The NFL announced on Friday that the Broncos are the winners of the Week 6 GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week for their comeback from a 24-point halftime deficit to beat San Diego on Monday.
After the Chargers took a 24-0 lead at halftime, Denver turned in a furious second-half rally highlighted by three Peyton Manning touchdown passes and a pair of defensive touchdowns, a 65-yard fumble return by cornerback Tony Carter and a 46-yard interception return by cornerback Chris Harris.
The win put Denver atop the AFC West standings, as the Broncos and Chargers are both 3-3, with Denver currently holding the tiebreaker after Monday’s victory.

Bay, I hope that I get that game too because I want to see what the Saints do coming off the BYE. Home teams are 4-2 after the BYE this year.
The one thats interesting is the Ravens-Texans game sense they are both 5-1. Hey, some ones going to lose. I hope it’s Baltimore. LOL
*since*
I’m always rooting for the Texans unless they play us.
Me too. I’m a Kubiak fan!
Always!!!!!
You guys should live here, in Austin they are the area’s local team with Dallas, on network TV for every single game, Texans on CBS and Cowboys on FOX, ALWAYS!!!!
I hate the Cowboys, but I wouldn’t mind that Texans bit so much! (; It’s not so bad here, getting every Bronco game no matter what!
For some reason… Every Broncos game has been on national TV this season here in Chicagoland!!!
Peyton was in Indianapolis, so I’m not shocked that they’re playing all the Bronco games in Chicago. Of course most Bears fans hate him but I’m sure there are plenty of Colts fans in Illinois.
I don’t care about the Broncos on network TV since I always watch them at the sports bar with a couple of buddies and we can proudly wear our Bronco colors in public no matter what, that’s what it’s all about to me, expressing ourselves in front of a packed bar wearing team jerseys from other NFL teams. Packer fans looked deflated two weeks ago, Steeler fans have been AWOL, same with Dallas fans and Texan fans are running the bar, until last week I guess, but we played on Monday night so I wasn’t there. And that’s why I don’t like any night games because I miss out on all the NFL camaraderie, watch it at home so I don’t drink and drive late pm, unlike DJ, LOL…. Bummer we play Sunday night next, oh well, I’ll watch this one at home too, no one to show our colors to.
Time to rest and get ready for our Winnig the AFC west!!
Just me !
FTR
I was being facetious.
3 of them were In primetime. 1 was because Chicago had the bye. Another, they played the early game. But when Chi played Jacksonville and we played NE… I was shocked they televised it at the same time! And of course, our next game is a Primetime game as well.
I might miss the Cincy game because I’ll be in San Antonio for my cousins wedding lol
CBS was thrilled with having that Bronco/New England game. Hope we have a rematch in Denver in January.

Since it’s the bye week I thought it would be a good time to reflect on how good we have it in this country… with the time to enjoy simple games for entertainment when places in the world are still downright awful. It’s sad that this little game can hold such penultimate place in our lives and even in how some people view themselves and their own self-worth…
Many Thanks to the Denver Broncos for giving us a Childrens Game to go crazy over, when some in the world are simply crazy…
B-R-O-N-C-O-S BRONCOS BRONCOS BRONCOS!!!
Dang turtle. That’s not what I expected to read this early Sat. morning. A sad reality of the world we live in today. Whether its Afganistan or in our own backyard, ie. Jessica Ridgeway, Aurora Theater and all the other crimes against humanity.
It’s a good thing we ARE lucky to live in a part of the world where a game can have that penultimate impact in our lives.
What happened again? Happy Saturday…
Broncos Country Strong 2012!!!
Jonathan Vilma will never be happy. I am on the verge of truly hating his guy:

