Yep your friend neighbour hood Australian.

I agree on the stockpiling of RBs. They will fight it out for roster spots behind McGahee.

  2. strandoftds says:

I`m looking forward to the draft. Come on April.

  3. BroncoAussie says:

Who wouldn’t be, it will be interesting to see what we do and who we get. Hopefully we have a clearer picture after FA.

  4. OrangeTsunami says:

I agree.. I bet it took every fiber of Fox’s being not to draft a RB last year, no way the man goes two years in a row, not a chance… He my have some serious withdrawals if that were the case… LOL!!!

  5. strandoftds says:

I wonder how RB Mario Fannin will fair in camp and the preseason. Good I hope.

  6. BroncoAussie says:

Fannin athletically has it, but he has had problem with fumbles before. Plus his injury may limit him. I am more keen to see what Johnson can do. He just seems explosive with the ball.

  7. strandoftds says:

It sounds like Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks are working on a long term deal, so he`s out of the equation.

  8. strandoftds says:

I like JJ. I wanted him on the roster day one last year. I think Moreno is outta here.

  9. OrangeTsunami says:

That’s awesome BAussie! Never made it there yet, but heard only great things! Are from there originally? Are you there now? What time/day is it there? How did u become a Broncos fan? LOL!

  10. BroncoAussie says:

Lynch wanted Fat money anway. I would agree with you on Moreno but his contract is tiny this year. So we will probably keep him round because he is cheap.

  11. BroncoAussie says:

Haha Tsunami, It is one of the best places on the planet. I have lived here my whole live, am there now, it is almost 1pm, just had lunch, and I blame Kurt Warner for my Bronco love :)

  12. strandoftds says:

Oh really, hhmmmm, you may be right on that. So Morenos monies are cheap this year huh?

  13. OrangeTsunami says:

So it’s 1pm Friday there now?

  14. OrangeTsunami says:

That means you’re one day closer the draft!!!

  15. BroncoAussie says:

I believe something like 800k for the year. But then again they may cut him because of his ‘SAUCED’.

But if you are only going to carry 4 RBs and you have McGahee and Moreno already. Fannin and JJ may fill those other spots. So I don’t see a high priority here. But I think we get at least one RB somewhere.

  16. BroncoAussie says:

Yep 1pm Friday…you guys are living in the past.

Not really. Instead of say a friday the draft happens on a Saturday for me.

  17. OrangeTsunami says:

LOL! Yo BAussie, send us some stock quotes or sports scores from tomorrow and we’ll all make a killing! LOL!!!

  18. BroncoAussie says:

Haha I wish Tsunami! Easy money.

  19. Greatness007 says:

Thanks for the correction. She is always welcome to speak her mind. I just sometimes don’t bother to ask the gender of some fans. I just jump into the discussion. lol

  20. DenverOrange says:

Sweet baby Tebow this orange crush and ice cream is amazing!!!!!

  21. OrangeTsunami says:

Btw, forgive my ignorance, but I didn’t get the Kurt Warner reference..

  22. BroncoAussie says:

I found a picture of Warner in a maginzine back when he played for the Rams, something like 01 or 02. Since then went searching for more information and became a Broncos fan and the rest they say is history.

  23. OrangeTsunami says:

Gotcha.. Cool man, great to have you aboard! I’m always interested in how american football fans are born in other countries, I think it’s great! We have some Canadian fans and some from the UK that I know of so far..

  24. BroncoAussie says:

Haha yeah their are lots here and every where else. It is great to see not just the NFL but the Broncos going global.

  25. OrangeTsunami says:

Greatness – I hear ya, I just knew that she was a she, so thought I’d throw it out there, but you’re right, she’s more than capable of speaking up for herself and perhaps it wasn’t my place to say anything.. But then again, it’s a free blog.. LOL!!!

  26. OrangeTsunami says:

Youre saying there are a lot of NFL fans there and everywhere, or Broncos fans, or both?

  27. BroncoAussie says:

Both are every where these days. Gridiron is growing fast around the global.

