With free agency opening at 2 p.m. MDT Tuesday, the Broncos placed tenders on five restricted free agents.
The club tendered their exclusive rights free agents: punter Britton Colquitt, running back Lance Ball and tackle Chris Clark. Exclusive rights free agents are players with more than two accrued NFL seasons but less than three.
Wide receiver Matthew Willis and defensive tackle Ryan McBean were also tendered, meaning the Broncos have the right to match another team’s offer or receive a draft pick corresponding to which round the player was selected as compensation.
McBean was a fourth-round pick by the Steelers in 2007. Willis was undrafted, meaning the Broncos would not receive compensation should they choose not to match another team’s salary offer to the wide receiver.

Bears fans are estatic. Thats less than we traded him for lol. And people thought a 5th for brandon lloyd was too little. WRs are not that valued anymore.

I just hope Manning makes his decision today! We can’t wait for him while the rest of the talented FA guys sign with other teams. What ever happened to the saying “don’t throw all your eggs in one basket?” IMO Manning is the best QB since Elway retired, but this is such a risk with the neck injury issues. IF we take this chance and Manning comes to Denver and he gets reinjured or is never the same, the Broncos will be set back for years to come. Because I’m assuming if we land Manning we will trade Tebow to Jacksonville.
Miami just gave up on Manning cuz no way he comes without a threat like marshall.

I just want this QB quagmire to be over!!!!!!! And I thought it was until Manning became a free agent. Seriously, I would rather just know who is going to be a QB then be in limbo. It’s kind of funny! Its like EFX just got a new Porsche (Tebow) and then saw a Ferrari (Manning) drive by and now they want to trade in the Porsche for the Ferrari. Darn it!!! Bears are going to the superbowl … or at least gonna be serioiius contenders. They woulda made palyoffs last year if cutler and forte didn’t go down. They are prepping for the packers … bringing in a receiver like marshall and focusing all their power on gettign a pass rusher like Mario Williams … they WANT THIER DIVISION. Williams and Peppers will harrass rodgers.