BT… That is devastating.
Different world, actually I was in the Herat they’re talking about in 1972 coming from Iran, it’s the first town after the border, spent a month in Afghanistan and ended up having traveled through 37 countries back then in about 4 years, lots to learn from the world that’s all around us…. usually not an american trait though… Just like that 14 year old girl in Pakistan, blown up because she spoke up for women… Twice in Afghanistan I almost got killed by men who thought I saw their women’s faces, once walking by a hotel room window with the curtains drawn, the other time walking into the backroom of a tea shop thinking it was the toilet. Then they just come out at you with knives and sabers and you spend the next hour talking your way out of it. Obviously I always somehow succeeded, different worlds, everyone who has a chance should try it if you can take it, our side is not the only one, you get to see the other side of the story and you start looking at things with a completely different understanding. Pakistan was better than Afghanistan as far as treatment of women go though, less medieval sort of speak, just a bit of improvement, and then I entered India, and even so there is a whole lot of serious issues there, it just felt like entering into a new world, a beautiful one, I know it sounds weird, you had to be there. And Nepal.. I was lucky to be there the last year of the reign of the last king, the last time that hashish shops were legal and they were run by the government, but that’s a whole different story, LOL. The hippie days brought me a lot of valuable experiences and lessons, believe it or not, some of you young guys now thinking you are living on the fringe are just doing what’s already been done for generations, no one invents anything, we just repeat history.
But for now, GO BRONCOS! Because this is the now I live in, haha.
Great to have you back Bay, I’ve hardly been reading blogs (just attatched articles) this season, because it’s just not the same without my Austin bud.
Thanks man, that means a lot, there has been some hard times on here for me and it was becoming way too much work, but I somehow am managing to make it fun again.
Broncs winning helps!!
In a way it’s more about how we win nowadays, last year it was on a prayer, this year it’s on skills, LOL.
Something to watch during the bye week.

One of my favorites. Hope you all enjoy!

Long Live The Neck!

Von must be super excited!!!
His A&M team looks great, all facets of the game, running, passing, D and ST, they are all over LSU in this first half, and LSU players are getting hurt left and right, I think the LSU reign is about over for a while, can’t say that upsets me any. Only 9-0 so far but against the LSU O that’s a crapload of points for them to overcome, LOL.
Sorry mellow, haha.
Von, it looks like I might of jinxed your team, LOL.
GO BRONCOS!!
Prediction:
Broncos 63
Bye 0
Hahaha @ bay it’s all good bro. Last year was the year we should’ve won the championship. Our D and running game is always good, but our coaching is suspect. We might shock Alabama in a few weeks bc it’s at home, but I see my Tigers loosing 1-2 more games. Les Miles is a great speaker but a average coach.
Ok, so I read this. Keep in mind I’m a Bears fan too. And all it did was royally make me mad. Maybe I shouldn’t be offended, what do you all think? I get that he loves Jay, but in my opinion, he should’ve left my QB out of it. Because he basically said that unless he plays with Jay he doesn’t want to play with anybody… implying that the best QBs in the NFL aren’t worthy of him. Now all I want is to destroy them in the SB.

