In 2012, Colorado has suffered through a tragic shooting in Aurora and multiple wildfires throughout the state.
To honor the victims of the tragedies and show their support for the state, the Broncos will wear a special helmet decal for the 2012 season.
The sticker — pictured above — is a ribbon featuring the state flag of Colorado.
The decal will make its first appearance this Sunday night, when the Broncos take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Showing support for their home state is an important cause for the Broncos this season. As linebacker Von Miller wrote in his latest blog, “We had a lot of stuff happen around Denver in the last year and we just want to bring some happiness and joy — and hopefully some wins — back to Colorado this season.”

I’m so happy for the Redskins and especially Jim Haslett. He went through a lot when he was head coach of the Saints, and he had that defense fired up.
Man Hightower and Jones for the Patriots looked really good today. Combining their talents to make one big play happen. A FF by Jones recovered by Hightower for a TD.
RG3 looked really good better than Luck. Luck didnt look bad either. Weeden and Tannehill looked horrible.
Ponder and Locker didnt look bad either.
Im stuck watching the Seachickes Cards game when I would much rather be watching the Buccs Panthers or Packers Niners games.
Also the replacement refs have been doing a decent job. Missed calls of course but we had them with the regular ones as well. I am more disappointed with some of the announcers and some of the comments they make. One of them during the Titans Patriots game after a WR dropped the catch said well if the receiver had caught the ball it wouldve been a catch……I actually had to go back rewind and see if I heard that correctly. Couldnt believe the stupidity in that comment. I mean what else would it be? A sack? And the announcers arnt replacements lol.
Man next week i am not going to listen to advice of the fantasy football experts. A lot kept saying bench Lynch and start Turbin so I did. ANd getting screwed. Same said bench MJD so I did. Got burned. Dont start RG3 over Luck Ponder or Locker so I didnt. Also said to start Trent Richardson. All were the wrong choice with how things turned out. These experts really screwed me over lol next time I guess I just need to go with my gut.
