Having won five games in a row, and six of their last seven, the Denver Broncos have garnered increased attention from around the nation as they turned their 1-4 start into a 7-5 record.
But despite the additional intensity from outside sources, the team hasn’t let it become a distraction.
“For me, (I want) to consistently be motivated and come out here and work extremely hard and not worry about everything else on the outside — whatever good or bad is said,” quarterback Tim Tebow said. “Just let that be on the outside and focus on things I can control and come in here being a great teammate, work as hard as I can and try to get a little bit better.”
While Tebow himself has been the focus of much coverage, the team’s last-to-first turnaround has also been a big talking point. However, even tied atop the AFC West, the players are staying grounded.
“We still have the same mentality,” linebacker Von Miller said. “Still taking it one day, one play at a time. That’s the mentality we had six weeks ago and that’s the same feeling we have today.”
But while the wins in November helped propel the Broncos into the AFC West race, Head Coach John Fox has made it clear to the players that it’s what they do in December that counts.
“The way we’re playing right now, we got to keep it up,” defensive end Jason Hunter said. “We can’t afford to start patting ourselves on the back. We’ve got to continue to grind, grind, grind and at the end of this four-game stretch, we’ll see where we are.”
The Broncos have the advantage of playing three of their last four games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Their recent success has come mostly on the road — where they’ve also won five straight games — and they are looking to their fans to help make the last quarter of the season memorable.
“We’ve been trying to display this road warrior thing. But it’s good to come back home,” defensive end Elvis Dumervil said. “Last time we played here it was really rocking. So we’re looking forward to the fans to make sure it’s really rocking.”
Below are some photos from Wednesday’s practice.

The incredible reach of “Tebowing” now has extended into the ranks of American Olympic heroes.
Lindsey Vonn, a world-class skier who captured gold and bronze medals at the 2010 Vancouver Games, dropped to one knee after winning Wednesday’s super-G in Beaver Creek, Colo.
Lindsey Vonn breaks out a very solid version of Tebowing.
Vonn pulled a similar stunt after winning another event in Canada last week, according to UniversalSports.com.
(Apparently, Lindsey Vonn just flies around North America winning things. Good work if you can get it.)
Vonn befriended Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow — the inspiration for “Tebowing” and so much more — at a recent charity golf event. Robby Tebow, brother of Tim, also is a friend of Vonn’s and attended the Beaver Creek event.
Vonn asked Robby for approval before striking the famous pose.
“I said that if I won in Colorado, or at home, that I would do it,” Vonn said, according to The Denver Post. “Go Broncos. I did it. Got to represent.”
It remains to be seen if Vonn will inspire other notable Olympians to Tebow. Tonya Harding fans, stay alert.
Hey Bay – that last ones for you!!!
INCREDIBLE
Are you missing a picture as well?
And about the question whether the jerseys will change design for next year, I would say yes unless the Broncos organization knows nothing about making money, they will make enough subtle changes to make you have to buy a new one even if you have an orange one now. I’m waiting til the new ones come out to buy mine for certain.
THANKS GOD
Tebow and Vonn would make a very nice couple.
Missing pic too, x-rated probably, haha.
Aight …Here we go again
24-10 DEN
TT 10-12 204 yds 2TD 80rush yds
McG 20-140 yds
Ball 22-70 yds
Von 4 Sacks, 2 FF, FR, TD
Ayers 2 sacks, FR
Doom 3 Sacks, FF
Carter 2 INTs
All versions are appropriate in the stands!!! My entire family is dressed in old jerseys. I get the new one!
With Tebow jerseys – for the first time I can wear the jersey over my tie in place of a suit coat and in most churches – it’s appropriate. Weird!!! LOL
7:45 softball game tonight – it’s a cold 54 degrees now but it will be below 30 before the game is over. Hope I don’t pull anything important to me!!
This isn’t supposed to happen to us Californians.
Thanks baylin much appreciated, and yes thats a good point. Id like to see them update the orange jerseys, not saying i dont like them but they could be better. As long as its ORANGE its alright with me
BRONCOS 23-Bears 13 Go Broncos!
baylin i thought you said Tebow and Von Miller would make a good couple at first lol but u meant Linsdey Vonn…
Yeah, Vonn, not Von, I’m not that mean, LOL.
So… I as many get excited in the heat of the moment… I called for McCarthy to be cut because he tackles like a slow white guy (Like Me)… But upon watching the game film again, I did see him make a critical Seal block on the KO return that set up our one play 41 yard TD for TnT (I like that, nice work Royalty… hope it’s ok I borrowed it)…
This is my formal apology to McCarthy… Nice Job (Now Cut him before he plays another snap in the secondary!)
Good looking lady – only a couple of years older than Tebow – but she’s in divorce recovery for a while.
Also, #56 was in on several defensive snaps… I only remembered him on one during the game, but saw him in on at least a handful in the replay that I watched with my Grandpa at lunch today…
He didn’t really make an impact but he really wasn’t a liability, so it is good to see that we will be developing quality depth, which is paramount for long term success… I call him Quality simply on his merit as a Special Teamer, do to the fact that he really flies around when given the opportunity
Daddy, I miss California at times, especially in the winter here in Colorado. I`m from Orange County. I can go for a In N Out Burger right now. LOL
Im officially on the Tebow wagon…or is it the Tebow train?
“When you die, there’s going to be a tombstone. It’s going to have your name, it’s going to have the year you were born, and it’s going to have the day you died. In between, there’s going to be a dash. And that dash is going to represent everything that you did in your life; good and bad. It’s how you’re remembered. What do you want your dash to represent?”
Whatever it is, his paraphrasing of ‘The Dash’ by Linda Ellis…has deeply moved during this trying time in my life.

GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!
You ok sndvl? And welcome aboard… I’m pretty sure it has to be a train, as there are so many people coming around that they have a real need to add additional cars…
Sndvl, it sounds as if your in morning over losing Orton. You sound as if you died a certain death, a football kind of one. Bury the airless football. LOL
My life will probably be remembered as a dash of salt.
Welcome aboard SNDVL!!! It’s been a long hard battle to pull you on.
You OK?
Strand – headed to In-n-out after the game. I always have to replace the used up calories. I wouldn’t want to fade away. (not that I’m in any danger – just wouldn’t want to risk it.) Animal style!!!
And Turtle, if Lindsay Vonn and Tebow get hitched, you may truly get your Vonn Tebow, haha
Ive posted this on a different blog but this is why its called the Tebow Train and not Wagon…
Now I’ve been happy lately
Thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be
Something good has begun
I’ve been smiling lately
Dreaming about the world as one
And I believe it could be
Something good’s bound to come
For out on the edge of darkness
There runs the peace train
Peace train take this country
Come take me home again
Peace train sounding louder
Ride on the peace train
Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah
Come on the peace train
Peace train’s a holy roller
Everyone jump upon the peace train
Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah
This is the peace train
Evertime I hear “Tebow Train”, I start singing this to myself because were all on the Tebow Peace Train
I need to get a #15 personalized Peace Train jersey next year…
Good ole In n Out. And along with scriptures under the cups.
Sounds like I’m right back in my hippie days in the sixties, love and peace. They say life makes a full circle, I hope I’m not at the end.
Has to be animal style, man I`m hungry. LOL
Strand – I’ll order an extra Chocolate shake in your honor!!!
Bay, you can`t go yet, who`ll replace you?
bayling Tebow would have made a good hippie i agree..
Not by a long shot, Bay.

My dad’s first cousin is the Strength and Conditioning coach of the Kansas City Chiefs… Mike Clarke, and they come to visit us about once every third year or so…
He called the other night to talk to my Grandma, his aunt, and I couldn’t help but get the phone and ask him about Orton and what he had to say about his time in Denver, and if he had any Kind words for Tebow…
He couldn’t give me a difinitive answer as it is in his contract not to talk about players on the team during season, but he laughed and said ‘You wouldn’t repeat it in Church…’
He played for the Raiders for a year in the early nineties, which is quite an incredible story, as he only has one lung… they didn’t re-sign him for a second season so he started his career as a strength training assistant, he was the S&C Coach in Seattle before KC…
I’m off to pool league… Talk to you soon!
Lets take a trip to San Francisco, thats where its happen man. Hey baby, thats cool.
Haight-Ashbury
I love the bay and the bridge. That’s about it!
I was a kid in the sixties but my dad was – deep! I heard all the rhetoric ad nauseum. Cut my teeth on that stuff. People who think a kid with a purple mohawk is the same thing – haven’t got a clue.
