Kicker Matt Prater has provided the Broncos with their first points of the afternoon on a 43-yard field goal with 7:55 left in the first quarter that makes it 3-0. Prater is now 10-for-10 on the year.
The Broncos moved into field goal range with a 12-play, 55-yard drive highlighted by strong play from quarterback Peyton Manning, who completed five of his six passes for 43 yards, including a 21-yard completion to wide receiver Eric Decker.
The Broncos successfully converted two third downs on the drive, with Manning moving the chains on a pair of short completions, one to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and one to running back Lance Ball.
