The Broncos’ Week 13 game against the Minnesota Vikings has been moved to 11 a.m. MST and will be televised by FOX, the NFL announced on Monday. It won’t make any difference in Texas, still won’t be televised here.
Same here in SW FL. It will not be shown here either.
On the FOX early game they’ll have Atlanta at Houston here of course.
that’s the main reason I suck it up every year and buy the sunday ticket……….so no matter what time or day and regardless of who my broncos are playing, I get to watch.
It’s worth every damn penny!
Wow just got caught up on the last couple of blogs. So glad I haven’t been on the last 2 nights lol
Great matchups this week on Thanksgiving with the Harbaugh boys and Packers vs Lions. I love watching the Broncos but watching good teams go at it without any personal ties is also very enjoyable.
I’ve been so back and forth on my prediction this week. Less than impressed with San Diego against the Bears. Phillip Rivers always has our number though.
bay: write me down for Broncos 20 Chargers 17
Thanks!
Sports bar!
I get to watch every game too and I get to do so with some Bronco fans and I get to drink draft beer!
Did the Sunday ticket when it used to be $149.95 over twelve years ago, but at the current prices, NEVER, it’s cheaper at the sports bar and it includes the beer.
It’s a shame Cutler got hurt. Would have really enjoyed watching how rowdy our home crowd would have been for that game.
I hear ya bay………..my problem here in rural newfoundland is that there is no such thing as a sports bar……..just a couple of taverns where watching sports would only be considered a distraction from the task at hand of getting drunk! haha
Trying to find the games online is just not worth the time and never works out……….
So, I have to bite the bullet and enjoy the games in HD on my 55″ plasma with my beer fridge stocked………and my 7 month old girl sitting besides me wondering why daddy is acting so crazy. lol
I know bay………..I was soooooo looking forward to culter’s return. It woulda been great fun to watch the crowd give him the gears………
oh well, maybe in another 4 years or so?
Yeah, in a desolated place like that I can see that, no other option.
Here at the Shooters sports bar we go to, it’s two dollars all domestic pints, so you can have 6 of them plus leave a $3 tip for 15 bucks per game, 16 games and you’re only at $240, much less than the ticket. love it, it amounts to free buzz, haha.
That was atwater, personally I rather he won’t be there, increasing our chances greatly, but I get it, sacking poutty mouth Cutler would of been fun. Terrible blow for the Bears though!
hey, whatever works right? As long as we see the games, that’s all that matters…………..
Any comments on if you feel the offensive game plan will change/evolve this coming week? Or will they just stick to what they’ve been doing?
my bad on that………but yeah, good for us prob that he won’t be here……….he’d def be motivated to stick it to us bad………..
major blow to the bears……….just when the O has been clicking, this happens. As much as I like to see cutler lose, I hate to see anyone injured……..
They will change it as they go, but I’m sure they come in with what’s been working so far and if the Chargers can stop Tebow ball then they’ll move to something different but they won’t change it if they don’t need to. They actually ran something other than the option against the Jets but it still ended up with Tebow running the ball however they could, looking to a lot of the same, not seeing a breakout passing game yet.
With Cutler I think the Bears would have beaten the Raiders and us. So without him we both win. A scratch in my eyes on gaining ground on Oakland.
The Jets gave the rest of the league a blue print on how to contain the option (or at least better than the Chiefs did). Every game I think we will become more balanced. For what it’s worth, I did not think Tebow’s throws on Thursday were that far off. He kept the ball in places only our guys could make a play on it.
Decker and Royal struggled making those catches but location wise I thought Tebow was putting the ball in safe spots.
It is really exactly as the wildcat with the Dolphins that year, milk it until they can stop it. I heard someone call ours the Tebowcat.
