The Broncos signed free agent offensive lineman Tony Hills Tuesday, who was waived by the Pittsburgh Steelers. To make room for Hills, the Broncos waived tackle Herb Taylor.
Hills, a fourth-round pick by the Steelers in 2008, played in four games last season for Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-5, 304-pound tackle was a standout at the University of Texas, where he played in 42 career games and made 24 consecutive starts.

Side note I hear Darius Butler is also Available from the Patriots. We HAVE to get him. I remember seeing the Wilhite release and thinking … wish it was Butler … and now Butler is available. 2nd round pick from 2009 (we lost all our 2nd rounders) … Great speed good size … from a good team.
If it was anyone other than the Patriots I would be wondering what he was doing to thier secondary … released Merriweather, Wilhite, AND Butler. Maybe their Depth is just THAT good but I wish we could get Butler. But we already got Wilhite. And after a blog on Harris would be sad to see the kid go.

I understand the need for DT … only reason I doubt we get Landri is because Fox had him once, and chose not to bring him back … and the DTs in Carolina are FAR from elite. Probably worse than ours last year.
What I see is that they kept Ty Warren on the active roster which means they truly hold hope he will be able to play, if not they woulda but him on IR or at least PUP list. He is eating up space. Marcus Thomas will be back soon enough and while McBean sucks, he is not bad as a 2nd stringer. But unrein on the other hand can go bye bye lol.
I just really want Butler … Maybe he will have a resurgence here … maybe not but who knows man …. I personally think our secondary is so old we can’t pass on a patriot 2nd round pick from 2 years ago. Might not be good enough for them but I bet it is for us to we get better lol. TRB

Does anybody really think were going to run on the raiders? Besides of that D-Line every man on that defense is faster then any of our running backs, they have some serious speed.

Like TRB said,Orton is average at best,that’s it,when the game is on the line,when a QB has to have that fire in his eyes,and that killer instinct,Orton chokes,Tebow,however cranks it up a notch and goes to the next level.

There is no substitute for experience … even in the real world when people come out of college. The still want experience … so you can do all the sit and learning but its experience that makes proffesionals in my opinion … depends on who you ask. Just me tho. TRB
SNDVL, I don’t know where you got your stats but we’ve stunk in the redzone with Orton. Orton had his fantasy stats against teams in prevent defense after they were kicking our backsides. The 6-0 start was a fluke, it’s how you finish the race. The NY jets back in the early 80′s were like 8-0 and failed to make the playoffs. Remember O’Brien at QB (kinda reminds me of Orton). McD was mainly pumping Orton’s stats because the team stunk and he was coaching for another O/C job. McD loved letting the world think that he was the greatest QB coach in the league. SNDVL we got punked by Oakland, and freaking Arizona with a scrub at QB. I’m glad the team could polish a terd and get you pumped up. I got some land in Homested Florida I would like to sell you. But I give up. Orton is Foxy’s favorite kinda of QB. So, I guess I better just start getting amp’d up for nuggets basketball. Oh wait there is a lock-out. Darn..