According to Michael Lombardi Denver is talking to multiple teams about trading for a DT around the deadline. He didn’t give any teams who they are talking to however.
Also according to him the Rams are willing to ship out a lot of their roster for more assets. James Luaranites is rumored to be one. Even though he’s not a DT he’s a good young LB. I doubt Denver will trade for him but wouldn’t mind it if the did.
“where you going?”
“I’m going to pick a fight!”
name that movie for 10 bonus points…
then don’t be offended if I ‘liven’ things up around here a little in this place today!!!! The stage is set for an epic Slam, but in pointing out the ‘Depth of Shallowness’ that exists here lately would in essence put myself in that exact same boat! The Irony is so RIPE that it is delicious, and I know more than one person understands exactly what I’m talking about!!! So, I’m biting my tongue the best I can! Smiling and Nodding!!!
One Love in Broncos Country!!!
B-R-O-N-C-O-S BRONCOS BRONCOS BRONCOS!!!
PS HAPPY BRONCO GAMEDAY! (without the Bronco Game)
PROPS… to TERRELL SUGGS! I don’t care for him as a person, but as an athlete he is truly a MONSTER and to be active in WK 7 after an Achilles injury in April… Very Impressive!
HAHA… QUOTE OF THE DAY! Mr BERMAN from Countdown…
“The Giants couldn’t handle RG1 last season (Rex Grossman) and now they have to deal with RG3!’
That’s funny to me!
and PROPS to Countdown! the Camera Angles and Breakdowns are Amazing!
And, for the Football Record, I’m so Glad Collin Klein is finally getting National Attention… If you go back and read the Blog Carefully you will find MANY posts where I was touting this guy last season as a potential future backup for us (but obviously things changed!!!)… He’s Tebow 2.0 and he is AWESOME!!!
Chargers cheated on Monday!!!!!!
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000082614/article/chargers-allegedly-caught-using-sticky-substance
And they couldn’t even win.
Ummm… My girlfriends Dad may have just revolutionized watching the most boring sport in the history of mankind… NASCAR, well, maybe the second most boring sport behind Soccer… Anyway, He Tevo’s the Race, then watches it in fastforward until a caution flag and then slows to real speed to see what happened then when it’s back to full speed he returns to fast forward!!! GENIUS!
The Chargers SUCK!!
THE JETS ARE LOSRERS!! THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!
Boy was that bronco/charger game fun. My friend, who is a charger fan, is still barely talking to me. I find it hilarious that they’re investigating the chargers for cheating. That might be part of the reason my friend won’t talk to me lol
Bay I know what you mean as far as other parts of the world. I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. Completely different world.
I think it’d be awesome to get Laurinitaus. Although I like Mays and his tackling machine ways he’s just not a pro bowl caliber player. Having Laurinitaus would really beef up that front 7. I’m not sure if I want S Jackson. I think he’d be an upgrade from McGahee but I’m content with him for now as long as you can catch wide open passes in the flats and not fumble so much. I’m excited to see where Hillman is at in a couple years. I think he’ll become the change up back that we were looking for with Moreno.
BT.. The thing about NASCAR.. They have already invented something to FF past the boring part and go straight to the wrecks. It’s called sportscenter lol
I’m so excited for Sunday night. It’s gonna be a great game. Saints are a lot better then their record suggests. It’s gonna come down to which D can make the most plays. Another reason I can’t wait for SNF.. Faith Hill is so hot lol
GO BRONCOS!!!
Baylinorcrush. Bay, Every time I think I got you pegged you go and open up a can of whup-ass about your life….Its cool..I too traveled the world wen I was young…Britain, France, South Pacific….But India…Been wanting to go there since 3rd grade, was your Dad an Ambassador or a Service member or something? Mine was. Had a Buddy ( BroncoHolic) who’s Pops was an Ambassador to Saudi man the things he told my Mates and I…But what I wanted to post about was how I connected with what you said earlier in the Blog about going to the Sports Bar with your friends and were your colors….I’d Do the same thing, I’m a bit like a British Soccer fan! and it sure is Grand to be wearing and ORANGE CRUSH JERSEY AND THEY SHOW UP AND COLD KICK SOME A$$ !!!!! There was this one Guy wearing a Von Miller Jersey who had to leave at the half, a stranger to me, he said he had to work early in the AM to go to work, I told him”Don’t worry Payton has em right where he wants em!” I”ll Bet he wishes he stayed cause the BRONCOHOLICS TOOK OVER THE BUFFWWINGS AND MADE ALL THOSE ELECTRICHEADS WISH THEY HAD GONE HOME AT THE HALF!!!! HOW BOUT THOSE DANGED OL PONIES!!!! YEAH I WON $$$$$ AND YOU CAN TOO JUST BET ON THOSE PONIES BABY!!!
Crush Arizona.
Sorry for the delay, I just don’t pop in 24/7 anymore, LOL.
To answer your question, no, it was nothing like that. I kind of roughed it out instead. I left home when I got out of High School being the black sheep in the family and had only one desire then; discover the world I lived in that I didn’t know. So I would hold decent paying jobs for about six months periods and buy a two way ticket with a year to return and would choose to travel in third world countries or poor ones where the culture was nothing like ours and the living was cheap. That way I would experience and learn what I never had and have enough monies to travel for about ten months each time, did that three times, Middle East from Istambul to Nepal, North Africa and South America. By example I could live in India for about 70 dollars a month, one dollar a day for lodging, another dollar a day for food and that was it. You could cross India in third class on a train trip that would last about 24 hours for less than 20 dollars, the worse possible way to travel but the only one I could afford. And when things got tight I would find ways to earn a few bucks here and there. That’s how it was. The latter part of the hippie days, the early seventies. Even so I had long hair then I considered myself more of a globetrotter, never had anything to do with communes or traveling in groups, in fact two of those trips I took completely alone, and that’s what made me the man I am today more than anything else I’ve done my entire life. Just imagine what it’s like to land by yourself in a country of which you don’t understand a word and cannot be understood by hardly anyone. All you can do is attempt to dig deep enough to survive it in your head. And it makes you real strong if you can make it. At the beginning of the one in South America I almost caved in and returned to mom, LOL, I can laugh now but it wasn’t funny then….. Anyway, by about age 22 I could finally settle down since my mind had been shaped and strengthened a million fold so I could take whatever abuses life would throw at me in the future and embarked in “real” life taking a real job, haha.
It’s cool that you got to experience the world too, even though in a different path, good for you, you were luckier than most, no wonder I like you, you always seem happy in your own skin and it shows.