I hope to see more short range passes and screens……….just something to keep the chains moving and keep the chargers D honest. I think they’ll throw in a couple bombs down the field too. Seems like they at least try some of those each game.
and I know this has prob been said by others, but I personally want to give props to eddie royal. He’s had a tough time this season, but seems to have picked himself off the mat and making himself large out on the field. That game winning drive doesn’t happen if he doesn’t elude that defender at the goalline and keep the drive alive. Nice to see you back Eddie!
sorry, I didnt’ read last night’s posts orangutan………I have no idea what you’re referencing.
We also get film on Hanie against the Raiders. It works both ways.
Raiders and Chiefs*
my bad
I still say that there is not a qb in the league that is anxious to face our defense, and that included Cutler. This guy rerplacing Cutler will be well introdeced to VONDOOM.
I agree in this circumstance. I think if we could have stuck it to Cutler and the Bears in Denver, it would have served as a huge momentum boost that we could have rode with the rest of the season.
A loss to Cutler would have likely served an opposite effect.
Belive that was Hoge, I dont like him too much.
They will have to open up playbook versus Chargers because they seem to play very good against the run. Im more concerned about our defense more than anything.
At least I will get to see the game in person next weekend, one of the good things about living near San Diego is that I get to see my Broncos once a year. Prediction
BRONCOS 22
Chargers 19
Anyone know the last time we had the early game at home? And if so when, and what was the result?
maybe orton will want to play for them when they come to town…………………bahahahaha
The Vikings game is in Minnesota
Well, it was a heck of a lot more fun to read this blog before everyone had to go all TMFI on their spiritual beliefs…..sheesh….lol
Now, I have to tell you all about my religion!!!!
I believe in the “pigskin religion”, It comes out of Scotland from the year 1540 and we profess to believe that there is a very, very bright light just on the other side of the goal line, and that the Denver Broncos should try to get into the light…And Stay In The LIGHT!!!!
Broncos 24
Chargers 23
Stay in the Light and be Reborn as CHAMPIONS Broncos!!!!!!!
ILMSDB!!!!
I can jump on board with that religion OC…………..
Just wanted to comment on something that Coop said in the last blog, about the Jets saying it was their mistakes and poor play that cost them the game, not something the Broncos did … today’s paper had comments from players after yesterday’s Chargers/Bears game – Charger players were saying the same thing – it was THEIR fault they lost, not the Bears fault they (the Bears) won … I see those comments after every Charger loss – only Spikes, a transplant LB, had the guts to say “the better team won” … maybe pro athletes have so much ego, they can’t admit it when someone else is better, or plays better … at any rate, who really cares … we as Bronco fans are just ecstatic and amazed that our defense is playing so well … there have been stand-outs (Miller, Dawkins, et al) but for the most part it has been a TEAM effort … kudos to the coaching staff …
As for this week’s game – in my heart, of course, I want the Broncos to win SO BAD!!!!!!! … and although a famous math professor once said in a class I attended (Richard Bellman – “if a family has 7 straight boys, or girls, you have to quit looking at statistics and look at trends”) I feel the Chargers WON’T lose 6 in a row, especially at home … it’s the little things that have been eating them up … plus injuries … and you’d have to say the Broncos have stayed amazingly healthy … but, all in all, I think this is the week the Broncos lose … PROVE ME WRONG, GUYS …
Chargers 31 – Broncos 17
Just waiting for a few people who have called me out to post!!!
Broncos 35 – SD 21 –
Tebow is gonna have a break-out passing game – coming to a stadium ‘somewhat’ near me.
I’m down with that religion OC! I’m bummed I think I’m gonna miss the game. Going to Missouri to hang out with family over Thanksgiving break and I’ll be driving back home on Sunday (about a 11 or 12 hour drive). I may catch some of it if they show the game in that region. That might since two of KC’s division rivals are playing. Just hope to come home to some good highlights on NFL network and a W Sunday night. Well I’m packing up, getting ready to roll. I probably won’t be posting too much if at all in the next week so I’m wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday now. And lastly Royalty said something earlier on another blog that bears repeating: Don’t feed the trolls! Haha, keep up the good work bloggers and bronc on!
Have a safe trip and a good Thanksgiving BB&R.
