ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Meet your 2012 Denver Broncos.
On Friday, the club waived or released 19 players — including veteran cornerback Drayton Florence — placed two on the reserve-suspended list and another on injured reserve to reach the regular-season roster limit of 53 players.

Beginning Saturday at 10 a.m. MDT, the Broncos can establish a practice squad of up to eight players. Every player the team waived — except Thompson — is eligible for the practice squad.
In addition, the team has the No. 25 waiver priority — based on last season’s record — to claim any players waived from other teams.

Nine rookies made the active roster — including a college free agent for the ninth consecutive season. Linebacker Steven Johnson, who led the team in tackles in the preseason and notched a sack and a forced fumble, and long snapper Aaron Brewer kept the streak alive. It’s the first time multiple college free agents made the roster since the 2008 season.

It’s true AB, but I feel like Brady did not win his SB in his prime and Bills defense was what helped him win the first two more than anyting, he lost the SB in his prime and won only when they were cheaters! LOL
Cat I agree. I dont think it was as much Brady as people make it seem but of who all they had around him.
It’s a never ending cycle, I guess you just have to say who the GOAT is for you and Manning’s that for me. Hopefully he gets a few more rings to prove it to everyone else. John Elway is runner up for me, but IF we win the SB out of this, make I put him as the GOAT instead. All I know is this is CRAZY!!!! and wow… Nine days.

Well its been great. Have got to meet many great people and great fans of the Broncos. I will be off for a while. A long while. Due to severe personal reasons. I will still be rooting and watching Denver games every Sunday. Hope yall do the same. These last few months were actually a lot of fun having Bronco fans to actually talk to.

I agree with you guys that Hanie doesn’t look good but you’re all wrong about Moreno he’ll be fine if he doesn’t get hurt( I bet he doesn’t) pretty cool Steve Johnson made the team plus I like Tony Carter,were you guys surprised Juluous(sp). ok, i just finally read the final cuts… not a lot of surprises…. 2 players i least wanted out, Squid and Gerell Robinson… does that mean Carter outplayed Squid and Florence??

I would have cut Ball and kept Johnson…. he was a beast in preseason…. quick, good cuts, and has a great attitude…. Robinson looked good as well, but i would look into picking up a new wide receiver,, too many good players that were cut, (branch???!!). Broncos should be good this year baby!! Smash the Steelers!!!

I think JJ was the hardest cut by the Broncos. I`ll tell ya what, if any of our RB`s goes down, JJ gets a phone call that very moment to get back on our team.

I`m glad about JJ, Saliga, Ingram, and Garland especially. There`s a really good chance that JJ comes back to the regular roster as the season progresses. I can see Saliga back also. You never know though.

I can’t believe we kept Hanie, or Leonhard, or Brooking or Unrein or Stokely for that matter… (eeesh, I almost sound like I’m racist against aging, injury prone white guys on our football team…) I understand that Unrein is not injury prone or aging, but he is a true non-factor on D…
Well Leonyard, Brooking, and Stokely are for experience. I have no beef with these players. If they get injured, they won`t last long.
The Broncos still might make another move or two on the 53 man roster. They might get a vet LB or WR perhaps. I`m only speculating of course.
Sounds like there was more than one squad that put claims in on Weber, I can’t find specifics but the article I found said he will have multiple options to be on PS of teams that are carrying only two QB’s…
