it inspires you enough to embrace the spirit.
Thanks! As a Dad myself, but with only two little girls at this time, I would be relieved to have a potential son in law with the likes of what your future one seems to possess. Blessings. Congratulations.
Strand – I’ve got a daughter that would be a perfect match. I can’t figure out how to introduce them. She would despise the money and the fame, and bring equal talent and ‘spirit’ to the table. Oh well.
Tonights game will be a boring one. St. Lious vs Seattle, yuck.
Wow, few and far between. She sounds like a young woman that Solomon described which is nearly impossible. Good job! The glory goes to HIM!
Is there any potential for either team depending on the outcome tonight or are they both out of the races for post-season play?
Rams are out –
Seattle still has a mathmatical chance but they need a lot of help.
Rams have 2 wins, and Seahawks have 5 wins three behind two wildcard teams with 8 wins. So ya, they are both out.
Is it sunday yet?!
