For the fifth time this season, the Broncos have won the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week.
This time, it comes as a result of the Broncos’ come-from-behind, 13-10 overtime victory against the Chicago Bears.
Trailing 10-0 late in the fourth quarter, Tim Tebow found Demaryius Thomas for a 10-yard touchdown. After the Bears recovered the ensuing onside kick, the defense forced a three-and-out, and the offense had another chance.
Matt Prater kicked a 59-yard field goal to send the game to overtime, and after the defense forced a fumble, the Broncos drove down the field for the game-winning 51-yarder by Prater.
The team won the award in Week 12 for its comeback win at San Diego, in Week 11 for its game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter against the Jets, in Week 10 for its victory at Kansas City and in Week 7 for its overtime win at Miami.
Each week’s winner will be stacked up against the 16 other Never Say Never weekly winners at the end of the season to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year. At the conclusion of the regular season, fans can log onto NFL.com/gmc to vote throughout January for their favorite Moment of the Year among the 17 candidates.

Can’t mess with my theory!
While our defense is playing well we haven’t faced this powerful of an offense yet this season.
Im so pumped for this game!!! its the biggest challenge for tebow thus far and i know its gonna be a great game maybe not high scorin but a battle of postion and on the line is a game i still love to watch!!!
This was a gimme.
Hoping for big improvements from Timmy this week. Remember your checkdowns, you don’t always need to swing for the fence.
@brian……remember GB?
Well we have 5 chances of winning the NSNM of the year..whooopee!!!
I know one thing all these come from behind wins are wearing on my old ticker,Elway had my heart pounding so many times I couldn’t count’em,I loved watching him play QB,I remember watching football growing up,I was the only one in my house that liked sports,I watched all the games I could get,Saturday,Sunday, and MNF all by myself. My dad would watch sometimes,if he had nothing else to do(work). He’d say”boy that John Elway is something else,I like him, just when you think they’re gonna lose, boom,he starts lighting it up.
Tebow has the Heart of a Champion, just like Elway..not comparing the 2 in any way,so back off!
My point is if they had the NSNM of the week when he played,he would have won several….dozen!
Personally I dont think its the biggest Challenge for Tebow. Vikes and Raiders D were ranked much better … but everone in the media sure acts like it … Its an even bigger challenge for our Defense who they swear is so awesome which is the reason we have been winning … not Tebow … so alot of pressure on the D to stop a HOFer. But as a team … not looking at 1 phase or one player … definitely the biggest Challenge the Broncos will face, record wise and skill wish. Gonna be a tough one but a good one. Beating scrubs is good cuz thats what u are supposed to do (and we have) … but to be a championship team … u gotta hang with the big boys. Lets hope we can. Even if we can, we have taken more strides this year than I could imagine and its only up from here IMO (in respect to this whole season no matter how it ends).
Later days TRB
Ps: I hope Irving works out too BFE … I was looking at the LBs we passed up and Mason Foster is killing it as a MLB for the Bucs and we (The Broncos Organization) were interested in him but passed on him for Irving, ad he was taken like 17 pics later by the bucs.
TRB
35 4th qtr comebacks and 46 game winning drives, all the stats:

For the record I like Joe Mays … still a young guy and he is doing well … wanting Irving to succeed is no indictment on what he has done for us. He has been very key in run support. TRB
TRB…agreed Mays is a Beast at stopping the run, which we were horrible at last year.So Mays is the man for now,but Irving should be able to compete for a spot somewhere!
At least maybe he will be a quality backup for now!
That’ didn’t come out right. I should say since our defense has started playing better we haven’t faced this powerful of an offense.
That’s not a rib shot at our defense I’m just saying we’ll need to play top shelf football in all 4 qtrs and in all 3 phases.
Also congrats on another Never Say Never … defines this team. Every week … its they will Never do this … or they can’t do this or just a bunch of doubt about Tebow and the Broncos … but we come through. Never Say Never. With 5 awards, we have almost 1/3rd of the NSN … chances are we will win it for the year … most likely the Miami one … because it started it all and was very impressive. TRB
I agree that our Defense is our key to victory against the Pats, our O should be fine, their Defense ain’t too good, but our pass D ain’t too good either especially our secondary.
Covering all their weapons,Gronk,Hernandez,Welker,Branch, and Ochocinco will be a large task for our weak secondary and slow LBs,imo.
I think we`ll keep up with N.E. until the very end when it suddenly goes into OT. LOL
Irving also caused the fumble on ST vs. the Dolphins, which of course helped propel the Broncos to victory in OT.
Alot of bazarre outcomes happening late in games to propel us to a Broncos victory each week.
Almost seem like the Buffalo Wild Wings commercials may be accurate the way we’re winning some of these games LOL
rbf1, Thx he did … i forgot about that one.
BFE, I believe once we start bringing the heat with von and Doom and maybe DJ, they will be forced to put Gronk as extra blocker … because he is a better blocker than Hernandez … in which case we will only have to handle hernandez who has decent speed and catching ability and is more like a WR … which means a CB will be able to cover him better than Gronk who has the size advantage. This is what I am thinking at least. All depends on pass ruse … plus NE is over there trying to get the matchups they want as well. To limit Gronk The Jets put Revis on Gronk on a couple of key third downs and redzone plays …. we might have to do the same. TRB
With Champ that is … TRB
I think the key for our defense is how well we cover their screen game. I believe they will screen us to death to compensate for our improved pass rush. Db’s will have to cover and tackle exremely well.
DEN- 24
NE – 34
Gronk will have a big game
With that said, I believe we will get either Edelman or Welker to fumble it at least once and we end up with a fumble six by Wilhite.
Setting the tone for Mcgahee, Ball, and Larsen…
man am i stoked for this game i think everyone is underestimating our defense and how tebow can throw just fine to move our offense i believe he will have a great game and ounce again do something people say he cant. seems to be his style proving people wrong! I just hope when tim does make the great throws that our recievers do there job and catch the thing.
i love our chances im sayin denver 30
pats 28
i think chris harris will have a big game i love the way this guy has played he has been a solid tackler and has coverd really well i see him having a pic in this game in a crucial moment. i also think von will have an amazing game he knows all the hype around this game and will be foaming at the mouth to hit brady i think he forces a fumble on brady punching it out with his club arm. lol
Denver – 27
N.E. – 21
Stephen A. Smith said Skip has been drinking too much kool-aid. lol lol
No prob TRB.
For the people who cares. The first pick in the draft we get. It won’t be used on D or for a QB. We will use our first pick on a Stanford TE. So don’t bother picking someone else on that mock draft ur compiling.
This is gonna be an awesome game, not only do i see us dominating, but our defense scores a few points off turnovers.
A TE with our first pick….wake up, we have two waiting in the wings.
Broncos 32
Pats 12
@Elway we always had TE waiting in the wings. That still has not stopped them before. Thomas has been on the inactive list since Ciny. I dont think it’s for a high ankle sprain anymore. I think the just deactivated him. Green is just a ST player in there eyes. Fields and Dawson are the TE. So they can draft one and cut one. Watch and learn!!!
007, I often wondered here about those TEs picks in the draft, they sure haven’t shown nearly any of the potential many bloggers here kept blabbing about, they look like total non factor so far and may very well never be, I can see the need for another TE but most likely not in the first.