  28. OrangeTsunami says:

Huh.. I know Goodell has a hard on for making it Global, and perhaps his efforts are paying off, which would certainly be the reason for his huge pay increase… I always thought that other countries kind of laughed at the game, saying it was lame b/c the clock stops after each play…

Is the NFL marketing the game out there, or are people just getting into it on their own?

Sorry for all the questions, feel free to tell me to piss off.. LOL!

  29. OrangeTsunami says:

*action stops at the whistle, whereas soccer (football), rugby, Aussie rules it keeps going

  30. BroncoAussie says:

Bro it isn’t a problem, we are chill as out here.

Goodell hasn’t done anything out here. Neither has the NFL or any team for that matter. They are more focused on Europe and China at the moment.

For us we just get into it, some people think it is lame but once they get into it and try it out their minds change. You need that 30 sec between plays.

  31. OrangeTsunami says:

Interesting.. Glad I asked.. I’d hate to give Goodell any undeserved credit.. That’s cool you’re a Broncos fan, never knew we had fans over there. Would you say all teams have supporters, or are there some teams with more than others?

  32. BroncoAussie says:

Nah is a pretty even spread across the board. But some of the more well known teams, say the Cheatriots, Cowgirls and Sprakles have a few more fans.

  34. BroncoAussie says:

Note to self, don’t worry about spelling mistakes or cause a double post.

  35. OrangeTsunami says:

LOL! So can u can watch games live? Do they play them in the bars/pubs?

  36. BroncoAussie says:

Yeah some do, one of our free to air channels shows 3 or so nfl games on a Monday (your sunday) but we only had two or three games in those primetime spots this year. Otherwise it is on the net.

  37. sndvl says:

Aussie? How can you forget *Aug. 8, 1999 Sydney, Australia Denver 20, San Diego 17

Broncos Country Stong & Global 2012

  38. BroncoAussie says:

Well I was 9 at the time, I wasn’t a fan for a few more years after that. But that is good to know. If they ever come back I will be there in a heartbeat.

  39. OrangeTsunami says:

Good call sndvl, I almost forgot about that game!

  40. Tide Bronco says:

Hello Aussie! Don’t think I’ve seen you post in awhile. Nice to see you back. There a couple of Aussies that post on Mile High Report, Boydy2669 and Thunder from Down Under. Either one of them happen to be you? Always enjoy their posts over there.

Love it that you guys are Broncos fans!

  42. royalt19 says:

This is possible because we have about 50mil to work with before going over the cap

  43. BroncoAussie says:

Yep been a loooonnnggg time, probably since last training camp. But I got a bit bored so I thought what the hell.

As for those two I am neither and I doubt I have meant them (in real life)but you never know. I do enjoy reading their stuff.

  44. BroncoAussie says:

Nice list royal. I think the Raiders are pretty high on Griffin and we already have a lot of money in the d-line already.

But I love the pick up of Carr. Get it done!

  45. OrangeTsunami says:

Between 1986 – 2005, the Broncos had the 3rd most international games in the league behind only the Cowboys and 49ers:

  46. sndvl says:

Lol. It was only an exhibition game. And if you were 9 yet to be fan…

I’m quite shocked the NFL hasn’t been back since. Maybe more exebition games can be played abroad. If Goddell is serious about going global? I think the London game is great and wish to see more (though I think it should be considered an away game for both teams and they can rock, paper, scissors the night before to see who wears the home colors!!!!) lmao

  47. BroncoAussie says:

I know Tsunami and that is great. It is one of the reasons the Broncos have such a large fan base world wide. They also went to London in what was it, 2010. So come back to Australia! :)

  48. BroncoAussie says:

I would love to see it go more global and to more countries. Then we can have the Gridiron World Cup!

  49. OrangeTsunami says:

I had no idea we have had so many… My memory blows I guess.. Maybe there is something to these international games… I know us fans hate giving up those home games, and the travel is brutal, but I guess you have to give to get.. As long as u get a bye week after, its not that bad i guess.. I might just have to change my view on this….

  50. OrangeTsunami says:

Im sure a TON of people will disagree…. Let’s hear it………. LOL!
