In what is becoming a weekly occurrence, the Broncos are nominated for the Week 13 GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week Award for their comeback victory at Minnesota. Fans can vote for the moment that best represents determination and perseverance.
This marks the fourth consecutive nomination and fifth of the season. Denver has won the honor each time it has been nominated.
The team is getting so accustomed to the comeback victories that linebacker Mario Haggan suggested that they rename the weekly award to the ‘Tim Tebow Fourth Quarter Moment.’
“I’d take that as long as they turn into wins,” Haggan said on Monday.
The team won the award in Week 12 for its comeback win at San Diego, in Week 11 for its game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter against the Jets, in Week 10 for its victory at Kansas City and in Week 7 for its overtime win at Miami.
Each week’s winner will be stacked up against the 16 other Never Say Never weekly winners at the end of the season to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year. At the conclusion of the regular season, fans can log onto NFL.com/gmc to vote throughout January for their favorite Moment of the Year among the 17 candidates.

I think that might be the story of the season. Never say never. It is pretty amazing. I haven’t seen a team play with this much heart in a long time. It’s like every week they are playing for a playoff win. The best part is that we have a pretty young team, so we could see this heart for a lot of seasons to come. I can’t wait.
Overjoyed with the success and jonesing for more.
Let someone else win it for a change, like the Packers this time, Rodgers was amazing, and that way we don’t look like the cardiac kids for a week, haha.
In that picture Tebow is like “hey, I had a similar haircut to that once, but mine wasn’t as long.” haha
Yo brian, what’s a triple threat? Run, pass, ???
LMAO!
Run, Pass, and Hand off.
Congrats again to the team for another nomination … I am pretty surprised we didn;t get one for the Raiders game.
This team is the definition of never say never … I say it every week. Every week we are picked to lose and we win … and always in late spectacular fashion and if we keep doin that we will win never say never every week.
At the end of the year the will pick never say never of the year and our chances are looking good when 5 of the 17 choices so far are Broncos lol.
Also another week where we are on replay on NFL.com and im sure if we beat the bears, Broncos V NE maybe moved to primetime.
TRB
Im I the only one who wants us to have the pleasure of kicking the steelers out of the playoffs after they ruined our playoff run back in 05/06 in the AFC championships? The are the superior team most likely like they were back then too but it would give me so much pleasure if we could eliminate them because even if we don’t make it to the superbowl, that would be a consilation prize lol. But thats all IF we make the playoffs. Like Bay said, once upon a time not too long ago … all we needed to do was win 1 of our las 3 games to clinch the AFC West and make the playoffs, and we lost all 3. Anything is possible on Any given sunday/monday/thursday/saturday. TRB
TRB I loathe the Steelers with a passion! Elite team but also Elitely dirty! They have cleaned up a lot but I still really dislike them and would hold no greater pleasure then to knock them out of the playoffs. I remember that game the reversal of the Willie Parker fumble turned that game around otherwise we would be having very different disscussions right now.
All this Debate about Tebow and how or why he does what he does. Tebow is who he is on and off the field because of his passion and faith plain and simple. Critics have hounded him his entire career dating back to college and he has never been affected by it in anyway. He has always believed in himself and has been a winner everywhere he goes. He gives his lord and savior credit after every game because it is his faith that drives him along with his passion. It does not matter whether we say kind words or negative ones about Tebow on this blog because he is not driven by us again. I’m not as religious as TRB or DB but I at least can tell that what makes Tim Tebow the man he is is his rock solid foundation in his faith that won’t waver from a critic saying he is not a QB or a fan yelling he is the man… I hope that all made sense
I still remember playing the bears a couple of years ago when Hester burned us on special teams and Cutler threw some ugly picks. I sure hope we can repay the favor this week.
Crazy! How many times can you win the same award. LOL
After the season they should take away all the awards and just make a big never say never season awarded to us lol
TRB, one month to go guy. The steelers might even win their division. Lets see what happens in this month, too many things can happen still.
If we make the playoffs, it could come down to us playing Pittsburgh or Baltimore.
We would be better off with Baltimore IMO but Steelers Oline is not very good so maybe with them…
I do remember last year, Ray Lewis saying that when he goes up against Tim Tebow, that he would rip his head off.
Through their first seven starts:
Vince Young (3-4): 80-173 (46.2%), 5 TD pass, 7 INT, 12 sacks, 5 fumbles, 38 carries for 201 yards, 3 rush TDs.
Tim Tebow (4-3): 83-176 (47.2%), 10 TD pass, 4 INT, 20 sacks, 6 fumbles, 72 carries for 482 yards, 4 rush TDs.
Just keep this in mind — and recall the myriad articles in 2006 and 2007 about how Vince Young was going to be a legit NFL QB — every time you hear someone praise Tim Tebow as an NFL QB.
Interesting comparison
