Only weeks from the dawn of their NFL careers, Broncos rookies visited the place where all players hope their careers will one day conclude – the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
Rookies from throughout the AFC toured the Hall of Fame on Wednesday, and if the NFL newcomers needed an extra jolt of inspiration leading into their first NFL training camps, it’s hard to imagine that they didn’t find one while strolling Canton’s legendary grounds.
If the Hall’s famed bronze busts, storied artifacts, and echoes from gridirons past weren’t enough, the rookies also received an NFL history lesson from one of the NFL’s most revered history makers — Cleveland Browns great Jim Brown, who addressed the rookies for 40 minutes.
Broncos rookies took to Twitter to share a few snapshots of their day at the Hall.
Defensive tackle Sylvester Williams found himself admiring a rather familiar orange and blue jersey with No. 7 on the back.

For running back Montee Ball, a trip to the Hall meant a pilgrimage to the Super Bowl XXXII jersey of his childhood football hero — and for Ball, that was worthy of a little exclamation.

Through all of the museum’s monuments and memories, wide receiver Tavarres King found himself face-to-face with the NFL’s most revered hardware.