Lots of early predictions this week already, itchy fingers.
Carnage – I would never ‘call you out.’ Nor do I care to discuss whether or not you have an “ilk”. LOL
I think you are always negative. You wouldn’t know a good player or coach if it hit you squarely between the eyes. Your method of evaluating coaches or players is similar to that of an accountant. And I think that the credit for the discernment that Bay gives you credit for, happened based on the odds that eventually you had to be right in that McD did conspire to destroy the Broncos top to bottom.
I like you just fine though – glad you blog – and tried to use your negativity as a launch pad for a discussion when bored with the games.
An early game in Denver, now that would be major news, don’t remember ever seing one of those!
Wiemin this is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. Football is a zero sum game. My win equals your loss. So whenever a team loses there will be apologists out there who want to say the team lost it for themselves rather than the other team outplayed them. It’s like DUH of course the losing team will make mistakes, but in the case of the Broncos they never want to gives us credit for capitalizing on those mistakes or overcoming our own to pull out the win. Have you noticed that going into Oakland, KC, and the game against the Jets at home they were all touted as being much superior teams. Even though KC got stomped by Miami the week before, and the “explosive” Jets could only score 16 points against arguably the worst defense in the league. Still they’re good and we’re terrible going into the game – until we win. The all the talking heads want to say how terrible they are. You see headlines like “What is wrong in KC?” or “Jets are falling apart”. They simply never want to give us credit for a win, and haven’t wanted to since 1998!
An early game in Denver, it had to be in the 1970`s.
Good thing titles are given on win and loss records then, if they gave them on style points or the amount of credit the Broncos get we would be screwed for the millenium, LOL.
21-17 Chargers Win. I just can’t see the chargers loosing another one in a row. As much as I hate it they sem to have our number. However, the Broncos keep provong me wrong and I love it, hopefully they keep it up.
Tebow passed pretty well against S.D. at home. It was a close come back for only playing the 2nd half. Missed it by that much.
Nobody said there was one, just a blogger mistakenly thought that’s what this blog meant, but we play AT Minnesota.
Broncos win 24-20.
Killerkod, what is your email?
Carnage -
I’m not sure if you think of my name when you think of bloggers who’ve called you out, but I’ve certainly done pretty openly at times. But I want to say this: having seen the garbage that some bloggers having been spouting out over the past couple nights I really appreciate you more. You may have a glass half empty view on life and you will always want to see the bad in the team before the good, but at least your posts are well thought out and constructed in a way that propagates discussion. I’ve taken issue with your condescending tone before, but it seems a lot less condescending and disrespectful now, in light of some recent posts I’ve read. I still disagree with you whole heartedly on the matter of the Broncos and on Tim Tebow – and I agree with daddybronc that you simply had the odds in your favor when you predicted us to be a loser in 2009 – but I have to say you deserve respect, and you have mine if it’s worth anything to you.
And I promise I want it for non-spam and non-data-mining purposes. haha
gWelll…..McD was the only coach i Didn’t like…..Dont care for Tebow..nor Orton….though i still think Orton is a better than Tebow….actually wasnt referencing you at all daddybronc…..but my momma used to say the guilty party usually speaks…..and the ilk thing is interesting to me….i liked Fox….always have…(not negative)….picked the team to go 10-6 (not negative) made that choice based on the defensive philosophy of Fox…..do not like Tebow throwing the ball….havesaid he can run. Do not think we r in good hands with him future wise.
Carnage had the odds in his favor when we were 6-0 and he predicted that we were a bad team?????????
What on earth kind of odds are you guys talking about, even SI put us on their cover when we were 4-0, still have that in my Bronco album, that was not a compliment for Carnage there BB&R, trust me, but I know you tried your best to do so, a backhanded one maybe, just saying.
In response to born and raised…uhhhhh…i think thanks…lol….that was like saying u r still ugly but we found someone uglier…..lol…..
Carnage – did you watch the video that was posted last blog with Tebow throwing? I forget who posted it.
Interested in what you have to say:
